Not trashing the show but, is it just me or does anyone else view the term “Spin-Off” as a word attributed to a New Show who’s Premise and characters Premiered in the Flag Ship Show…I.E. “Doctor Who? Torchwood ( Jack Harkness Debuts in the show for several Major episodes) Sarah Jane Adventures ( Sarah Jane is Major Companion to 2 of the most Famous Doctor’s for several seasons) K-9 ( Companion of the 4th Doctor for several seasons)…Class (?)

It’s already been confirmed that this is for “mature audiences” and contains adult themes so it’s more along the lines of Torchwood

I think big finish should hurry up and get the class licence so we can have a monthly range going alongside the series

I don’t know what to think about this image. Its a bit random. I really like seeing different aspects of the Doctor Who universe but I’m worried this programme may be too different and it may not feel like something out of the Doctor Who universe. I hope this programme goes well

Out of all the possible spin offs they could have made for doctor who it had to be one about a modern day school. I was hoping for a spin off about the paternoster gang or they could have brought back the dalek chronicles, in fact why not make a series of episodes for the eighth doctor or the war doctor. I think the real reason they made this was to save money from spending on the good costumes and props.

If they did a spin off of any of your suggestions, the BBC would have to have the same kind of budget as they do for the main show…which they would never be able to do. Its not about saving money, its about them not having the money in the first place to do anything like that.

For all I love your suggestions, you have to be realistic.

I’m actually really excited for this, the synopsis reminded me of the Flash Season 2 in which various wormholes open up as villains for a different reality come through and need to be stopped, like the rips in time and space or whatever are opening in Class
