Let’s hope there is some continuity with the timeslots this series, and that it stays throughout at between 7.00pm and 7.30pm.

Episode 11 entitled World Enough and Time and episode 12 entitled The Doctor Falls.

And one of the quotes from the finale is “My name’s Doctor Who”.

From the mouth of Steven Moffat himself!

Apparently, at the end of episode 1 there will be a next time trailer which has a massive spoiler in. There will be a countdown and then you have to ‘blink’ to miss it. I wonder what ‘massive spoiler’ could be in the emoji bots episode?

No it’s not. It’s well… you already know. It won’t be a surprize. Although maybe it is something else. Either way I’m watching the trailer.

I didn’t think that the john Simm thing was in the 2nd episode. Or is the trailer for the whole season?

It’s the whole season. It is john Simms master returning.

      Your doing a countdown aren’t you. 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 episode 1 airs. 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 episode 2 airs 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 episode 3 airs and so on. Eventually…
      7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Christmas episode airs. 8963 8962 8961 and so on.
If that ever happens then I will go crazy.

Just to warn you guys, the Sun has apparently already spoiled the big secret they were saving for the new trailer. I won’t ruin it for you (the nice guy that I am) but I’m kind of partial to it. I will say, however, that this has further cemented my belief that the Sun is, far and away, the most shameless newspaper in England (as if we needed more proof of that).

I’m still expecting that story to turn out to be rubbish as the Sun has a large history of reporting nonsensical lies. The article matches word for word with the other sources reporting it like they’ve all hit copy and paste then pretendimg it’s their own words.

The Doctor has an infinite amount of faces he can regenerate into so why should he always be white. I can perhaps understand if people aren’t too keen for him to regenerate into a woman seeing as he’s been a man up to now (even though it shouldn’t really be an issue) but there’s no reason why he should always be a white person

      April 1st, 2017 - 3:25am

Ace isn’t gay. Just because there was originally planned to be a lesbian subtext in Survival, it doesn’t mean she actually is.

Besides, there’s plenty of other gay companions such a Oliver Harper, Mike Yates, Liz Shaw, Izzy Sincair, Fey Truscott-Sade, Chris Cwej and I’m sure there’s others.

Just seen the new clip where they announce Bill’s sexuality, they showed a tiny bit of footage from what I’m assuming is the first episode, bill seems a lot more down to earth and intelligent than the trailer suggests, I thought she’d be a gimmicky, ditzy companion but she seems alright

‘secret mission’ Series 10 plot arc?

Looks like the Daleks are in a cameo role here. Probs be some other cameos like last years terrible opener.

My prediction is that the Daleks are only in the pre-credits sequence. I’m not going to lie, I’m most excited about the Cybermen episode and the Jamie Mathieson episode. And I’m also very intrigued as to how Rona Munroe will write for the new series

Personally, I feel the Daleks could do with a break (they use them way too much nowadays) so just to have them cameo this year would be very welcome to me.

  • Doctor Stu

    March 30th, 2017 - 5:39pm

A first episode with a new companion needs to be a character building episode if the daleks are in it I hope they’re not underused. It would be nice if the first episode is something completely different and then Daleks are in the second episode as a sort of non cliffhanger – cliff hanger. A tiny bit like when Winston Churchill called the Doctor at the end of the beast below and we see the Dalek shadow move across the wall

In this “terrifying chase across time and space”, the Daleks are likely to be in only one part of the episode.

    • Doctor Stu

      March 30th, 2017 - 6:58pm

So they’ll probably just stumble through a Dalek conflict on their chase through time, maybe we’ll have a bunch of other monster cameos

    • The Temporal Jelly Baby

      March 30th, 2017 - 7:43pm

      Exactly, yes.
And yeah, I guess that’s a possibility. Other monster cameos would be nice so long as they don’t overdo it.

Could the girl with the star in her eye be the water girl we saw in the trailers? She’s obviously connected to the the daleks so maybe this is the dalek story

It says that they travel across the universe so I imagine that the Dalek and Movellan conflict is just one of the places they pass by, a bit like “The Chase” I suppose.

    • Doctor Stu

      March 30th, 2017 - 7:00pm

I think it is the same person because someone on twitter just shared a screenshot from the new trailer and the water girl has a star in her eye like a proper star shaped star inside her eye
