Doctor Who Series 7 Trailer / Screenshots

Doctor Who Series 7 Trailer

From The BBC…

We’ve been promised blockbuster episodes for the new series of Doctor Who… and the trailer released today shows just how blockbuster they’re going to be!

There’s a real epic quality to much of the trailer – we see majestic snowy plains, a terrifyingly vast array of Daleks, huge explosions, the Doctor and the Ponds plunging through an enormous tunnel of light and even dinosaurs on a spaceship! But it’s also great to get a glimpse of River Song and scary little moments like Rory and the stone cherub…

    “Dinosaurs… on a spaceship!”

How many times has the Doctor said the title of the episodes?

I have more of a feeling it will be Omega. It would explain the holes in time, The reboot(big bang 2). He’s anti matter, hate’s the doctor, plus the time lords, Plus could explain the time war. Before fan’s metion the hand of omega..I do think this helped towards the start of the time war. But was the doctor played into using it to distroy Skyro.

Steven’s not in charge of when new episodes get broadcast, that’s all down to the BBC who deal with schedules.

Steven works in a team of many individuals to produce a show, and so does every other TV show that gets made.

It’s then left to whoever is is charge of the weekly schedules to decide what to broadcast on what day and at what time.

If your referring to the one where the Doctors leg’s are seen running past a ‘Resurrection’ style Dalek, then yes, it’s casing is open.

You might also notice the the front bottom end of another Time War era Dalek next to it if you look real closely to the left next to the opened casing.

My favourite bit was the Weeping Angel blowing out Rory’s Candle! If I put the episodes in order from best to worst, mine would be:

    Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
    A Town Called Mercy
    Episode 4 (Cubed, TBC)

According to Wikipedia about this series, John Simm has denied rumours of any such return to Doctor Who.

I wish fan’s would just accept the Master is NEVER going to return, and why should he ?, we already know the poor sod was victim of who he became all because of Rassilon.

The Master became a hero and died a hero, just let him rest in peace.

Its well known the production team dont like spoilers

The problem is they used to be confined to closed forums (where you had to be members to see them) which was fine but now there are spoiler sites posting anything and everything on mass. Not everyone wants to see spoilers but its becoming harder and harder to avoid them because of this as people are posing them anywhere and everywhere.

what does the doctor mean by that? does he mean “the master’s” as in, the master, and if so the master’s what?

    • Jason doctorwhoone

      August 3rd, 2012 - 5:28pm

When his talking about the Master, he must be referring to the the fact that the Master became who he was because of Rassilon, making the young 8 year old who became the Master a victim of the madness of hearing the sound of drums in his mind all his life, driving him up the wall into becoming evil, all Rassilon’s doing, hence why in ‘The End of Time – Part 2’, the Master says to Rassilon ‘You did this to me, ALL MY LIFE, YOU MADE ME !!!!”.

    • TNDNR

      August 5th, 2012 - 2:15pm

It could also mean the Doctor isn’t going to have mercy this time. He may be saying that he’s willing to kill the threat to stop people dying because of it. He’s had many chances to kill the Daleks and the Master but was too merciful. Perhaps the person in this episode is known to the Doctor and the Doctor let him go and now he’s done something again which has got people killed. It’s a vague dramatic trailer line at the moment though and the exact context won’t be known for sure until broadcast.
