the title has double meaning, so idon,t see what difference it makes. Dullas it may sound,i think the episode will more than make up for if the exciting trailers anything to go by.

The Pilot may refer to how Bill sees the Doctor, he flies the TARDIS so she may call him the Pilot, akin to how Ace use to call the Doctor “Professor”

I have just want to say that the trailer was excellent, with plenty of exciting things happening and the chance to see so many of his enemies in it. I am so looking forward to watching the new series with great excitement and counting down the days until the day of saturday 15th april.

The pilot is one word from being what American TV shows call the first episode of a new show, quite a dull title if you ask me

If this is the leaked trailer then I’ve already seen it, but it’ll be nice to see it in HD

For those of us who cant stand football, when do we switch to BBC 1 for the trailer? Even though it should be EastEnders that is on. Answers on a TARDIS blue postcard….

This will be the proper release of the leaked trailer, then. But, I was wrong. The books in the trailer where the Titles. Pretty bad title (the pilot) if you ask me, but I suppose its just a title. That being said, the series poster looks cool.

I agree with you the title is bad, I prefer the highly rumoured one “A star in her eye”.

Considering DWM have used “A Star in the Eye” when referring to Episode 1 in their Season Ten coverage for the past two issues, clearly even they’re being kept out of the loop with regards to production changes these days (though given the lack of exclusive news they’ve been afforded during the Moffat era, perhaps that shouldn’t come as a shock)…

I really do think the original rumoured titles, A Star in her Eye, Emoji planet and Haunted hub work better than the official ones. These new ones are just sooo basic. I know Moffat wanted this to be like a new show, but it doesn’t mean the titles you be this basic.
