Booboo, and anybody else, I would like to suggest a Advent Calender page untill 24th December. So then anybody who doesn’t have that advent calendar from DWA can still enjoy the pictures inside. Would you consider that or would you think it would take to much time? I only put it foward cause like the merchandise update page you cange it every so often but keep it on the same page. Like I said below, I won’t be able to see it untill Saturday as Im Xmas Shopping on Thursday & Friday but I just thought it might be a good idea. so if anybody likes this idea please comment below and of course Doctor Who Sites own Santa: BooBoo!

Thank you everybody and again Merry Christmas!

This looks really Christmassy. I’m really glad – Christmas Doctor Who should be Christmassy. A Christmas Carol was great, I have high hopes for this. Steven Moffat is a much better Christmas Who writer that Davies (sorry!) all of the others could have been set in the middle of August and no-one would notice the difference (apart from maybe Voyage of the Damned and the Next Doctor).

Can I just ask, have Karen Gillan (Amy) and Arthur Darvill (Rory) left the show? Will they be appearing in the Christmas Special / Series 7?

It doesn’t look like it, but you never know, Doctor Who is full of suprises, so they could come back. Personally, I think that they shouldn’t come back as they have had their time and there should be an introduction to a new companion. If they do keep amy and rory, then they will be the longest lasting companins of the new revived series.

Yes I was a little disappointed too. There have been better CIN eps such as the 2005 and 2007 ones.

      November 19th, 2011 - 10:15pm

It was just a sketch for charity. It wasn’t meant to be taken as a mini episode like 2005 and 2007. It was a little sketch and did its job to try and convince people to donate brilliantly.

    • dw2005

      November 19th, 2011 - 10:22pm

Well I think they should do more mini episodes instead of littles sketches for CIN. Mini episodes are so much better in my opinion.

Well, it wasn’t brilliant but… compare it to 1993’s Dimensions in Time… This little skit was like Hollywood compared to THAT.

    1. i think amy and rory should be in there
2, these last 2 years have been a copy of a christmas carol, now this narnia.
    3. good name.

Alexander Armstrong is only making a brief appearance. He is in flashbacks, as he is the deceased husband of Madge, whom we see in the trailer.

      November 20th, 2011 - 9:02am

Alexander Armstrong is the man in the fighter plane when Madge says England, 1941… and theres a war on. So if Madge is the widow I think she either thinks Reg is dead or he is dead.

Moffat Christmas episodes are brilliant and incredibly better than RTDs

    • Anonymous

      November 19th, 2011 - 6:03pm

i dunno. end of time was good and that was RTD… but christmas carol(i don’t know who wrote that) wasn’t that great

    • King of the weevils

      November 20th, 2011 - 2:58pm

Christmas specials from 2005-2009(and 10 if you count end of time part two) were by RTD(end of time being his last who story he wrote) Moffat wrote a Christmas carol and I thought it was the best Christmas ep since the shows return. All the others hardly had Christmas in(apart from next doctor)and well there should have been more. Now we have Christmas specials in where Christmas is a big focus and not the doctor whinging over regeneration.

You have to say Steven has made the show more for adults than for kids since Russel left (hence why Doctor Who didnt win a BAFTA this year!)
