The BBC have released a brand new series 5 promotional image. Featuring weeping angels and a puppet, it also seems to show a another Dalek colour Variation.
You can see a high res image on the SFX website who also report news of a new trailer this Saturday. An April start date is now likely.

In other news lizo Mzimba has also confirmed that Matt Smiths first episode will be an hour long.
Doctor Who Magazine have also put up a new cover on their Facebook page using this image.

The Second episode is not called meddling Monks its The Beast Below (8Spoiler* the creature in this episode is called Smillers which is in the in the image above in the courner) and the 3rd episode is called Victory Of The Daleks

look im from the BBC and im here to tell you the names of the episode, the 1st one will be called the eleventh hour, the 2nd,meddling Monks, the 3rd, The Dalek Tea party,the 4th, time of the angels, the 5th, flesh and stone, the 6th, vampires of venice, the 7th, title unknown, the 8th, cold blood, the 9th, warm planet, the 10th, lend me your ear, the 11th, title unknown, the 12th, silver sentence (may feature cybermen) the 13th, Cyberwar(will feature cybermen) the christmas special, a crack in time(the doctor cathes a cold and turns into a GIRL)season 6 episode 1, title unknown the 2nd, the house of nothing. THERE WILL BE A DR WHO MOVIE COMING OUT IN CINEMAS ON THE 23/11/11 AND GUESS WHO’S BACK??? DAVID TENNANT!!!!!

I was hoping for an older Doctor though.
I’m sure Matt Smith will be good, they wouldn’t have cast him otherwise but I hope if the series is still going after he leaves they cast someone fifteen to twenty years older.

I can’t wait. I feel like a kid again looking forward to a new series and anxious to know what the new Doctor will be like.
Plus Stephen Moffat has written some of the best episodes so far so I have high hopes.

When i first saw the new Dr (Matt Smith) i thourght the series was going to be rubish, but when i saw him in the End of Time i changed my mind! I wonder wot steven moffat has in mind, his stories are always good.

That’s not a new Dalek. It’s a normal one. It’s just weird lighting. Look at the close up version on SFX. It’s a normal Dalek

The head in the corner us apparently a ‘smiler’ but I think it looks just abit Sarah-jane adventures! Which us fine on the SJA. But nit adult enough for who. Fingers crossed I’m proven wrong.
