The battles can begin. With the Ben 10 Deluxe Omnitrix you will never get bored. At home these toys for toddlers work great in the garden, but Gowi really shines when it’s time to go to the beach.

Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 28th, 2010
the part i was puzzled on cause when he was going back in his timeline, and when he got to the angel one when amy was with her eyes shut was it the doctor ( in the present) talking to amy or the one from the scene cause it made it look like both were taking part
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 27th, 2010
it was too cheesy with the amy comng out the pandorica but a good idea, river song kills the doctor but its a time loop asif it never happens, he comes back as matt smith
Posted by: TimeLord_Davros June 27th, 2010
Yeah, good episode, not good finale.
It was too simple!
Doctor: “Lets stop the cracks by creeating Big Bang-2!”
It wasnt personal to the doctor,
It should be. One Dalek as the enamy in the finale epiosode…
I think thats a new low.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 27th, 2010

and why don’t you watch it on iplayer? It was amazing
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
Prior to Amy remembering, did the half-doctor exist?
Imagine this scene:
Rose. In the alternate universe, at the moment that the Tardis materialized at the wedding: Oh yeah, now I remember you; you are the half-doctor. I was wondering who the hell you were and why were you living in my house!
Posted by: kody June 27th, 2010
Really disapointed i was looking forward to what looked like a great ending but i was left dissapointed BRING BACK RUSSELL at least he could write a good ending
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 27th, 2010
Ok i think it is obvious the identity of the voice was never going to be revealed, not lazy writing, instead it is moffat doing somthing RTD never did, actually carrying on story lines from one season to the next, whoever the voice is (and my guess is still omega) it obv needs more then just a 5 min explanation, and oh lets seal the cracks and save the universe as well.
If you watched confidential moffat explained all the time jumping stuff by stating that as time was unraveling, and history being re written (look again at the animals in the museum, nile penguins, polar bears from I think africa, or somewhere) the dr could jump around time, the rules no longer counted. It still gives the headache of how did rory get the dr out for him to go back in time to give rory the screwdriver, but that is kind of writers perogative in sci fi time travel story’s, yes it is a bit of a cop out, well ok a lot of a cop out but lets give moffat the benifit of the doubt.
there is the question of what has and hasn’t happened, My assumption is that everything in the series happened, he cracks in time e.t.c, the dr has sealed them which meant they have gone, but anything they caused to happen happened. What amy was able to do, by remembering her family e.t.c was anchor them in time and stop them from never existing. If she hadn’t remembered them then they would have never existed still, rory would still be dead.
As an ending to a series got to say better then the first series, sorry but the whole bad wolf thing really was a bit rubbish, didn’t actually achieve anything rose would still have tried getting into te tardis, would have absorbed the time vortex e.t.c without the words being scattered through time.
Yes it wasnt the exciting fast paced, dont have to think about it ending, but I like that, it sets things up nicely for the next series, there is still a big bad guy out there to fight.
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
Was it Amy or the Doctor who brought Rory back?
When Rory came back, he was an Auton, so wouldn’t it be funny if all those brought back aren’t what they appear to be? Maybe the show could do a cross-over with the Syfy network and the Doctor is actually a Cylon! LOL!!!! (I’d bet you immediately see increased ratings from all the Battlestar Galactica fans)

Here I go again…
Back in 102 AD, after Rory freed the doctor, why didn’t the light from the Pandorica restore the stone Daleks and Cybermen there?
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
Quick question…
In The Big Bang, pause it at 04:01 min.; is that the door that prisoner 0 hid behind for all those yrs? Should that door still be there? Is it a production error?
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
I have to stop thinking about the time paradox because my head will literally explode!!!
To change the subject, I saw in a “Who is River Song” thread on another forum that someone has suggested that seeing she is originally from the 51st century, that she may have created the time agents, such as Jack Harkness. Another posted even suggested that she may be the reason behind Capt. Jack’s missing 2 yrs.
Any thoughts or comments???
Posted by: PETER June 27th, 2010
But if the Dr. never existed the timelords never sent him to skaro to prevent the creation of the daleks and the daleks never found out about it and so never started the time war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God it would drive you nuts.
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
Before I get flamed, just let me preface this by saying that I overall liked season 5, but I was just expecting more from the finale. Maybe because the strongest jail in the universe opened with just a wave of a magic wand; maybe because the ending was just too cute and sitcom-ish; maybe because there was no face-off with the big bad behind the silence? I just don’t know…
Now for the nit-picking…
I am confused regarding the time paradox:
Ditto for Hungry Earth; are those creatures planning an attack on human civilization? Etc, etc.
1) If everything was reset, then there was no crack
2) If there was no crack, then the doctor never visited Amelia
3) If he never visited Amelia, then he never returned for grown-up Amy
4) I know people are saying that because Amy lived with the crack so long that her mind is special, but still if the crack did not exist, then the above did not happen.
5) Does that also mean that all the traveling that Amy and the Doctor did never happened and only the Doctor and Amy can remember it?
6) If they never traveled together in this reality, then in The Beast Below, are people still disappearing and does Liz 10 even remembers that she is the queen?
7) Ditto for The Time of Angels. If Amy & Doctor were never there, are the weeping angels regenerated and destroying that planet?
Here’s something else to think about…
Prior to Amy’s remembering the Doctor, the Doctor did not exist in this reality, so the Time Lords would no longer be time-locked and the Time War would still be raging. Seeing that the Time Lords would have remembered everything, including the Doctor sealing them in that time-lock, wouldn’t they have gotten to Amy long before she could have remembered the doctor???!!!

Rachel MC—- The whole 5th season was amamzing, not the last episode Big bang.
But the Master was an amazing villian, what amazing villain has there bean at this season finale? None.
SEASON 1: Emperor Of Daleks
SEASON 2: Cybus Cybermen
SEASON 3: THE Master
SEASON 4: Davros
SEASON 5: ….em…A crack? Nice crack but..were’s the big villain?
The master episodes where full of action and amazment.
Posted by: Nigel M June 27th, 2010
Sorry but NUL POINTS. It started well but once the titles rolled, apart from the “Honey I’m home” line, this was awful. The plot had more holes in it than a gorgonzola cheese, too many easy-way-outs and too many unexplained events. I was expecting much, much better after “The Pandorica Opens”.
Posted by: PETER June 27th, 2010
After watching each episode of this season at least twice I’d give the full season 99.9% out of 100, the only downer for me being the new daleks from “Victory of the daleks” the episode itself was good I liked it, I’m just not keen on the new daleks. The big bang was a great episode to watch and to finish the season on, well done all concerned
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 27th, 2010
@ Timelord_Davros- I thought this series has been brilliant, and anyway, didn’t “the sound of drums” take a bit of an easy way out too? I love Doctor who but at the end of the sound of drums they went with a similar “it never happened…” ending. Just a thought, but I loved both finales anyway, despite the easy way out endings
Posted by: Hector Sadler June 27th, 2010
I’ve seen them all
or almost ? :0. But I will be certain to see all. Well I hope the last episode of the season be good.
Posted by: TimeLord_Davros June 27th, 2010
And alot of people have just proven its a bad episode becuase If an episode needs explained by others than the episode wasn’t clear enough.
Posted by: TimeLord_Davros June 27th, 2010
yes, I did listen to what the doctor said in the episode.
Wow! He just answered the mystery of the coat!
……
What About the strange creature that destroyed the Tardis? And there was nothing showing that the universe was being destroyed, just no stars and stone Daleks.
I am a major Sci-Fi fan lol and I didn’t expect Steven Moffat to take the easy way out.
Compared to The sound of Drums and the other finals this seaed more justlike a normal episode than a final.
Posted by: Bewildered June 27th, 2010
Dear Confused,
Yeah, that got me too. He didn’t start that loop in any way. He just rolled with it. The only thing that makes sense is the Universe playing a game of “what if”, and choosing to keep the results. I enjoyed the episode despite the deus ex machina.
“I am really liking the character of River. The Darlek was actually intimidated by River…WTF! Who is she???”
More importantly, she enjoyed intimidating the Dalek. I think the next time we meet her, she will “kill a good man”. After all, that’s when everything changes.
Oh, and why didn’t they address the second set of stairs in the two story house? I figured it had to be addressed this episode! Amy’s family has been remembered back into existance… but somebody uninvited has come for dinner…
Posted by: Confused June 27th, 2010
Am I missing something or confused by all the time travelling actions in the last episode? My confusion was that when the doctor was locked in the Pandorica to the point when he was rescued by Roy. My understanding was that he was locked in the box with no means of escape till Roy open the box for him. But if we cut out the middle man (ie. Roy using the sonic screw driver the doctor gave him), somehow the doctor just rescued himself without being out of Pandorica in the first place. The scene just playing in a loop in my mind and it stuck. VERY confusing.

oh my daze, i knew it would explode!
if there will be a better episode i am yet to see it
Posted by: Paddy June 27th, 2010
Just like to clear up a few things that other people have said
somebody said there was no mention of the alliance but the alliance was made so to stop the doctor from destroying the universe but since he stopped the cracks from ever happening the alliance was never made
some guy seemed annoyed that there was another finale with daleks but if there wernt any then there would be ppl complaining about that aswell and anyway they were used well
for the ppl who complained about the identity of “the silence” not being revealed I don’t see the problem as that way there’s a good basis for the next series as there is an interesting storyline to continue with rather than having to start up a whole new build up as we are already familiar with this one and since the new series is still being written they can make it even better by listening to viewers feedback and suggestions
what was wrong with the ending aswell?? It was good and funny
it’s not all about action there’s a different side to it aswell
also for the people who still can’t understand it here’s the story in simple terms
first of all u have to understand that there are different time streams think of how there wer 2 doctors in the musuem the one who appeared shot was a doctor from a future timestream an the doctor we were following was a past timestream to the one who was shot try and understand that first of all
when the explosion happened in one of the future timestreams it sent cracks through all space and time including the past timestreams so it was the cracks that were formed by the explosion in his present that affected his past time stream which was what ultimately lead him to the moment of the explosion where he was in 1020ad and the tardis was in 2010 ( on that point some of u may wonder why if the explosion was in 2010 why silence also fell in 1020ad this was because the explosion erased the existence of everything so it ceased to exist in all times so that’s why say even though river song n the tardis were in 2010 n the doctor was in 1020 the stars went out simultaneously in all times)
therefore the doctor restored the universe rewriting time and erasing all events of the explosion and cracks from existence although as provevnin previous episodes although they were gone permanently they could be remembered as amy Rory and the doctor knew about then still once they brought him back after the doctor had successfully planted a memory so he could come back
since this never happened the person or thing that was responsible for making silence fall is still out there although it is likely that this being will be able to remember the events as it was he she or it that caused them
and if anyone thinks the doctor could go back to one of the cracks he previously saw to investigate then no because they never existed as he restored the universe to the way it was including the tardis so it never blew up so the cracks never existed so all of the past timestreams were changed as a result and that’s y everyone woke up were they ought to be instead of just continuing on
the doctor , once sealed out of the universe knew that amy would remember him and bring him back using the power she gained from being exposed to the crack in her Walls time energy for so many years
one last point I will make is that someone reading the above paragraph will say how did she gain the power from the crack if it never existed which would be a valid question except fr when the doctor defeated the master on the valiant with martha jones he told her mum tht they could remember it because they were in the eye of it which is what the doctor said when earth was the last piece of reality about to collapse so that’s why she retained the power and that’s also why she was able to remember the doctors message as he said nothing is ever truly forgotten
I know that whole thing makes me seem like I have no life but really I do I have a broken leg so can’t do anything else and also in extremely bored lol
hoped it helped u to understand
everything I said is techinically true so think about it a few times n ul understand

:`(, now we have to wait for christmas for doctor who i’m sad, this time there’s no torchwood this year – i argee with RTD of having 20 episodes instead of 13 but that was his fault. but there is sja with the doctor but there are still the summer months left. i guess the adventure games could cure for the weekly apisode in the summer. :l

Somtimes you just need to except it for what it is …Sci-fi If you pull it appart, you will never enjoy it. On the other hand..lets hope that it never becomes so complex that all you are left with is just questions…tangles….confusion…total impossibilities. OR become so predictable and boring. right now its in the medium …a bit fabrication with some hints with plusable out comes. Its a beautiful series that is the oldest running sci-fi on television. and I hope it cont. for another 45yrs. for my daughter’s children to enjoy. there will always be unanswered questions and loop holes. It’s a lovely story …let it be..

YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH !!!!
Brilliant!!!
Genuis… I hope he continues to wow us in every epy!! No one could have ever guessed what was going to happen in this 13 th epy ..My daughter said it was like trying to guess the #’s to a combination lock. So many variations- possibilities . Complex yes I like complex. Can’t wait till the next epy!!! <:0
was hopimg to God it wasn’t some shamy crap. It’s all a dream “Got you”
and as far as river… well we don’t know if she is married to the dr. Maybe masters is her husband. We havn’t seen the last of her thats for certain!! And the doctor…liar Liar.. he did read her book, how else did he know the words were coming back!! So its possible he has an idea what will happen ..somewhat( words still appearing in book which is why he asks her “are you married” )Or could I be wrong? It SUCKS to wait sooooo looooong for the next epy.:( It’s not fair!!! Mofat…what a writter

“Big Bang” was one of the best Dr Who episodes ever. Superbly complex plotting, great emotional scenes, brilliant acting, so many unexpected twists, incredible the way it pulled together so many incidents and themes from across the whole of series 5. I loved it. It was even better when watched for a second time. Best series finale ever, a really satisfying conclusion.
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
**SPOILER ALERT** **SPOILER ALERT**
Scene: The Doctor suddenly materializes on the exploding Tardis
The Doctor: “Hi Honey. I’m home.”
River looks at her watch: “And what sort of time do you call this?”
(for me, the best one-liner of this episode”
I am really liking the character of River. The Darlek was actually intimidated by River…WTF! Who is she??? It looks like she will be reappearing in next season, yea!!!
Posted by: B-Me June 27th, 2010
Kind of “Field of Dream”ish…”If you build it, they will come” BUT in the case of Amy; if you remember it, it will come back.
I liked the first half, but the end lacked something…I dunno…
Posted by: B-Me June 26th, 2010
Well, I’m disappointed. It was not a reset button, but a reset none the less. Although the universe was collapsing, it felt like a slower pace than last week’s episode. BTW…why did the Pandorica take so long to open last week but this week, all you have to do is touch it and it opens???!!!
Posted by: Fish June 26th, 2010
It annoyed me that after all that speculation we STILL dont know who took over the tardis! And i thought that river had the wrist time strap thing. how did the doctor get it? and yeh i agree i think this is probably the worst finale since the shows revival. It was left on a massive cliffhanger in ep 12 but it didnt seem to continue in adrenaline in 13…
Posted by: I_HATE_CYBERMEN June 26th, 2010
When she was crying it was because she was remembering the Doctor and thats what brought him back member he sed if you remember something it can come back

Brilliant series and now the Christmas Special and the next series continuing with the cracks in time a mystery yet to be solved
Posted by: Doctor_Davros June 26th, 2010
Im absolutly obsessed with Doctor who, always have been and always will be, but that was a very dissapointing ending to series 5, the worst series fanale since it has come back on T.V, I was expecting the “The Big Bang” to mean what it said and be the best explosive ending ever but it just boring from start to finish,
very disapointed Doctor Who team, VERY disapointed….still now its time to look forward to Christmas, bring on the Christmas Special!!!
Posted by: Mr. Saxon June 26th, 2010
This series overall has been great! Matt has followed David’s Doctor brilliantly and Karen as Amy was superb. My only flaws were that most episodes I didn’t understand because of quick dialogue, epescially in this episode, and I’m not keen on Rory much, quite annoying. And I was dissapointed because The Big Bang was not as dramatic or emotional as The Pandorica Opens was. And I’m also getting bored of Daleks in every finale!
But I’m looking to Christmas and next year! Just who or what is River Song and the ‘Silence’?
Posted by: Evie June 26th, 2010
That was a very good episode,
most of the complaints on here are from people who haven’t watched the episode properly – a lot of the things the doctor said actually cleared up some of the issues people have made about the episode.
I love the fact that it explained the jacket!
Posted by: alex June 26th, 2010

i want russel t davis back
Posted by: doctorwhoo2 June 26th, 2010
That was one of the BEST EPISODES EVER!
Far better than any of the Russell T Davies finales. It was so complex yet made so much sense at the end.
I loved it
Posted by: TimeLord_Davros June 26th, 2010
Well….WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST WATCH???
Answered quesions: Zero.
Firstly, no dramatic ending that shocks you, just the doctor dancing pefetically and Amy smiling about nothing!
Then this hidden voice was not revealed due to lazy writting.
The figure inside Amies house wasnt revealed.
And there was nothin said of the allience.
Shocking.
I thought Steves writting was amazing throughout this season but this last episode just ruined the whole thing.
The pandorica opens was amazing mysterious and deep inside i knew nothing could match to it.
But this was shockin. compared to master, Davros , Emperor of Daleks and Cyber war, this big bang was nothing.
Sorry, but it is the truth.
Apart from that is was watchable and enjoyable but lack of answers.

Wow! I know there are a lot of negative comments here but I thought that was amazing, even if my dad did talk ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT- argh! It was pretty complex but not too much I didnt think- the end of time, where David Tennant left the show, was probably a bit too complex- i got it, but the people watching it with me kept asking me to explain what was happening. All in all, an amzing series, I for one cannot wait until Christmas (I might start my advent calender now
)

darren the dr said that the tardis and himself would be trapped the other side of the crack. My guess is that Amy, having grown up by the crack, is somehow connected to the energy that makes the crack, therefore she can act as an ancohor that the dr can lock onto to allow him to get back from the other side.
Rory is now human, everything that happened as a result of the cracks never happened, the only reason amy can remember him is because of the reasons above.

Well your all very lucky to have seen it as we had an aerial installer who was changing our aerial to get better reception but when he left we had no reception at all,nil nothing that was at 6.30 so i missed it all.
not only that but no signal – no recording i cant even watch it now
Posted by: pc June 26th, 2010
Compared to previous series this one was not up to what we have come to expect, ok budget wise it has been made a little cheaper this year but that’s no excuse!
the suspense has been sadly lacking to what we have had in the past and i think steve moffet and the other writers need to do better next time!
One thing that i am puzzled about is that when the pandorica was flown into the explosion it was supposed to restore history in which case how much and how far back?
on the whole a good episode but could have been better
Posted by: Creedence June 26th, 2010
still thinking about the lodger ep
Posted by: Callum Metcalfe June 26th, 2010
I thought it was really good but when does river return she said she’ll see him very soon,I wonder if he marries her? Aswell Rory must be in Xmas special and maybe in series 6
Posted by: Dai June 26th, 2010
That was utter rubbish. What a quaint ending, how sweet lol.
I mean really, the Dr is entirely erased from history, and Amy Pond remembers someone who does not exist?
I know this is science-fiction, but come on, that episode was not even credible.
The BBC have ruined what once WAS a decent corner stone of British Sci-Fi Television. It wasn’t even credible as a kids TV show tonight.
If you disagree with I do not care, you evidently have no idea of decent writing.
Bye, bye Dr Who, this programme is now off my viewing list for good.
utter rubbish.

It said: “As the Pandorica Opens – Silence will fall.
There was NO Silennce????
That voice in “The Pandorica Opens” sounded like Davros and hhe said: ” Silence will fall”.
Posted by: I_HATE_CYBERMEN June 26th, 2010
i dont see the point in Omega coming back what exactly will he do
Posted by: Darren June 26th, 2010
It made no sense. The Doctor was removed from reality so how did crying about him bring him back. There is a difference between a complex and rewarding plot and just throwing a happy ending that makes no sense.
Unresolved issues:
Is Rory still made out of plastic?
How did remembering the Doctor make the Tardis not be damaged in the explosion?
Did the Pandorica not seriously damage time resulting in a complete re-format of modern history let alone Amy pond or Rory not being born in the first place?
How would the Tardis exploding cause that; its just a conduit for the time stream (thing, it was mentioned at the end of New S1 finale).
Come on the writing for this series has been bellow standard from the start. It is nothing to do with the shows new lower budget its just been incredibly badly written not taking into consideration any of the past Lore of the series.

Does this mean that all of series five didnt happen and are just memories
of the Doctor an Co. if this is true Thats quite a BUMMER! but still cool adventures
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 26th, 2010
Well that was good, sets it all up for next season, looks like omega will be the big bad guy next year

It is true about the Doctor going back to tell Amy she must remember whenhe goes away with no jacket and he returns with a jacket but doeant
Posted by: Anonymous June 26th, 2010
there is always a xmas day episode of dr who so there will be an episode on xmas day, no idea when you will get it in the states.
On another point something we haven’t cottoned onto, prisoner 0 says the pandorical has opened, silence will fall. Now you could argue that at the end of the pandorical the pandorical has been shut, with the dr inside so maybe this isnt the event 0 is refering to.
Also if young amy is meant to open the pandorical, if it is the dr or amy in it doesn’t matter, she should remember something as monumental as that event, so I think this is the event she has to remember.

iam so excited….just one more day to go and we will have our answers!!!! \Or at least most of them. They do have to save some for the up comming epsoids. I heard the next epy after big bang will air in Dec.. Is this true? Most epys(being american origin) end in June-July and pick up in Sept-Oct. I wish they would have a Doctor Who convention here in the states!! Love to be there!!
. I hope they do an epy in New York. Maybe I’ll have a chance to catch them filming. Love the new characters…doctor amy…rory etc. Hope everybody stays with their 5 yr. contract!!
Posted by: Anonymous June 25th, 2010
I always figured that back in “Time of Angels” the doctor wasn’t saying that time could be changed. He meant literally that time was being erased and had to be restored. I somewhat believe that all the events and objects that have fallen through the cracks will return in “The Big Bang”.
Posted by: R’T June 25th, 2010
jst think about it, only 1 more day to go:D
less than 24 hours actually:D

@ Richard, you know…you are correct. I keep forgetting that point and I keep forgetting that she has the ability to time travel (via the vortex manipulator). But if she is already in jail, then she has already killed someone (but it’s in the future – year 5145…but still her past). My head hurts again…I’m going to lie down now.
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 24th, 2010
just a quick point, in pandorica river is imprisoned in storm cage, so apparently has killed the person.
Posted by: B-Me June 24th, 2010
Regarding River and her constantly saying “spoilers”…back when she had met the Doctor (David Tennent) in Silence in the Library, she was meeting him at the end of her lifetime, but it was the first time the Doctor had met her. She stated that she had book (history of the two of them) however she stated that she and a future Doctor (the one whom she presumably married) had agreed not to reveal anything they had not yet experienced in their respective timeline.
For example, at the end of Flesh and Stone, River knew what was going to happen in The Pandorica Opens but she could not reveal any “spoilers” to the Doctor because he had yet to experience it.
Also, in the Pandorica Opens, River had not yet killed someone, been imprisoned or experienced The Time of Angels & Flesh and Stone, so when Amy tries to tell her what she had told the Doctor at the end of Flesh and Stone, River stopped her “spoilers”.
Just my opinion.
Posted by: booboo June 24th, 2010
Steven Moffat is aware fans go looking for spoilers ( like here ) and its his little dig at them hence “shhhhhh no spoilers” he doesn’t like he story lines being given away
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
EHH I DONT GET IT
Posted by: booboo June 24th, 2010
Its SM’s little dig at fans always looking for spoilers
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
why does she always say spolierrs i dont get it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
what i am really puzzled about, is why does river song always say spoilers is the doctors real name or summit
Posted by: booboo June 24th, 2010
I noticed the stairs, thought it might be to an attic room but they seem grand for that, production oversight – I doubt it.
I think the entire ledworth setup is faked (and there is something odd about that scene with Patrick Moore)
Posted by: IWasBored! June 24th, 2010
Just so you know B-Me, the HP movie you were talking about was the Prisoner of Azkaban.
It would be good if the Doctor came out with “you jammy dodger” when Amy comes back alive (I know she does cos she’s doing series 6). I can imagine that. Even if he doesn’t, I’ll know I’ll be saying it.
Note: I don’t mean I’m gonna call Amy a biscuit, I mean like he’s relieved that she’s okay, so it’s like an alternative to Chris Ecc’s “Fantastic!” Mind you, Amy’s mortality is one of the most unwell kept spoilers in the entire Whoniverse. The website is acting like she’s dead for good, when Karen Gillan has already announced she’s doing series 6.
YOU JAMMY DODGER!
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 24th, 2010
OK have stumbled on this at this website http://lifetheuniverseandcombom.blogspot.com/2010/06/doctor-who-io9s-spoilers-for-big-bang.html
think it makes intresting reading
* The “Future Doctor” thing from ‘Flesh and Stone’ DOES happen, and has been confirmed by people who have seen the scripts.
* The Pandorica has a rather useful feature, in that it keeps you alive… forever. (Which is good, considering what just happened to Amy.)
* Amy has a very special brain because she grew up next to the crack for so long.
* Auton-Rory is responsible for releasing the Doctor, and Amy gets locked inside the Pandorica while the Doctor goes off to find the right “fuel” to bring her back to life, leaving Rory to guard the box. Stuff happens and Rory is left waiting a LONG TIME, hence the “love that lasts a thousand years.” He becomes “The Lone Centurion” and is spotted throughout time guarding the box. (and as some fans have pointed out, this actually makes him chronologically older than the Doctor now!)
* Rory doesn’t stay an Auton though, and he supposedly ends up human by the end.
* The TARDIS does explode, but it’s not how you think.
* There is a wedding at the end, and one person who has seen the episode says that the ending is cheesily reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz.
Finally, there are some pretty strong indications that Omega shows up at the end. (possibly played by Jason Isaacs, aka Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter films) He may not be a traditional big bad though, and it’s possible that his appearance is just a teaser for bigger events to occur in Series 6.
The main evidence in favor of the evil Time Lord’s return come from two independent posters on Gallifrey Base; one who claims to have seen some concept art, and another who says that he was shown a suit of black “armor” with big gauntlets labled as “Omega.” As for Jason Isaacs taking over the role, he was seen entering a closed door meeting with Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, and John Simm a few months back (after this episode was filmed, though). This led to much speculation that he could be taking over the role of the Master next year (or possibly just appearing in a future season of ‘Sherlock’, which Moffat and Gatiss also produce), but considering that another informant has teased that “a Harry Potter actor has a surprise role in the finale,” some of that speculation has shifted towards him possibly being Omega instead.
Posted by: R’T June 24th, 2010
in the 11th hour, when amy has the doctor tied up to the radiator, it looks like the stairs to the third floor stop at the roof
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 24th, 2010
as a point to note ian collier played omega previously in dr who, he is actually dead now so will have to see how they use him, possibly use his voice.
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 24th, 2010
well it looks like it is now official, IMDB lists ian collier as playing omega in the big bang, so he is the big bad guy. For those intrested look omega up on wikki and get his history.
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
There just aren’t enough leaks online are there?! argh! All I know is mainly speculation or stuff from the official website.
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
Sorry, it’s taking so long for this site to load because I have to refresh it to read new comments and its reeeeeaaaaallllllyyyyy slow! anyway, no, i can’t believe i’ve never managed to get to a proper exhibition. I mean, we went to this TV museum where they had a couple of daleks and an old cyberman but i haven’t been able to make it to a proper exhibition. I hear theyre amazing though- have you been?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
i no that the pnadorica ends up in a mueseuem and little amy goes to open it, and then somehow a dalek gets turned into stone
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 24th, 2010
the dr told amy in the last episode, the reason I came back for you is because your house is wrong to many room so it makes sense that it is a 2 floor house on the outside but has a 3rd floor inside.
Has anyone managed to find anything more online? have been looking up phil madoc to see if anyone has spilled anywhere what his role is, but nothing.
The statement the dr makes in flesh and stone about time being re written, maybe the cracks are an attempt to reverse the events of the time war and bring the time lords back although I doubt that moffat would rehash that story so soon after it had been done once.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
yeah defoooo!, i love doctor who too, it is like my everything, it is all i talk about! have you been to any of the exibitions
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
I <3 Doctor Who so much. Trying to find out what to fill the space inbetween series with though! We all have to come on here after the programme on Saturday and talk about it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
i no, every morning am like DOCTOR WHO IN 2 DAYSSSS
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
Yeh I agree with that, but I won’t mind so much if they manage a proper conclusion, or at least a satifying end on Saturday, which I think they will, as Moffat’s written it
Then again, the multiple themes and ideas are probably what make it so suspensful, don’t you think. They’ve ever had this much going on and I’ve never been so desparate for an episode :S
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
lmaoo i am on this all night, and all day waiting for people to say stuff, i just love talking about doctor who, i could talk for days
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
@ B-me, I thought Victory of The Daleks was prett poor in comparison to the others, which is wierd for me because the historical ones are usually my favourites. Wasn’t it a different writer though? Sorry about doing loads of commentsat once everybody by the way, I’ve been revising all day so I’ve had to put everything else on hold
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
there making it too much, like CRACKS, AMYTS MEMORIES, FAIRYTALES
like on the first doctor who it was just bad wolf nothing el s
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
And I thought maybe she didn’t know the Daleks because she maybe doesn’t actually exist, or she’s from a different universe, or she had her memory wiped…Those are my main three. It seems to me that she’s forgotten something that the Doctor needs her to remember, so maybe the Daleks got forgotten with that too?
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
Well, like I said, I don’t like the idea any more- it’s a bit more cbeebies than BBC1 isn’t it. I don’t think they’d go for FAIRYTALE fairytale, but a more Doctor Who-ish take on the theme.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
its getting to sound rather cheesyyy
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
Yes, fairytales are a strong link. I don’t know whether this is working on my computer, I just posted but it hasn’t come up with anything…hmmm… anyway yeah, it’s all been about fairytales and story’s. I did think maybe it would be like one of the cartoons and story’s Amelia wrote and made Rory act out with her but I don’t think I like that idea any more. Fairytales, rewriting time and remembering things keep cropping up…and bowties lol
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
Wow you’re right about the three-floors thing
well done. I know they’ll be leaving some cliffhangers at the end of this next episode but I hope not too many- I don’t know if I can last until Satuday let alone Christmas lol . I’ve nearly watched the whole series back now (in between GCSE revision!) and think I’ve maybe spotted some other things too but I’m going to check before I post them otherwise I’ll look like an idiot…

Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
lets re-cap and i have watched victory of the daleks, and its ok could of been better;
ep 1- amy pond name of a fairytale
ep 2- cant remember ( beast below)
ep 3- cant remember (victory of daleks)
ep 4- pandorica is just a fiarytale
ep 5- pandorica is just a fairytale
cant remember ant in the rest do you ?
Posted by: B-Me June 24th, 2010
@ Matt, did you just finish watching Victory of the Daleks? I still feel that it is the weakest episode of this season.
BTW…is it just me or have they mentioned dream or fairytale in every single episode? Is this intentional; say maybe, a clue to the finale?
Posted by: I_HATE_CYBERMEN June 24th, 2010
i think that the voice in the Tardis sounded a bit like an Angry Smiler or P0(prizoner 0) but I want all the Cybermen to die cause i hate them (hence the name) i want them to die die die die die!

OK…I probably need to schedule a psych appointment now???!!!
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
yesss, and like i have just watched the vincent one, and and 11th hour, ont he 11th hour, the prisinor 0 says silence will fall and the pandorica will open so maybe they made it cause, that big spaceship thing with the eye, said is it protected and it showed the doctor.. maybe they dont want ti protected :S
Posted by: B-Me June 24th, 2010
Okay. I have watched Flesh and Stone again and (to the person who mentioned it previously – good job) you are absolutely correct! Early on, the doctor loses his jacket and for the remainder of the episode, he is without it, EXCEPT for the scene when her goes back to Amy, when her eyes are closed. I that scene he is wearing his jacket (I never noticed it before).
It sort of reminds me of what Hermione was doing in one of the Harry Potter movies (don’t ask me which one, I’m not a big fan of HP).
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
i have just watched it and yes it has 3 floors but maybe it us just one of them house’s of maybe the doctor would have mentioned that. but the things is they did runpast it asif it wernt there
Posted by: B-Me June 24th, 2010
Here’s another thing to think about…
Watch The Eleventh Hour again, you will see by the exterior views that Amy/Amelia’s house is a 2-story, but the interior view is clearly a 3-story house. Am I wrong? Am I just losing my mind?
Posted by: R’T June 24th, 2010
but amy wasnt sleepin or in a coma but because of the psychic link it he managed to put her tae sleep
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh i get it now i was like whats going non
Posted by: B-Me June 24th, 2010
I have never been obsessed about going through and re-watching all of the previous episodes in prep for a finale before.
I see that I am not the only one too. I founf this very interesting and worth posting here; the following comment is from a member of Digital Spy’s DW forum,
“Something odd about Rory’s hospital ID Badge – look at this pic…
It says it was ‘issued’ on 30/11/1990
How can that be?? Thats 20 years ago…??
Thats more closer to his DOB surely??
any ideas??
check the pic out and lets hear your theories….

they were in comas, but prisoner 0 could take form of sumwan like the doctor or even amy because he done it before
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
i no i just checked it up but on sky the amount of percent it has took up means it is 2 hours long, its prob sky being dodgy!
right i think it has something to do with dreams aswell, cause like on the 11th hour, it was saying prisinor 0 changed into what people were dreaming
Posted by: R’T June 24th, 2010
eh episodes only a hour long apparently it says on the site

where is everyone today
?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
alot of people keep posting about, bringing david tennant back, well he has left to do theater i dont think he will come back.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 24th, 2010
where were the slitheen, it said they were in it, but they never showed
!
i think they made this episode to get use of the costumes,
but tbh all the characters must be rather stupid not to no there weakness’s by now like the slitheen if they attacked by vingar they blow up, well why cant they make them better they did with the cybermen, like letting them build themself back togther,
and the soltarnis, they must have been hit on the back of the head soo much they must have noticed it does something.
Posted by: Regeration SJC June 24th, 2010
…Pressure must of been on for the new DW producers to make series 5 climax to top David Tennants Christmas exit and also Tennants season 4 getting zapped by a dalek/ regeneration cliff hanger.
My bet is whatever transpires by the end of Saturday’s episode 13, will set the tone for the Christmas special and series 6. Moffat has always delivered the best and original scripted episodes from all of the series since 2005. So I’m expecting the not so obvious kind of ending that leaves a few unanswered questions…
Mind you, you get the feeling that this story could of been an excellent set-up to a special doctor who special where all the recent doctors are could have reunited to stop this alien alliance and save their 11th self from the box contraption which looks like a dentists chair from hell! Mind you there’s no chance of Christopher Eccleston reprising his 9th role, and I get the feeling David Tennant will return for a guest appearance in the future to boost ratings.
Unless its an evil version of the doctor whats behind all of this (like from the Trial of the Timelords storyline) or even the Master???
And where were the plastic wheelie bins from Episode ‘Rose’ in the alien alliance????

it could have been river song, but what does the doctor do to the pandorica
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 24th, 2010
I think that that’s true about River. Her story might not be as simple as we think but she doesn’t know about her future encounters with the Doctor, for example, in “Flesh and Stone”,which is, as I undrstand it, after “The Pandorica Opens” for her in a strict linear sense, even if it isn’t for Amy or the Doctor. I can’t make my mind up about River’s character either, as in whether I like her or not…hmmm…
That aside, I have to agree with the comment below. River might play a key part in Saturday’s episode but she isn’t as all-knowing as some people think.

why do people keep talking about river like she knows everything, rivers life runs in a straight line, birth to death, the dr appears at diffrent points in that line, he also ages, so river in this episode has no idea what is going on, or how it will end, now the fact that the dr has met her twice post pandorical shows that he will get out of this, and will solve it all, however there is the question of where is the diary, which suggests the diary might be post pandorical. So saying river must know the future cos she kills herself makes no sense, when she killed herself she knew all the great things the dr would do in his life. But that was river maybe a few years after the pandorical. At this point she knows only what he has done so far in her timeline,
now on the prisoner 0 voice part, william wilde did prisinor 0′s voice, he is not in the credits for the pandorica, or the big bang episodes.
If you look on IMDB there is a character list for the big bang http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1607759/. There is a character listed as the time lady played by joanna page, this is different to the actress playing amy’s aunt, so amy’s aunt is not the time lady. T his of course doesnt mean she isnt a time lady. van gough, churchill andliz 10 are also listed for the big bang. if davros was going to be in this episode it would have leaked, remember we all knew davros was coming back way before he did at the end of tennants episode. On wikipedia omega is listed as a character in the big bang hence which adds to the evidence he is the one behind it all.
Phillip madoc is also listed as appearing in this episode, for those who remember the old series he appeared as a baddie 4 times opposite troughton and baker, always a different character, but always a bad guy. This again suggests the main baddie will be a male character, which again points to omega. ok I dont think there is anything else I can dig up online at the mo, if anyone else can find somthing let us know, but I think the evidence is pointing to a big new bad guy coming, and like I say the hints point to either omega, or someone brand new.

i think the voice in the tardis is rassilon to have revenge or omega but more likely to be RASSILON HE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCCCCCCKKKKKKKKSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a think it might be river songs gun

dalek 101 do you have any idea how the daleks get turned into stone
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 23rd, 2010
i still think that tardis in the lodger was a daleks
Posted by: dalekship 101 June 23rd, 2010
In the pandorica opens, the daleks say the doctor has made the cracks in time and then they say only the doctor can pilot the tardis so the tardis might be creating the cracks.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 23rd, 2010
I WANT TO KNOW HOW THE DALEK GETS TURNED INTO STONE
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 23rd, 2010
there could be another way out, like what if they find out they arnt really making the cracks
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 23rd, 2010
well i sortaa no whats happening next weeek,
but like, i am still trying to work out what is in that crack in the tardis,
i do think it is prisinor 0 but people are syaing its davros, but its too eaerly to bring him back.
also i think it could have a big part with the daleks cause we think that the tardis in the lodger was a dalek tardis, and that tardis took over the doctors tardis, well also in this episode the tardis got took over by someone els, maybe its them ???
i always think that rory brings amy back, cause on a trailer rory was talking to amy saying please laugh please laugh, and the doctor did say if you rmemeber tings they can come back, soo maybe she comes back like that.
i also think river song transpprts in time to get diddy amy and then takes her to the muesuem, cause i think she knows what has happened, because she must no the futor because she kills her self when the doctor is david tennant.
Posted by: R’T June 23rd, 2010
theyl keep it eh same coz if they dont rewrite time then the cracks will stil b there and the universe will be gone
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 23rd, 2010
but time gets re-written at the end of every series, its boring i think with a new doctor they will make a new ending
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 23rd, 2010
the pandorical is built only for the dr the alliance said, and it isnt just about the prison itself, its about the whole plan to get the dr into it, and if the dr stops the tardis exploding then the cracks never happen and the pandorical never gets built. Remember in flesh and stone the dr nade a big point about time being able to be re-written, I imagine he is somehow going to re write time and take him amy and rory back to her house the day before the wedding, Possibly like the end of the martha season amy will remember it all because she was at the center or involved in it. He has already told her she remembers things differently to other people because she is a time traveler.

And yes, Creedence, I think they probably will keep it in the museum. Doctor Who is very fond of reminders, isn’t it
Posted by: Rachel Mc June 23rd, 2010
What’s everybody thinking about the video clip released today on the Doctor Who website? Not the finale trailer, but the video entitled “Clip from The Big Bang”, with Rory and Amy:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00sxfc7
It’s under a minute long but they’ve still managed to cram a bit of mystery into it: “I could do with a ridiculous miracle right now…”. (Cue music), so who, or what, is going to make an appearance there then? Will Amy wake up? Or maybe the Doctor will jump out of nowhere? Hmmm…not sure really. Of course, we’ve no evidence, really, that they’re actually in 120 AD…
Any thoughts, anybody? The suspense is driving me crazy!!!
Loving the crack on the home page by the way, it closes when you click on it- WOW!

yey i am actully happy the muesuem part is real and i wonder if that gun river song has turns them into stone aswell xx
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 22nd, 2010
my thinking about omega coming back is simply because he has been named in a couple of places in the internet as a character appearing in this series, we haven’t seen him yet, and so it makes sense if he is returning for him to be the being that is controlling the tardis. The fact that he was the original gallifreyan who created time travel suggests that he can control the tardis.
Good spot on the dr appearing in flesh and stone, have re watched it and your right, continuity mistakes like this don’t usually happen in dr who.
On the point about not brining back old enemies because people wouldnt understand them, the same could be said about any of the enemies brought back already, and rassilon was brought back.
I doubt we will find out who the man is that river song killed, but on the point about river not killing the dr because she kills herself while he is alive, she obviously killed the man before she met tennants dr and then died, if it is the dr she killed that could be a post matt smith dr, or it could be the set up for whenever it is matt smith hands in his bow tie we dont know how far ahead moffat has planned the story ark so assuming all loose ends will be tied up this sat is I think a bit preusmptious.
Anyway I am done with trying to guess the end, I like the idea of the dr being pissed on his release and Amy maybe needing to calm him down, much like donna did. Matt smiths dr hasnt had the big realisation of what kind of dr he is yet, in fact tenants yes found that no second chances streak early on, but grew throughout the series. I feel smith hasnt shown that defining thing yet, so I am asusming that will come in this episode, we will see just what kind of dr smith is, a lover a fighter, a coward, funny scary e.t.c.

Argh! I just typed out a whole comment and my computer crashed on me, so I’m starting again…here goes:
WOW!!! I actually cannot wait for 26/06/2010- I don’t think any Doctor Who episode has ever left me in such suspense, and that’s saying something. I’ve read all of the comments on this thread (a lot of people have A LOT to say about this, don’t they) so this is a general reply with some of my own ideas and theories.
First of all, I do not believe that this Saturday’s episode will see the return of The Rani or any similar old-series characters, not because they are out of date, as such, but because I don’t think that a lot of the modern audience will understand the characters fully. Better, I think, to stick to a more recent character or introduce a new one, than presume that the viewers are all up-to-speed on the characters of old. I know that a lot of the audience, including myself, have only been alive through the years of Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and, now, Matt Smith, so that’s probably not likely.
I would definitely like to see more in the way of Amy being in control of the situation. It’s highly unlikely, to my mind, that Amy has actually died, or, if she has, that she cannot be brought back in some way. I really hope that this reputed museum story line is going ahead because that sounds lovely, especially because it will take place in at least two places along Amy’s timeline. I did think that Amy could have been created, either by the Doctor and his friends or by the enemy, so that she is not actually a real person in the sense that other companions have been real. I’m not saying she’s an auton like Rory’s reincarnation, but perhaps that she lives to serve a very specific Pandorica-related purpose, such as opening it. This seems likely as the story is based on her favourite things. Also it could be that her life was altered by aliens in more ways than one. We know that, as a child, she met the Doctor and had a crack in her bedroom wall, but the empty rooms the Doctor picked up on in episode 12 could be the remnants of lives he was talking about. Just like the ring, they could be an indication of other people, a whole family, that were wiped out of existence and left only small traces behind.
In “Flesh and Stone”, there was one moment where the Doctor left Amy in the clearing with her eyes closed, then he came back and told her that she had to remember what he had told her in her childhood. But SHE had to remember, he couldn’t tell her. Then he left again. The subtle significance is that the man who came back had his jacket on, unlike the man who left the clearing with river; his jacket was left with the angels, and he doesn’t have it on in later scenes. Therefore I think it’s possible that this “version” of the Doctor is from the future/another timeline or something similar, coming back to prompt her memory. They don’t speak of the incident again and Amy has her eyes closed, so it’s possible that another version could have come back and everybody presumed it was the same man. OR it could be a continuity error, but that’s not very Doctor Who, is it?
There’s been a lot of speculation here about the man that River Song kills, though we can’t be sure that she’ll kill them this episode. Rory’s lovely but I don’t think that he’s quite the best man that River has ever known, so unless he does something especially heroic in “The Big Bang”, I don’t think it will be him. At the same time, I don’t think it will be the Doctor, or if it is, it won’t be that simple; come on, this is Doctor Who, after all!
Finally I don’t think that Moffat will have gone with an “it was all a dream…” scenario, or at least not one as basic as that. Don’t get me wrong, they CAN work, just look at “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, “The Wizard of Oz”, or even “Amy’s Choice”, but for the big finale, it’s usually some spectacularly complicated plot that, let’s face it, none of us are going to guess. However, I do think it possible that we will see the return of the Dream Lord. At the end of “Amy’s Choice” the Doctor saw the Dream Lord in his reflection. As a part of the episode, it could simply show that the Doctor knows, and is afraid of, his darker side, but we could see this darkness manifest itself. Certainly, the situation he finds himself in now, at the end of “The Pandorica Opens” is a bit dream-like, with respect to its profound links to Rory, Amy, and himself. Alternatively, the darker side could win over after a long and maddening time spent imprisoned in the box. After all, as the Doctor tells Amy in the first episode, “I am definitely a mad man with a box”
Sorry, I know I’m rambling, but I think I’m driving my family mad with all of my spontaneous speculations so I thought I’d take my ideas somewhere else
Oh, and I know I said finally, but I read somewhere here that this series isn’t up to scratch because of the loose ends presented by the episodes. Personally, I think that this has been one of the best series so far, and for that very reason. The clever thing about this kind of writing is that the loose ends act as clues, or red-herrings, which, when brought together in a two-part finale, drive the viewers mad with curiosity. I’m sure I can’t be the only one watching the series back for clues
x

as far as i’m aware R’T the colour of a Dalek has no bearing on its rank in the Dalek Empire they have always seemed to been totaly random,
funny enough a gd example was “The Cult Of Skaro”
they had to be quite high in the ranks and they were each a different colour

anyone know the meanin of the yellow dalek?

I still got my heart set these events causes the tardis to blow, locking him up (making him dout his self lose his mind) slowly going mad planning wantting venarange…he knows the allaince will be in the earth astomostphere on amys wedding days who knows why…Obv to make sure the tardis dont blow( if there no timelord no tardis blowing up ) but what if thats wrong what if ( if there no timelord on a rampage wanting to reveange on thos who imprisson him what if the easyest way to take them all out in one go all them ships ) ofc he wont go in one by one and sabortage he will do a rose and take them all out all at once maybe flying in space and detornating it to wipe them out. ofc HE IS look at david tennet both times his debut and when his hand grew look at him when he flew the tardis at the darlek fleet(chris) look at the master when he died and got brought back off the ring (off his rockker) we no the timelords are ill tempeted and we no what the doctor is capable off…
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
just readin that makes my head hurt lol if the cracks did not happen then no episode would have happened as amy would not be there, the doctor would probs be dead at the time of angels and flesh and stone, there would be no crack to absorb the angels so there would be no way to get out alive and stop the angels. does anyone know what the yellow dalek might be also? i think it might be like a negotiater since the aliance has been formed
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
i like your thinking Richard but ponder on this its been confirmed by The Daleks (who in my fav ep “Victory of the Daleks used deception as there main attack) that the Tardis caused the “Cracks in Time” so isn’t it possible that they could be lieing again to there own gain
and also the Progenator from the same Ep “Victory of the Daleks” it was stated that “thousands were made one remains” by the inferior Daleks, couldn’t it be possible that the advanced Daleks found another Progenator with Davros’s DNA and revived the Doctors greatest foe
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 22nd, 2010
OK onto this episode, in answer to various queries, the alliance state that they have scanned, planned, probed and worked out all eventualities to get the dr here to this point. They they think they know the dr causes the destruction of the universe, they also know that he wont just come to the pandorical on his own accord. So everything that has happened this series has been manipulated to some extent to bring the dr here. When prisoner 0 taunted the dr saying silence will come, she knew the tardis and therefore the dr caused the crack. She also knew the crack would signify the end of the universe, the fact that her jailers are there in the alliance shows that they knew this. It is even possible 0 was allowed to escape to give the dr his first “clue” the tardis above the flat may or may not be dalek origin, the daleks have made there own tardis’s in the past, the chase is one example (a very old episode) however the daleks are also now ale to move in time without a ship, the cult of skaro transported themselves back in time to new york without a ship. It may explain how some of the other races went back in time to ancient England.
The alliance obviously have manipulated van gough (to paint the pic with coordinates and date) made sure it was found and taken to churchill, then made sure liz 10 eventually keeps it. And also enabled churchill to contact song, the one person they knew would be able to get the dr to come. So the being that speaks in the tardis is not any of the enemies we have seen already. Instead it is the being that manipulated the alliance to ensure the dr is imprisoned so the tardis can be blown up. If there is no explosion, there are no cracks, dr does not meet amy, rory or any of the rest, 0 does not escape, the atraxey do not attack earth, beast below could still happen, daleks could still happen, venice wouldn’t, angels would have had to have been beaten a very different way, um someone else can continue analysing how the episodes would be different if the tardis doesn’t explode.
But basically a being needs to be able to see all of that, understand it see how it all links together to get the dr to the pandorical. But if the universe explodes and earth explodes, amy never existed so the dr never found the crack. This is why amy is the key, if amy had not gone of traveling with the dr, or had married rory and allowed that day to continue then the dr would never have met van gough. so the explosion never happens.
Ok am thinking aloud now. So my prediciton, some great powerful being poss omega is behind it all, pulling all the strings making things reach this circular finale of dr gets imprisoned for destroying the universe, therefore universe is destroyed. Amy obs plays a big part in undoing this, dont think it is anything as simple as freeing the dr, possibly it involves her doing something to break the cycle, almost like donna killing herself to save her future self. ok my head hurts and I am very tired, if any of this makes sense I will be very amazed. thanks for reading
Richard

http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/The_Other here we go the details of the other, and how he is prob the dr
Posted by: Richard Cariven June 22nd, 2010
steven D, looking for the quote now, but there is an explanation that the DR is a reincarnation of the 3rd timelord that, with rassilon and Omega gave the gallifreyans there timelord tech e.t.c. As rassilon became more and more power hungry after Omegas “death” he threw himself into the time vortex, he then was reincarnated later in time as the dr. Like I say looking for the exact place I read that, think it is based on a load of the novels that where released post mccoy,
On a second point, to those of you that keep quoting the one thing you don’t put in a trap is the dr, and he then fires a gun, that was at the end of the 1st angels episode where they where under the ship.
It makes no sense for river song to be the rani, or the dr, it makes more sense for it to be as it is, the dr meets her at diferent times in his life, eventually she will become his companion, and poss wife. The greatest man she ever knew and killed, the DR, maybe not this dr remember when she saw tennants dr she wasnt surprised he looked different, and obv was the only time she ever met that incarnation, hence why she at first thought he was alot older, then she realised this was the first time she met him. So you can believe that at some point in his future there will come a time when she has to kill him. I cant believe that time is now, as she has to marry him e.t.c. The fact that the first time he met her she dies suggests that maybe they go full circle, and the first time she meets him she has to kill him.

just one thing R’T if you look down this list properly it was me that theorised the Dalek Tardis lol
Night Night Mate

mibi it isnt that tardis that blows up, people were talkin about the ‘dalek tardis’ from the lodger being in the final episode so mibi it could be that 1 that blows up
anyway am away to my bed so al try and think of some theorys for tomorrow:)
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
well said R.T the Tardis is definetly the Doctors Life Partner lol
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
the tardis realy is the doctors companion, it realy is like a wife to him lol
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
can i just say that the Tardis is the essence of the hole DW series i’m talkin all 11 Doctors here so to even imagine that the Tardis would stay destroyed is just foolish it just wouldn’t be DW anymore
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
owens88 r u talkin about the 11th hour? and i dont think the bbc would get rid of a brand new tardis just one series with it, the other one lasted 4 before they got a new 1, but it would also take out the fun of the tardis and it wouldnt realy leave it open for a companion to travel with him
Posted by: owens88 June 22nd, 2010
In the new Doctor’s opening episode he threw in a comment along the lines of ‘ there, I’ve solved the problem. No Tardis, just me.’
So perhaps the future is without tardis just a ‘device’ like Jack’s or the one River acquired (Jack’s ?).
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
good point, haven’t realy seen it in a while so cant remember too much from it, but it is as if river knows too much, a do think the tardis will blow up and that is how the cracks happen over the universe and it also explains y there is time energy leakin out of the cracks
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
if you think tho Tennants Doctor did call Yana a Genius because of the development of the organic circuts and propulsion system
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
waas a good idea but, n what a said is just my opinion mibi she could b a different type of timelady actually, not the same as the doctor as if she has come from a more present time ie, not as old as the doctor
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
dont think so coz if u look back at that episode, he wasn’t as intelligant as river is, a think river might become a companion later but a cant realy c her being a timelady
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
one theory i had R.T was the possibility of River actually beeing The Rani but not knowing like Prof Yana being The Master
would explain her intellegence
wot do you think?
Posted by: R’T June 22nd, 2010
suppose when ye put it like that but the way they ended that episode it was as if it was over and done with, n a only started watchin dw sinec it re-aired in 2005 so tryin to read back on people such as omega n the rani is quite interestin, thinkin of how they could b brought back into if it possible
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 22nd, 2010
But if you think about it R.T couldn’t the Doctor finding the particles at the end of the Dreamlord ep be an illusion conjoured up by the Dreamlord himself,
i personally think it would be cool if the Dreamlord was infact a manifistation of The Trickster not sure how they would explain it but it would be cool

some of these ideas r brilliant btw, just dont think its got sumthin to do with the dreamlord, as people were sayin with davros, it would b too early to bring him back into it but i feel u cant realy get another show with the dreamlord as if it was only a 1 show idea and could not be reused
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
maybe it a a dream from the “Dreamlord” ep but its actually all there minds combined think of this,
(The Doctors Mind)
Would explain all the enemys/planets/travel the repression of Amys advances and River,
(Amys Mind)
The Obvious signs in The Pandorica/Pandora Van Gogh/Fav Painter Romans/Fav school Subject Subconciously killing Rory b’cos she truly wants the Doctor and then forgettin Rory,
(Rory’s Mind)
Feelin inadiquate in comparison to the Doctor so allowing himself to be killed but subconciously wanting to return to take revenge on Amy for choosing the Doctor and forgetting him,
Posted by: B-Me June 21st, 2010
@ cult, that is a cheap plot tool used in American soap operas (everything’s a dream). I would be extremely disappointed and I would feel cheated, if Moffet resolves this season this way.
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
tbh the dream i cant see it being a dream from the start but i could belive from the dreamlord as amy thought the doctor this perfect person also if it was a dream then amy would off got her man the doctor not getting rejected by her tbh i think
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
wot do you think about it possible of it being a dream
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
NOOOOOOO I REFUSE THESE IDEA TO BE A SERIOSE THIS HAS TO BE docter who ses 6 -ep 1 make all the eposides as intense as this also break the 45min tv barrier go for the hour
also i was reading up its amys aunty who takes her to the musem
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
Thanks
Your on that other site as Pond aren’t u?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
tbh the ideas you come up with you could make a series :’)
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i’ve often wondered if theres a site where you could submit script idea’s for DW i’ve got loads of idea’s and theories for different stories, characters/villians, plot twists and companions
i could make millions lol
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
yeh i no, if they do it as a dream i will write a conplain saying is this your best idea, send them our whloe convo on this, and say look what we thought of, and you thought of sleeping
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i think it could be that like at least if it is all Prisoner 0 doing its better than just Amy being asleep lol
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i thought it had something to do with prisinor 0 because, he was first to say about the pandorcia and then before he dissapears he says silence will fall
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
hw about this
it was never explained wot the victims of Prisoner 0 would see in there head when he was linked so how about all this happens everyone dies in the end cos they were unable to stop the Tardis exploding and Amy wakes up in the hospital at the end of “The 11th Hour”
it would also explain why the voice in the Tardis did sound like prisoner 0
just a theory
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
from wot i’ve heard all that will happen i.e Amy freein the doc, River escaping the tardis, Rory somehow helping, but then at the end its still all been a dream
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
but if it was all a drea ho wowuld it started cause she was awake
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i hope it is the muesuem i liked that idea
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
its a relible source its probs the first time i hope im wrong lol
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
sorry but if it was to be a dream that would spoil the whloe series it would be pathetic
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
that would of got me emotional for no reason
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i know it would be a right let down wouldn’t it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
OMG, THAT WOULD BE A CHEAP ENDING!
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i’ve just read a rumor that in the end of it all its all just been a dream in Amy’s head (Reliable Source Aswell)
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
how does amy know to go to the mueseum x
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i thought all the slitheen were killed
Posted by: I_HATE_CYBERMEN June 21st, 2010
In the Pandorica opens river isn’t prisoner 0 because the guard says cell 46. And i think that Young Amy will go to a museum and find the pandorica and River gets to her and tells her wats happened then the Aliance appear and start chasing River and Amelia through the museum they get to a safe spot and River has to leave and go to fight of cybermen, then Amelia has to think of a way to open the Pandorica and knows that she is linked to it so then she is found by cybermen and is taken to cyberleader and he is about to kill amelia but the Doctor jumps in and saves her with river shoots the Cybermen and they’re dead then the doctor does something to the Pandorica and it starts to suck the aliance into the Pandorica and then amy in the time where the roman autons are is sucked into it with Rory. But Amy leaves a message in Amys time and the Doctor and River get it with young Amelia. They have to get Amy and Rory but the Doctor makes an agreement with the aliance and lets them out with Amy and Rory. Then the battle continues into series 6.
Amy’s Dead, Rory’s an Auton the Doctors trapped in the Pandorica, Rivers in an Exploding Tardis oh yeah and the end of the Universe is coming. What the Heck is gonna happen Now!
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
but all that did was make her sleepy
Posted by: RVR June 21st, 2010
Before Amy dies, she is shot by the Cyberman with the little metal needle thing and the Cyberman says “You will be assimilated”.
Might give adult Amy a way to come back?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
it could be the dreamlord making that other tardis, cause he could have took particles of the daleks and the doctor
thats why it is a tardis, and it looks like daleks have made it,
also that could be why the tardis was getting controlled by someone els, hense the dreamlord since he took control before
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i think this has been the best doctor yet
Posted by: i cant get over david June 21st, 2010
master spectacular, theyll explain it in the next ep + the doctor will make the cracks through time & space by creating an explotion as big as the big bang henths the title!!!!!!!

right i have just watched the trailer which was made for the coming soon, from the 11th hour, and like i hear it does say there is one thing you never put in a trap not ever … me , and he is holding a gun obv this is for this weeks episode because that has enver been said
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
the voice in the tardis is prisinor 0 since it sounds the same as the one, on the 11th hour when he says it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
I HAVE A FUNNY FEELING PRISINOR 0 IS THE VOICE IN THE TARDIS SCREEN SINCE, HE WAS THE FIRST TO SAY THE PANDORICA WILL OPEN AND SILENCE WILL FALL
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
the idea of all those things makes me think this ;
( in amys bedroom)
the roman book – the auton romans
the doctor doll- the docotor
the pandora’s box book – the pandorica
the amy doll – amy
the pic of rory and amy – rory coming back
doll of little amy – little amy saving the day
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i like the Doctor going mad idea i suppose you would tho being locked away for all that time
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
everything is happening because amy imagins it, or had it as a child,
aka the roman book and
pandora box book,
well she had dolls of her when she was little, thats why little amy comes abck and saves the day since she is the only thing left x
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
that could be right,
i am trying to think what the doctor told amy thet she ahs to remembers i have ;
* trust me i’m the doctor
* do i look like people
* One thing you have got to understand, because one day your life might depend on it, I am definitely a mad man in a box”
* u no when grown ups tell you everythings gunna be fine just to make you feel better, everythings gunna be fine ”
*amealia pond a great name, name of a fairytale

What if its rory who sacifise his life to hold them out the crack has to be open compeltely to close it right what if she opens it there escaping right her and rory there about to get out then allince catchs up with them rory stands his ground while river gets though what if he forces her to close it behind her leading to killing a good man?
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
Oh floowing my idea right…river escapse the tardis what if right she gets caughts by the allince one off them who not as barbic as the daleks there put her in jail im sure the judoon would do this right what if rory helps her escape could explain prisner Zero escapse though a crack leading to present time amy she could bring little amy to the museam..
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
through the crack in amys wall, it cant be it saying the doctor has escaped because;
1) it says prisinor 0 has escaped
2) it shows you inside and it just look slike a jail with bars
COULD THIS MEAN THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT RIVER SONG
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
in the 11th hour, it says through the crack, prisinor 0 has escaped, unless the doctor is prisinor 0, i dont think that has nothing to do with it
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
Aside from this right what if the allince got it wrong we know the tardis resovles around amys wedding day… The allince would be on gaurd making sure that day goes with out the tardis exploding wouldn there be hidding ready in the shadow…the doctor has been in tht box for tht length off time he would slowly bee losing his mind right.. i think so he will have had time to think out how to get out then threw the years it would get to him and maybe he turns to how will he get his reveange when he gets out? and its not about the tardis exploding and taking everyone with it…but the actions the allince has done cause ripples and ensure that this has to take place and the problem is can amy and them stop the doctor in time and make him see sense before he can get to the tardis and make it gooo BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM… tbh has no one took this into account look at the david at the end off his time as the doctor on mars we saw a different side to him… we know the dream lord is the his evil personality what if it manafestists and take over the doctors states off mind…Remember the dalkek said basicly with out a timelord the tardis wont blow (what if its the timelord who blows it up, what if the voice is not davoise or omgea but THE DOCTER LOST HIS MIND…Could the docter be capable off blowing up his tardis to destroy the people who imprissoned him?? tbh i think he is)
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i am gunna watch all the episodes agen now, and see what i can work out x
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
i think,
the cracks started in amys house, when she was little, and when that first crack opened prisinor 0 had places something in amys mind, that would make the world evovle around her,
thats why everything is about fairytales
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 21st, 2010
b-me, i think you have got,
a man in a box, and it depends on amy,
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
mad man might mean he hoping amy will change him like rose change tennet as a time load are ill tempered u think the doctor could keep calm thought tht and not feeling like hes on a rampage and cult im sure the red hair girl had the same hair as amys rivers hair is to light i would say
Posted by: B-Me June 21st, 2010
Remember in the end of The Eleventh Hour, the Doctor says to Amy, “One thing you have got to understand, because one day your life might depend on it, I am definitely a mad man in a box”…this refers to the Tardis, but couldn’t it also refer to the Pandorica?
Posted by: B-Me June 21st, 2010
Here’s another thought,
In The Eleventh Hour, little Amelia hears the Tardis a second time. Maybe the Doctor kept his word and returned after five minutes but having experienced all that was to happen, he returned with the agenda of seeding info in Amy, for her to remember at the appropriate time, so that she could free him from the Pandorica. This would mean that he did to Amy, what he had done to Donna at the end of last season. Remember, he has been telling Amy that she must remember something, all throughout this season.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
do you think the red head aunt could in fact be a future River trapped in the 21st century somehow and they she has prepped amy her hole life for this moment
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
Actuly just thought going back to our convo yesterday doctor said something about rememring etc… In her house when river went back in looking in her room right everyone still remember you still with me right… we saw the dolls pictures (amy could made them) the romen book which looks like a nomal book but the pandora’s box i just found tht strange the reson is All the alincae would not make a book for the about the pandoraka there will upload the infomation in her sub conicens..but someone like the doctor would want them to learn come along to this on there own…i’m not saying the doctor made the book as that would be wired the doctor writting he hates reading manuls so why would he make one lol but someone who the doctor has met could also had made the book so it leaves instructions for the problem which was ment to occour… See if you look at the book it looks really old and dusty meaning its been around sometime maybe red hair aunty gived it to her nephew as which could been intendtended…someone like river already know what going to happen and has the knowleadge to make such a thing…Ofc i dont think River would do this but maybe someone else…
We forgeting one thing did anyone notice we james insisted on the doctor taking the key???-this could point to the doctor remaking the tardis and james giving the key which will become the new tardis key…this is also unlikly but the message in the book int as the doctor has done this before at the end off the lodger eposide and david got his infomation back on blink off that lass as we know the doctor likes to have a back up plan look at the master when he became the master from yana the it was like the doctor was already ready come on like he could make a plan like tht in less than 20secs unless he could somehow pass messages to matha but still it was like the doctor was already ready for the master with his own conter action withen the back off the mine.
Also i was thinking jenny can not save the day who knows why, how would she know matt smith is her dad???? last time there met he was david she wouldn know who he was.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
on a prev post i was sayin a do believe Amy could be some sort of invention of the Doc that he will make after the day is saved, sort of like how rose spread “Bad Wolf” through after defeatin the daleks in Chris Ecs last ep
Posted by: mikmac June 21st, 2010
u make a good point.
do u ever notice u dont know much about amy, i men u know she has an aunt, and lived in a big house, and her bf was rory. but thats about it.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
about the date thing if it isn’t in fact 150 ad then River would have to be involved in the trap because she left the co-ordinates on the cliff face for the Doctor
Posted by: mikmac June 21st, 2010
did anyone realise that they never confirmed that it was ancient times, first he saidbrittan 2 30, no 2 30 in the afternoon, then he saw the romans and concluded it was ad. it could be around amys time even. and the romans were the living plastic ppl from the first episode of christopher eccelston arnt they? dosnt that mean that rory must be alive because they need a live person to copy like mickey. i think little Amy will save the day. and did anyone notice that the shadow running around the house that we presumed was prisoner zero in the first one was quite Matt Smith shaped. There is also the thing in every episode about fairytales, amelia pond, fairytale name, the poem in the beast below, etc etc. in every episode! its kinda come to a point with the fairytale pandorica and the fact the trap was made from amys mind, like a fairytale dream.
And what was that about “amy dosnt it bother you that your life dosnt make any sence?”
Oh and Moffat wont bring bak tennent or anyone from russle t davises majour plots like darvis or the dr 2.0. and if anyone ever brings rose bak i will stab them cause that has been done to death.
also its possible he will just awnser a few questions and leave tonnes left over for the xmas special to awnser.
One thing i know for sure is u cant realy predict moffat, i mean this is the man that wrote Jekyl AND Coupling! two things on opposite sides of the television spectrum! i have no idea what he is going to come up with next.

I love the crack on the front page, if you click on it it vanishes
Posted by: Laurainamerica June 21st, 2010
Just started watching doctor who .. so i don’t have a strong understanding of the series. BUT….. I think this is the doings of the daleks. another trap!!The darleks gather all of the doctors enemies, get them to believe that the doctor is responsible for the cracks and will be responsible for the “end”. I even think amy was part of the trap as well even though she dosn’t know it. How could the doctor resist but to take on another traveler in his tardis. Amy seems a little strange to me. left home all alone, needs help with prisoner 0 in the house, can’t remember certain things that happened( not about Rory but about the daleks with churchill episode). If thats the case then A: the daleks have their time (doc out of the way ) and the bang won’t really happen or it will but the daleks have a way to escape.B: this is the end of doctor who
Iam hoping someone gets him out!!! Rory…Amy….DR.Song….The Bloody Queen….the docs daughter…his SCREWDRIVER!! And whats up with doc. song? “I’ll see you when Pandorica opens” (hint hint) Who did she kill? the doctor? she won’t say. Could she be part of the trap? Love Matt Smith and Karen Gillan . Hope they bring back Rory or just keep the robot
Iam looking forward to many many new episodes!!!
Posted by: RATMAN June 21st, 2010
gavin and staceys Joanna Page … Time Lady in final episode but also being credited in episode 12??? on imdb that is could be some kind of joke to fool people into thinking such crazy ideas of things to come but otherwise who is the time lady maybe the embodyment of the tardis heart after exploding which seeks out the keys players to help the doctor and set things straight?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i like that theory if you read up on the Doctor its said that as far as Timelords go the Doctor barely made the grade so, So maybe not Rassilon himself but the Timelord council could have arranged for something else to be left on earth during the re entry stage on “The End Of Time” because for all the Doctors smart there are alot smarter in Gallifrey,
i’m hoping to see more of the dreamlord and thats a nice approach to it but if it wasn’t the phsycic particles that caused this what event caused the Doctor to manifest such a worthy enemy,
Bare in mind that the Dreamlord does have alot of traits of The Trickster so this could be his attack on the Doctor
Posted by: DoctorDan June 21st, 2010
It was said The Valeyard was a dark incarnation, but The Dream Lord could be the mental manifestation while The Valeyard is the physical maifestation of The Doctor.
Also, could the cracks be caused by the link being broken at The End of Time? Could Rassilon have had a Plan B after the Tenth Doctor broke the link? It may have been a fail-safe to make him choose the Earth or the whole universe. Just a thought.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
wouldn’t say a prev Doctor because in effect The present Doctor would of then already known,
A future Doctor could have somethin to do with it tho,
Now correct me if i’m wrong but The Valeyard is infact an evil future regenaration of the Doctor isnt he
and as far as i’m aware the Dreamlord was just a effect caused by the physcic particles in the Tardis engine,
Would like to see more off this charecter as i see alot of story potentual in someone who can essentually control the Doctors actions
Posted by: DoctorDan June 21st, 2010
Could a previous incarnation of The Doctor play a role in this? Cult, makes sense about the ArchAngel. I’m wondering if The Dream Lord is The Valeyard?
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
RW tht impossible as the doctor refuse to sovle things with volience
Posted by: RWR142 June 21st, 2010
Anyone imagined that the Pandorica is a/the TARDIS, and the Doc has organised the whole thing to bring his enemies together?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
drwhonu 1 i think thats in refference to the pandorica because if it is true that Amy will free the doctor as a child in the museum it would mean he’s been locked away for nearly a millenia
Bound to change him drastically
Posted by: branno June 21st, 2010
i dont remember the series or episode but it was david tennant when they took his blood sample and made his daughter to be a solider, well she survived at the end of the episode any chance she could have something to do with river knowing so much about the doctor and stuff ??
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
maybe after this ep the matt will be following in his shoes not davids come on after the ending he had matt couldn help but be fallowin his susssecers shoes
Posted by: drwhonu 1 June 21st, 2010
Hi, just watched
Doctor Who Confidential ep 12. on timecode 1 min and 20 sec, the director says “its the death of the doctor or the doctor we know”.
strange he should use those words. what do we make of that. check it on iplayer.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
i don’t know why the daleks have joined with anyone really they want to be a master race
The Judoon however makes more sense than any of the others really as the Doctor has went against the Shadow Proclomation on many occasions he would in a sense be on the run from the Judoon
Posted by: DoctorDan June 21st, 2010
Also, why would the Cyberman and Daleks conspire against The Doctor? In Doomsday, the Cyberman proposed an alliance, but the Daleks said no.
Also, why would the Judoon help against The Doc? I thought they were space police and they wouldn’t help criminals like The Daleks.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
in theory couldn’t amy be something that the master has created hence she’s the connection, while he was makin the arch angel network he surely would of thought of a plan b
Posted by: DoctorDan June 21st, 2010
I do like the earlier theory about the rest of the Timelords going off their rockers and trying to cause the cracks. Rassilon and the rest alomost escaped the time lock once. Maybe The Master found his way out or made a connection with The Doctor to have him appear at Pandorica.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
but while the master had the tardis it was restricted between the two points in time so this would have limeted what the master could have done with it
Posted by: Creedence June 21st, 2010
dout it but he did have have the tardis for awhile
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
Has the Pandorica been mentioned in any other series?
i don’t think it has
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 21st, 2010
Nice thought doctorDan but the master was locked in the timewar with the rest of the timelords so how would he of escaped?
they only did the first time cos the master was on earth so there was a direct connection, do you think the master may have done somethin simaler with the doctor?
Posted by: DoctorDan June 21st, 2010
Could The Master be the one that saves The Doctor? The Tenth Doctor did spare him despite Rassilon trying to bait him. It could be repaying his debt to The Doctor by getting him out of Pandorica. Just a thought.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
or like the echo at bad wolf bay, somehow projects himself through time to arrange certain things,
How about this if the tardis explodes the energy from the heart must go somewhere wot about the doctor he has to be the strongest link to the tardis maybe he absorbs it and uses the energy to alter and arrange the events thus far whilst still in the pandorica
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
We know the doctor is trapped right he cant use his arms or anything…wat if cult maybe ur right a consince the dream load makes a return this will let him out the pandora in tht it will also let him talk to kid amy but he cant touch just be like a whisper …
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i’m starting to think that amy is somehow a creation by the doctor that he will make afetr he saves the day sort of like how rose spread “Badwolf” through time after destroying the daleks not sure how but maybe he creates a conciousness with his mind and inputts it in an auton something along those lines
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
thing is the master said everyone had turned into him right apart from the ones immune to his scarns im thinking would amy be turned into the master i reckon she would have immunity to it well kid amy anyway this could be because shes not really there but is effcet just think bout she dont remembers the daleks this is all the times there attacked also the proffeser also didnt no he was controlled till there told him
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i like the idea of amy not being human also she may have been change more than realised by the angel that was in her head,
we know the cracks lead to different time zones because the doctor has found them all over time but they must have originated from the same place, so maybe the doc will get out of the box enter a crack and be taken to the exact time when the tardis explodes and stops it somehow
thats possible
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
Pandora’s B i’m sure the Doctor said that the angels feed on time energy this could be why they didn’t fall out of existance also the doctor did stick his hand in a crack and nothin happened to him so maybe ppl involve with the time vortex directly are not effected in the same way
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
maybe all cracks are not leading to the same time etc and maybe amy is not human sarah jain son and tht girl on the libary ep if she was rigged to a big enough computer could explain how her memoirse so powerful and can explain why rory became a auton 0r maybe the doctor/dream lord move his mind or meomys into the atuon which ofc would had to have been after he gt locked up so it can loop each time
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
well creedence in one of my earlier posts i did theorise about a paradox event think of it this way,
The Tardis destroys existance
If existance never happens the Tardis was never made hence it can’t destroy existance
everything reverts back to the beggining of time, (The Big Bang)
Posted by: Ego Martini June 20th, 2010
It could be Timothy Dalton and Timelord”ish” crew orchestrating all this from their void exile – blow up the universe and all their nasty enemies (and everything good in the universe as well) . They can then leave the void and build a new Timelord universe out of the ashes of the old one. The Time War and being lock up in the void has made them as nutty as the Daleks and many time more dangerous.
Posted by: Pandora’s box June 20th, 2010
I’ve just thought, if the angels fell into the crack, how come they didn’t fall out of existence, nobody forgot them. That can’t have been all of them that fell into the crack then, so a return in episode 13?
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
if the tarids is the crack rory sacfiing him slef blowing up the tardis could close it if its im ofc
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
in the first ep he said a few things to amy here are a few
Do everything I tell you, don’t ask stupid questions and don’t wander off.
Trust me, I’m the Doctor.
Everything’s fine.
The way to close a crack is to open it completely. Then the forces released make it snap shut again.
or….

17:20 – Doctor leaves (no jacket)
18:02 – Doctor comes back (with jacket)and tells Amy to remember
Doctor coming back along his timeline to reinvent himself in Amy’s memories created by the alliance in ep12?
Question is, what does he mean by what he said to her when she was little? I just can’t remember.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
if the pandorica has a time lock the doctor want age at all just think of gallifrey there all stuck at one point in time never ageing never dying just stuck in limbo
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i really dont think the other tardis is a future version of the docs because we know the tardis is telepathic and the doctor is against violence so it wouldn’t of killed 16 ppl tryin to find a pilot,
i agree that river could know so much due to the doctor sharin his mind but then surely she would of known wot the angels where and the living shadows from the library
Now as with Jack i think the tardis can sense that Amy is a significant mistake in the time line that could explain its willingness to get away from her,
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
sorry im late ^^ good to see u still posting cult right even if the doctor did regrenerat he would still be stuck there – there will must likely do a touchwood buried jack in the past and when jack went there unlocked him from inside tht touchwood container but unlike jack the doctor will age faster this could explain how i think in the libary epsoide she makes a quote about his looks how he looks like how he should but his eyes are to old i think….what if he ages in the paradona i dont mean like 100 years older but like 2-3 maybe 5 as his age is slowed down thats if the pandora dont stop him aging completey also about river we forgot something- what time/era is river actuly from? the doctor likes his companion in the present and would u think he get a perment companion like rose or donna was from like the preseent but if u have notice the younger he gets the younger his companion looks tht there might be just my eyes also i see u are intriged with lodger so hes to more puzzsles.
1. why did the tardis trap amy inside it( before u say it needs something in it to work actuly what bout the christmas specail with the rangork i think it is well DAVID TENNETS DEBUT he virtural somen it to its self).
2. why dose the tardis have a hard time re-miltiesingise when amy is around look at kid amy he said it take him like 2secs turned out to be like something like 20years. Once is a unlucky happening but twice something is wrong there . But then again it only has tht problem in the present time zone dont it.
Also one thing your forgeting rive might have the doctors memoreys because he gived her them well shared them the doctor wants some companionship which wont leave him and with river she can be tht person as she no so much about him…maybe he does what he did to james corden and david tennet with elizberth oh yeah or maybe the timestamp thingys ^^
ofc i have my ideas on the lodger wannbi tardis but has anyone thought it was matt smiths tardis rebuilding its self could explain why its takki oh and the old man could off in fact been the doctor… and again like the red hair aunty dissapered so anything dont conflicks with each other…
Yes it could also explain why it was acting on its own accord maybe seaching for the doctor or someone which has travled with him so it can resume building… as i recall the machine scanned the james right but if i recall he had the doctors memories inside him a human memory is not as complex as a timeloads so james should been able to give it strick straigh forward comands while the doctor cant interfeae with it anyone no why….? his tardis (omg how far featch did this one even sounded lol)

the little girl will save the doctor cause she believes
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
cleverrr!, i still hope the part about the museum happens
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
Fish at the beggining of ep 12 river is in prison in the 51st century so she could in effect kill some one in ep 13 as she now is the 21st or 150ad so i’m assuming she has been arrested by time agents
Posted by: Stedders June 20th, 2010
The Romans are Autons controlled by the nestene consciousness, and in the episode “Rose” they needed a live person to copy or host – maybe a sign that Rory (and the romans) is/are alive?
Also near the end of the first episode little Amelia looks to the sky and the tardis is heard landing – this is just after he leaves to try out his new tardis. So does the tardis return to little Amelia’s time to make her remember or tell her something . -Which means she knows all along what might happen one day and has been acting?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i thought that!!!
i actully cannot think of who she kills.
Posted by: Fish June 20th, 2010
If River is in prison at the beginning of episode 12, then surely that means she has already killed whoever she kills, so that rules out killing someone in ep. 13.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
ahh i feel pretty sorry for him, he will be bored and he has no patinets
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
because the pandorica has a time lock the doctor would be trapped in a single point in time so wouldn’t need to regenarate
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
yeah,
it is omega
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
could the doctor regenerate inside the pandorica x
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
she must use the vortex manipulater she aquired from the blue thing at the beggining of last nights ep,
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
could be, i wanna no how river song gets back maybe she teleports
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i really think theres some sort of higher power controling the Tardis maybe Omega,
or the other tardis did something to it in the lodger which has made it controlable by a 3rd party outside the tardis we havn’t seen yet
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
cause it landed inside a rock, and then it started to blow up
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
The Rock thing baffled me i dont think it blew up because the doctor was locked away, it has more to do with amys weddin day because really the two dates are canny far apart the tardis took River to that date so maybe whoever or whatever was controlling it made tardis sink into the earth as a last attempt to stop anything from stoppin the explosion
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
does anyone no why the tardis landed in a rock
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
thats a hard one stedders the only explanation i can think of is because the “Time Explosion” if you can call it that is resonating from the earth the universe is collapsing in on it so the earth would be the last to go
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
what i never got is why by just putting the doctor in the pandorica did it blow up everything,
cause it is just a box,
and WHY DID THE TARDIS END UP IN A ROCK
Posted by: Stedders June 20th, 2010
If all the stars go supernova and blow up how is the earth still intact in the final shot?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i think after what happened with rose the doc could never truely love a companion in that way again
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
someone came up to me before talking about doctor who and was saying oh the doctor and amy go out, i was like
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
we’ve assumed that because she know so much about him, and you know wot they say when you assume lol
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
but river song is menna be the dr’s wife
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
do you think its possible that River is The Rani and doesn’t know it same way Yana didn’t know he was The Master
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
well yea but why would she have put it 3 millenia before her time and then went back to her own time without it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
ooooohh, i hope little amy saves the dayyy
Posted by: Amy + Rory = Love June 20th, 2010
Ive just seen on IMVBD (or whatever its called) that Amy’s Aunt is in the episode, and Liz Ten, Churchill, Vincent and Diddy Amy are in it, along with some un named charecters AND a time lady!!!
It also said about ‘self Sacrifice’
mmm, don’t blame it on me, you heard it from IMVDB! (Or whatever its called /:£
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
if it is a tardis, cant it travel in time ?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
if it was rivers tardis what is it doing in the 21st century when river is in the 51st
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
the doctor does not die,
it all lies on the younger amy,
she apparntly goes into a muesuem, and finds the pandorica, then as the doctor said sometimes if you think about them they come back, well only amy can open the pandorica, since it is her who thought it up, and she has to think about it to open it.
then somehow time is restored and everything is like it has never happened
Posted by: the 11th doctor – used to be DRWHO? June 20th, 2010
THE ROMANS ARE ACTUALLY AUTONS AND THE DOCTOR IS TRAPPED. IN NEWS OF THE WORLD IT SAID WE DONT WANT HIM TO REGENATE YET
Posted by: the doctor’s adventures June 20th, 2010
This series has not been up to standards but the Pandorica Opens was brilliant at the end with the Doctor’s enemies to see him in the Pandorica and if you all noticed the voice in the background of the Tardis when River was trying to bring it to the Doctor but ended up on the day the explosion would happen and as she walked out of it it said SILENCE WILL FALL and craked the Tardis scanner and then said it twice later on when she tried to go back 102AD.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
if it was infact a sidrat how could it be stronger than the doctors Tardis?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i have just herd that maybe the other tardis is river songs, and she has never ment it to look like daleks
Posted by: Moh June 20th, 2010
As far as the “tardis” goes from The Lodger. Perhaps it’s actually a Sidrat.
For anyone not familiar with the original series, there is another Time Lord who turned rogue and became known as the War Chief leading a group known as the War Lords. They used Sidrats, similar to the Tardis only limited.
The War Chief was thought to have been killed, however we (the viewer) know that he underwent a failed regeneration that left him looking like two bodies fused together. He took to wearing capes and hoods to hide his appearance. Perhaps he is the one behind the alliance, the Lodger ship and the main bad guy of the next series?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
but if River was a future regenaration that would explain all she knows about the doctor/herself such as the name
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
if River had stopped the doc it may have changed a set point in time i.e REAPER Time
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
RIVER SONG IS THE DOCTORS WIFE
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i have just watched it again there,
and what i did not get is, if river song new from the futor what would happen and that he would get put in the pandorica, why did she let him go in there ?????
Posted by: Ego Martini June 20th, 2010
Maybe River is the doctor in a future incarnation.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
but surely it would of identified itself someway and still doesn’t explain the Dalek like controls
Posted by: Amy + Rory = Love June 20th, 2010
At The End Of Episode 13, The Big Bang, A Lot Of People Will Collapse With Bamboozlement.
Posted by: Amy + Rory = Love June 20th, 2010
Right. , here are my words to sum up the Finale of Doctor Who (Well The previous episode & the rumours and waiting)
Bamboozling. Suprising. Scary. Puzzling. Confusing. Mind boggling
Annoying
Upsetting
Brain Exploding
Propusterous
Weird
Crazy
Questionable
Wonderful
Woeful
Antiginasing (think thats a good word)
Painful
Anyone else got words?
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
I wouldn’t imagine so.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
then wouldn’t the hologram of been one of the doctors to identify itself Bob
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
it has something to do with the pandprica langing in a muesuem, and then the little amy finding it and saving the day
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
no the Reapers only apear when set points in time are changed like rose’s dad death,
if that wasn’t the case pratically every time the Doc takes a companion back in time we would have reapers
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
Good point Cult, but what if it’s the future version of the TARDIS? It’s cloaking system repairs itself and wants to reunite itself with the Doctor.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
Listen Now…
That doesn’t make sense think of the Ep “Blink”
the tardis was in a completly different time zone to the doctor and still managed to return to the past after the disc was loaded with no one inside never mind the doc himself,
Posted by: listen now ???? June 20th, 2010
and y is there cracks if in the big bang they save the day and change time
there shouldnt be cracks so i dont think they fix it
Posted by: listen now ???? June 20th, 2010
amelia pond cant travel to old amys time line or the reapers appear so maybe they tell her to do something to save the day
Posted by: listen now ???? June 20th, 2010
i have got it in series 4 the doctor clicked his fingers and the tardis doors opened but when river controls the tardis the doctors in there in the time of angels river controled the tardis but the doctor was in there
maybe the tardis has to have the doctor in it to move or it gos haywire
or it need to be in the same timeline as the doctor and final suggestion
if the tardis thinks the doctors dead it kills itself because its a liveing thing
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
gd point Bob but what if the other tardis had been designed to return to a specific point as apposed to destroying itself, during its attempt to get the doctor to activate it it may of been scanning him in regards to the pandorica,
Also the doctor did say that he hadn’t seen anything like it before so it may not be gallafreyin in origin we know other races have mastered time travel i.e the daleks
also in the pandorica opens the doctoer states that Tardises power down with no occupants so why would the hologram be active with no power,
i think theres more to it
Posted by: Amy + Rory = Love June 20th, 2010
Hmmm…
I think Davros could well be the Silence will fall guy, but im not sure cuz thats pretty big but u never know eh?
Also, the Doctor said to Amy , “If you remember something long enough and hard enough it might come back”
So River Or Rory or someone could go back to when Amy was diddy so she can remember for ages. She could remember The Doctor, Rory and obviously herself and they come back or something. It is extremley lemely likley Diddy Amy WILL save the day, because if not, who will? (Maybe Rory?). Well, we ALL know something;
It is all very confusling. :S What do you guys think? I’ll beback shortly,
Posted by: listen now ???? June 20th, 2010
it dosnt matter if the doctor regenerates remember in series 4 the stolen earth david tennent regenrated but he stayed the same. and the voice wouldnt be davros he wants to take over the universe not destroy it and
why you just talking about omega or davros it could be the master or if you look on wiki theres 2 guest stars 1 of them could be the new master or
enemy
Posted by: Claire June 20th, 2010
I have just glanced through some of your comments.
I agree – I dont get it can someone help me – I think Russell T Davies should come back and David Tennant – its not the same since they left – Karen is amazing.xxxx
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
I’d just like to clear the speculation on the ‘other TARDIS’. They were looking for a navigator for it and only the Doctor can navigate a TARDIS in this universe (apart from River but why would she drive it?). It can’t have gone anywhere immediatly after the Doctor and the others got out of it. It must have destroyed itself.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
I do believe the Tardis from the lodger will be more significant than it has let on
1. it’s obviously designed for daleks due to the controls,
2. how did it get there and when
3. coincidence that the Doctor happened to find it
4. did it implode or simply shift
5. what else could it have done to the Doctors tardis as it was obviously stronger
what do yous think?
Posted by: Nigel M June 20th, 2010
At the end of the fourth series, the Doctor had just destroyed the Dalek fleet and the reality bomb and, as he was escaping, Davros said to him (quote) “I name you the destroyer of worlds”. Isn’t that what has just happened ? Coincidence ?
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i do believe the Tardis from “The Lodger” has got to be more significant than it has led on,
1. What was it doing there at that excact time and where did it come from,
2. Why Does it seem to have be design for Daleks to use i.e the half orb controls that would fit perfectly to there sucker plunger thingys(Technical Term Lol)
3. Did it implode or just disapeer
4. Has it done more to the doctors tardis than we know because it was obviously more powerful than the doctors
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
Well Ego Martini its my belief that the tardis from The Lodger is a dalek ship due to the design of the controls i.e the half orbs stickin out of the console ideal for dalek sucker thingy (Technical Term lol)
not quite sure why it was there but thinking it may have more to do with why the doctors tardis is now completly out of control because on that episode it was obviously stronger than the doctors tardis
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
true cult but remeber the galaphay ep and the radionation tht should off forced him to instanly but he was able to use wat i think his life force to pro long his life kinda makes sense but also remember he has two hearts meaning the shock will go to one heart not the other one in thoery i think tht how eletric would work but also he should be smart enough to bring something to take the shock out off it :L but like we no hes on briany if hes about to die or someone else is XD and river has only one heart jenny has two and the regentation thing checking his body tht could be to check his gender or to check if something lets say out off place XD i dont think people would get into watching a female doctor compelety replacing him lol be wired after all them years but then again do we no if the doctor can interspeaces regenaration… be freaky like the doctor as a jurdoon or silthen lol i wouldn if that would be good or not lol
Posted by: Ego Martini June 20th, 2010
Did anyone notice that the landing marks at Amy’s house on June 26 2010 (So the end of the universe happens on my birthday) looked like a “pod” style of ship – a ship something like the rogue Tardis in the Lodger episode?
The ending of the episode didn’t make sense – ” Well, we fixed that problem. See you later – have a good life.” – why didn’t anyone ask the question “WHY THE HELL WAS THAT TARDIS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE”
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
one thing Creedence in the library river took Docs place because it would of killed the doctor before he could regenarate so either of them would of died regardless, Still don’t think River is Jenny tho
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i don’t think River is Jenny because in a sense there would be no point her keepin that from him it would serve no purpose or gain, gd idea tho
i’m more interested in the theory that River could be a future regenaration of the Doctor because i don’t think its ever stated that the Doctor will allways regenarate as a male,
and by the way he is always checks his hole body after regenaration i believe he could also take on other humanoid forms
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
CAN SOMEONE JUST TELL ME WHATS HAPPENING !
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i thought river was his wife ??? but doughter works, if anyone actully nos what is going to happen, can you please tell me
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
Rive can not be the doctors daugther simple in the libary & tht elictric chair she could off super charged it and regenerated insted off you know
Posted by: whonerd June 20th, 2010
i think river is the doctors daughter. just think they said only a timelord could fly the tardis so it makes sense, it would also explain why the daleks think it is the doctor who caused the cracks. it explains why she knows his name etc too. just an idea dunno if it’s already been said.
Posted by: TheCultOfSkaro June 20th, 2010
i’m the same really want to know but really don’t cos i like theorising about the possibilities lol
theres that many options its hard to decide which is the most likely if any, could be somethin completely different knowing DW
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
i dont then i will no whats going to happen
yes i love to see people veiws on this matter but in the end so many off our ideas are right and wrong im sure there got muilple choises there picked from for this ep coming up
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
Don’t we all. Don’t we all.
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i really want to know what happens now lol
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
Yeah, that sounds right.
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
true Creedence also if you research the Tardis the Doctors was an obsolite version when he stole it from gallefrey in the first place so its always been in bad condition and he could never of fully restored without returning it to gallefrey
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
Cult maybe so but we also have to take into account how many people its ment to take to fly the tardis and the doctors barely does it with one he looks like its flying drunk to compared how its ment to fly he even didnt no he had the brakes on which was making the screeching noise lol
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
couldn’t omega in theory “be” the tardis as it is a living thing maybe he has merged himself with the heart, it would explain the genaral lack of control the doctor has over it most the time, and being the tardis would of allowed Omega to arrange the alliance with ease because they all know of its power
Posted by: doctordoo June 20th, 2010
i recon that this is all amys dream or she will have to pick over the doctor or rory. and also the voice saying silence will fall is not davros.!!!!!!
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
No its been the tarids falut well not the tardis falut its just not handled to do what the doctor puts its threw its been threw hell not only it has the imprint off every major dissastar which has happened so far im surprised its only started to fall apart from the radioation coming from the doctors regenration the tardis is strong on the out side but come on the tardis is not indisctrucable look on the end off time i think it was it almost got bunt to the ground by high molten lava i think it was if someone werent inside when it was about to die it would off went boom then the doctor should really take better care with it
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
Good point, Cult but he did create the cracks. Isn’t that proof enough?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
the cracks were made i think cause of amy
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i just wanna no how the doctor gets out :’) xx
Posted by: CA June 20th, 2010
Who created these terrible cracks? Blame David Tennant and his watery Mars.
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
gd thinkin Bob i just don’t think the dalek empire, cybermen and all the others in the alliance would simply do what “a little voice” told them to he would have to prove to them who and what he was somehow, now omega has tried to merge with humanoids before, maybe he is controlling the daleks, cybermen or someother of the alliance, would this be possible?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
oh yeahh!,
is the human david tennant doctor ment to be coming into this,
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i think what you have said, is goood, but like
yeah the srewdriver part it total poo!
remember in the sarah jane smith and k9 they couldn’t get into the computers they were dead lock, the screwdriver does everything but…
i think the mueseum is right, little amy goes into the muesuem, and like on the infomation about it, it could say something like ”legand had it a man was trapped inside, called the doctor ” and then the little girl thinks of the doctor and opens it, or like someone els said, she has to think and believe she can open it, to open it,
and maybe amy is the only one who can open it, since she has all the information on it, with the book.
i also think the ‘good man ‘ song kills is, rory, cause maybe rory saves amy and song, but then song has to kill him cause he is a auton and he cannot be trusted.
i think the voice behind the crack saying silence will fall, is either omega or davros
Posted by: max June 20th, 2010
right i recon that all of the doctors enimeis hav mistaken the doctor for some one( or thing) else because for staters the cracks been follwoning him all the way threw the series
and secondly i recon that all the people that got sucked threw the crack get turned into autons by the nestieen such as rory but because amy has the ring that the doctor gave to rory to give to her she still rembers him kinda and that keeps him from turning into a full auton thats wat i think but seriously its only sunday ANOTHER 5 DAYS TIL THE LAST EPISODE
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
the reapers appeared because rose changed a set point in time by savin her father they just got stronger when she touched the baby, but i suppose the Reapers could play a part in the finale because ultimatly the timeline will be changed
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
CultOfScaro, I like your questioning about my theory, but if you recall right at the end of yesturday’s episode a voice came through the crack in the TARDIS: “Silence will fall”. That could be how he contacted the alliance to form. Also, he is not really a Time Lord he basically created them. The ultimate enemy.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
yeah thanks a good idea, soo the doctor and little amy save the day little amy and big amy will have to be careful cause if they come near each other those reepers might come like when rose touched herself as ababy
Posted by: Creedence June 20th, 2010
Everyone who say the doctor will use his screw driver to get out… On the inside his arms are trapped and on the outside even if someone had a screwdriver your forgetting what the doctor said to song when it was oping its getting passed dead locks time locks etc and please tell me when the doctor screw driver can get though a dead lock let alone a time lock…in the libary epsiode(david tennet) she said the doctor had david tennets looks but older eyes so this mean one point david tennet has to return or someone who looks like him my threory is matt smith though his time as the doctor will grow older aging somehow which then gets replace as someone who looks like david tennet or in fact david tennet. Yes i said aging as when the timelord regeneraits he getting younger meaning he will become like a teaneger etc when he regents next or after tht maybe one he regent his last time he again reveases alowing him to age nomaly coming back to david tennet…the darkleks says only the timelord can fly a tarides…hello i didnt no micky rose matha sarah jack where all timeloads if thts the case only donna and the doctor could truely fly it, sarah jane and rose could have some give or take exp traviling and watching him fly it all them years. I think time shouldn restore next epsdoie reson is david tennet main role was the cult off skaro now wouldn it be nice if matt smith had such off an role as the doctor maybe going round mending the cracks in time, this could be a good time to bring jenny back somewhere in as she will have seen someoff them around and maybe helps her dad accompilish this feat…i agree the voice sounded like davoirs..but can anyone remember what omega sounded like to as his voice would off changed since though the years…i think little amy will fall though the crack and heal big amy rory riddent with guilt i think is going to go on a sucide misson to attack the people who he feels responbil for amy deaths maybe river saves him and there both go try to regrop and go travel back to stoneheandge this could be when there meet churchhill vincent and tht as there could fall though the cracks and meet the amy and little amy out side stoneheandge (ofc little amy and big must have a talk which will lead to some home truths from her past) Also river can not open the pandor box il explain why the only people who has the infomation about it is the creator off it and the amys (her favoite book & it would tell you in that how its gets opened) Oh yeah river dont kill anyone( maybe at one point someone needs to stay behind to maybe expolded something to for some cause the key here is not the doctor but aton rory – he has no life he got no purpose dont you think he would sacfictice him self to save amy ^^ kinda sweet this maybe river idea about the bomb thats why shes in jail as the doctor hates volinece also when shes in jail could be perfect time for her to make her little book about there life togther so the doctors team defends aginst his fear (allince) while the doctor trys to woke out the voice behind the speakers in the tardis actuly i change my mind i think the voice is talkign though a crack in the tardis this could explain the problem also could explain the crack on the tardis screen when it showed the date when river was in amy house oh maybe the doctor is not the person who blows it up (DOCTOR SAYS SOMEONE HAS TO BE IN IT TO BLOW UP RORY- PERFECT PERSON) and the women in the orange hair i dont think that is rani what would you say if it was old amy?
She could look after her and why are there so many un used rooms (lodger ep the 2nd floor was to hide and if amys house has something like this could explain the un used rooms this idea is far fetch but could be possible i would prefered the allince to build a falcity where there made amy how she was and is plus big amy could get everything ready for the doctor first incounter with little amy and dissapers so the doctor dont see her and destroys the loop off up curent events.
Maybe the tardis is the souce off the cracks around time and blowing up the tarids which someone has to stay in it there no way she would let the doctor amy or her go in and let it blow up…. What if the person who was making a tardis was the doctor but he had to leave then the tadis messed up and tried to rebuild its self on its own the doctor would know how to do this as we know and is capable off hacking into the tardis and landing it ohh the doctors goes that when present doctor comes in and fixes it as them both cant me furture doctor has to go away lol this is also far featch but can explain what the tardis is doing there for.
well ive stopped there i am know expect off doctor who but as you can see these are my views i no there perfect but there will do ^^…
P.s i will come back to this page and check tonight to see what you all think
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
it just comes to me lol
the museum is a gd one because we know the doctor is locked up in roman times 150ad i think he said, and the tardis wont explode untill amys weddin day which is 2010 so if amy releases the doc as a child, couldn’t he arrange to be at amys when the tardis arrives with River Song in it in 2010 and stop the explosion that way
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
how do you think of all this,
i think it is defoo the muesuem idead, just seems to fit in x
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
The hole thing could in theory create a paradox because if the tardis destroys existence it would never have been made in the first place so would therefore be unable to destroy excistence causing everything to revert to the begining of time,
Might be a play on the title being, “The Big Bang”
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
the cyberman said seal the pandorica, and i think they won grow another tardis since they just made this one, maybe time get restored
Posted by: Laurie June 20th, 2010
I hope someone can get the Doctor out of that box and save his life or something>if he dies i hope the show still goes on. I hope River can help the Doctor and Amy. How will he get another tardis. Just a idea in how. Ma be he will get one from Rose. Beacause I heard she has a small piece of it to grow one. Donna and Doctor ten gave it to her. Even if it was not shown in the Show in the End Of time
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
tying to watch it again but my bbciplayer keeps crashin
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
True i still think it opened easy the first time to process the doctors strenths, actually i cant remember who actually closed the pandorica was it one of the alliance or did it just close automaticlly
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
yeah and when amy says can you open it, the doctor says yeah thats easy it is easy to get into a prison but i would wanna no whats in it first lmfao am watching it now :C
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i think the reason it opened so easily the first time was a part of the scan on the doctor i don’t think it will open so easy a second time also just rewatched it and River said the Pandorica has a time lock so wouldn’t that mean the doctor could in theory be there till amy finds him in the museum and not be subject to starvation or regenaration
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
good thinking, or maybe they just unlock it, like they did in the first place
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
maybe its because the alliance used Amy’s mind to arrange the pandorica trap, her DNA/Phsyce is part of the pandoricas locks maybe she has to believe that she can open it, to open it.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
does the pandorica kill whoever is in it, or just locks them in it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
but the little girl gets it open by believing or summit
Posted by: edd June 20th, 2010
The first episode from the fifth series introduced us the prisoner zero, who actually was the first one to mention about the Pandorica. “The Pandorica will open and silence will fall” which basically is saying that the Pandorica will open once again. I am not sure where to plot the silence, but I am guessing that is something to do with the doctor. Not really sure.
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
the cybermen, the daleks and the sontarens stated that while the pandorica was opening it scaned all the doctors strenths and limits so i assuming once the doctor is inside he would have no chance of opening it ever
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
why would the pandorica be in a musuem wouldn’t the daleks think that he could get out
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
he is right, there would be no point, in bringing in a new timelord like when epople said it could be the master
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
Bob i like the theory but how would of Omega been able to arrange the alliance with no phsyical form, and as i said about the Rani theory do you really think they would introduce another timelord this soon?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
well it is clear all of them have to live appart from rory, but i hope he does live
Posted by: Next Week June 20th, 2010
Well Summing up all of the comments Amy DOESN’T DIE, Prisoner 0 is The Doctor I’m guessing.
The second Tardis sound in the first episode is probably Song and you know the little Amy she was waiting for the Doctor OUTSIDE HER HOUSE that’s why River DIDN’T SEE HER!!
I haven’t got any other ideas apart from “the silence will fall” sound.
It probably is OMEGA or Devros.

That is an Awesome Thing about Diddy Amy in the mueseum!
I want Rory back for proper and good! And, of couse : the universe, the TARDIS Amy the Doctor River Song and..is that it?
Posted by: Bob June 20th, 2010
If you know a lot about Doctor Who it isn’t that hard to figure out what happens in the end. In the old series there was a timelord called Omega who actually created time travel. He practically made the time lords. But one day his people sacrificed him to show their greatness in history. He was somehow sent to a universe of his own creation where he was basically God. He eventually went insane and wanted to go back to his own universe. I forgot to mention he always wore armour. Omega decided to try to go back to his universe but realised that when he took part of his armor off he had no physical form. The universe where he was sent to was a non matter universe meaning he had no physical form. Technically he only existed because he wanted himself to exist in that universe. He was god after all. But, because he had no form in which to return to his universe in, he was boned. Unless, he somehow made a copy of a timelord’s body to merge with. That’s where the Doctor comes in. At this point the Doctor was sent to exile on Earth where he was forced to live. Omega tought that because he was sent to exile no one would care if he took his form. So Omega somehow made a copy of the Doctor’s body (I don’t know how, sorry) but the Doctor stopped it from forming completely causing it to disintergrate into ash. This infuriated Omega and he came out of his universe to take revenge on the Doctor immediatly. His armor was the only thing stopping him from dying there. The Doctor then used some sort of matter ray to destroy Omega. But Omega somehow survived, but has never been seen since. He can control the TARDIS as he created it and has his own in his universe.
So this is how he fits into this story. He wanted revenge on the Doctor so he got all of his other enemies to trap him in the Pandorica where he could once again make another copy of his body and enter the matter world. But first he destroys the Doctor’s TARDIS so that it causes a hole in the universe which he can use to enter the matter universe into a copy of the Doctor’s body. That’s what he will try to do.
I don’t know what will actually happen, don’t have a clue in the world. But I think that this is what the enemies of the Doctor are trying to do because they believe that Omega will also fix the universe and get rid of the Doctor completely. This obviously won’t actually happen but it’s what the enemies try to do. Good always prevails so there is no way that this will happen.
It’s a possibility.
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
thats the same as what i thought, but what if it just fell in a crack, everything els seems to be
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
then that would mean that the doctor would of been locked in pandorica for a few centuries, wouldn’t he in theory die of starvation and regenarate, although i’ve never seen him eat really
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
i think that idea of the girl going into the muesum is mint
Posted by: mattsmith(LL)/pond June 20th, 2010
oh yeahh good idea
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
the end clip showed the universe collapsing around the earth but the earth itself was still there which makes me think the earth will have a set amount of time left in the big bang
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
but i thought the earth had dissapered
Posted by: Tom Ford June 20th, 2010
in the big bang young/little amy from 11th hour goes into i think a measeum with the pandorica in it and will help save the day somehow. Everyone has been making errors on the prisoner has escaped sentance. It was prisoner zero has escaped, and that was the name of the monster in the 11th hour-check the official dr who website and the list of monsters section for series 5-that monster is referred to as prisoner zero.

matt smith is amazing the best!!!!
and maybe the angels have something to do we it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
lmaoo matt smith is actully amazingg, he is the best doctor ever !!!!!!!!
And yeahh cultofscaro, i think it is too soon, but i think they could be the angels since they were a big part in that episode, cause they got sucked into the crack
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i do think its the Davros/Darlek thing but theres that many possibilities it could be anything,
I’ve read a theory about River actually being The Time mistress “rani”
but seeing as “the master” was such a big thing would they introduce another timelord/mistress so soon?
Posted by: Amy + Rory = Love June 20th, 2010
Oh yeah! Pond! Of course!! Lol

i did comment you web before about an hour ago, it is really good
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
Also it an opertunity for the daleks to become a master race as the alliance are surrounding earth Davros could attempt to wipe them all out in one go
we know the daleks are strong enougth

i no i actully cant wait a week D:, it is killing me

oh yeah,
but coming back to davros and the dareks i think your right,
causethe voice could of been that, and also
we think that other tardis is to do with darleks, and that was controlling the tardis when amy was in it, and now it is getting conttolled with river song in it, and it sounded like davros
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
the cyber arm shot the Pandorica a couple of times with no apparent damage
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
davros was only in it last year tho, i think it may be the sycorax saying silence will fall, but then the prisinor 0 said it aswell when he took the body of that woman and 2 children
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
oh yeah, and he did get rid of the particuls
and captain jack did,
but i think if they really didn’t want that pandorica, they could of just blasted it
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
all theory aside have to say a big HATS OFF to the writers and directors cos i havn’t wonder so much about anythin in a while lol
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i thought that originaly, but in a sense the dream lord was just a product of the pshycic particle in the tardis
or was he?
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
the tardis is suposed to have a device that does not allow weapons to be discharge inside however this has not been the case when captian jack killed a dalek, destroyed the paradox machine and a few other occasions, maybe this is something that can be turned on and off by the doctor and in this case it was simply left on
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
i think it could actully be the dreamlord
Posted by: silence will fall June 20th, 2010
who says silence will fall in the tardis the voice is creepy it might be a evil tardis
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
yeah i thought that but i re watched the episode, and the legs were really thin and there was 4
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i’m abit stumped on the burn marks the “dalek Tardis” did sort of have tripod legs don’t know if this could have done it
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
if river song had that gunn why didn’t she just blast the tardis doors down >
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
GOOD idea, what els i wanna nois, what made those burn marks on amys grass,
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
which might swing back to davros somehow
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i do believe that the “Tardis” in the Lodger was a dalek ship due to the design of the controls
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
i think he might fall through a crack, but i wanna no if the other sorta tardis thing comes into it, cause otherwise it would have been a waste
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
i think Craig defs has the ability to help because assuming when he was in the docs head, the doc would of still been thinking about the cracks in time so then craig would know abut them
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
yeah i no i was like what the hell!
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
if amy lives, what is ment to be amys time
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
from what i understood the cyberhead followed them from out side so there was only one still doesn’t explain how it was there in the first place
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
well i believe she does, and yes your right she does have the book, soo she must know alot that had gone on, and maybe jenny just falls in a crack,
have we thought about craig coming,
cause there was a crack in his house, and he has been in the doctors head she he knows what is going on
Posted by: doctorwho123 June 20th, 2010
THE CRACKS WERE TELLING THE FUTOR OF TIME!
in the first episode through the crack it said, ” the prisinor has escaped” ( the doctor has escaped the pandorica)
in the cold blood, through the crack, there was a peice of the tardis (the tardis was going to exsplode )
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
But would River know about Jenny and where to find her,
its possible because the future river has the “spoilers book” which means they have had quite a long relationship

P.S was anyone else upset that Rory isn’t really Rory?! LOL
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
what i didn’t get was, why was there already a cyberman there, and why was there 2 cyberman heads
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
what if river song teleports and gets her, cause she knows the doctors in the pandorica,
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
Any other opinions/therioes on if/how Jenny (The Docs Daughter) could save the day?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
they teleported off the ships, thats why there was only like 3 of them
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
in the very first epsiode the doctor told young amy something,
and througout the series he has been saying to amy you need to remember what i told you, but i cant tell you, you need to remember,
does this mean amy could save the day if she remembers because the doctor did also say
sometimes if you remember something it can come back
Posted by: TheCultOfScaro June 20th, 2010
River did say that there ships were around earth but when the alliance revieled themselves i didn’t see them there?
Posted by: mattsmith(LL) June 20th, 2010
on the first episode in teh craack it said, the prisinor has escaped, that could be the sycorax, saying the doctor has excaped
Posted by: Purplchick June 20th, 2010
Here are the things I think will happen in ‘The Big Bang’
1) River Song will use her time travelling device (used to get back to Stone Henge) to transport herself out of the Tardis which will then explode.
2)The note on the website talks about a girl who still believes in stars and this is almost definately ‘Young Amy.’ She may be brought to stone henge either by River Song’s device or through the crack in her wall. Could the Doctor have spoken to her through a gap in time?
3) River doesn’t know Amy is dead yet so she won’t go back to Amy’s house she’ll go back for the doctor. – The baddies will have left, thinking he is secure but Auton Rory will still be there & meet up with River. (Whether he is the ‘good man’ River kills, I don’t know. I don’t think it will be the doctor, because he won’t die (Matt Smith has only just taken on the role)
4) I think in all probability the older Amy Pond will come back from the dead. There are rumours she’s signed on for the next series and, lets face it, Stephen Moffatt loves her. Personally, I don’t feel like her relationship with Rory was ever believable – it was only in the last few episodes she even seemed to like him. I’d be quite happy if her death was the end of that bungled story line. It never made any sense anyway.
5) So, Old Amy is saved from death, possibly by River & Young Amy, Possibly by a sacrifice from Auton Rory. (Very unlkely Rory will come back for good because if Amy marries him she has no reason to go off travelling with the Doctor again in the next series. Plus I think River Song would make a much better, totally kick ass assistant. Also, is it just me or did future River act strangely when she met Amy, like she knew something bad had happened to her? Anyway… the doctor will be released from the Pandorica with the help of a gang of assistants poss including Liz Ten and Van Gogh, though how, I’m not sure.
6) Of course the whole thing could be set in a future where the Pandorica is legend and the Doctor needs to be discovered by Young Amy but that is problematic because the Tardis exploding is supposed to distroy all of the universe. (PS: there is no way the Tardis can be destroyed for good, esp when they’ve just designed a new one. I don’t think the Beeb have the budget to build a whole new one.)
7) Basicly SM has set up far too many complicated plot lines for all of them to be resolved in a satisfying way. It’s Lost all over again! This series has been far too wooly, with lots of questions left unanswered. It’s a real shame because I like Matt Smith as DR who and
