Has anything been leaked yet? Has anyone said anything (besides Michelle Gomez hinting at Missy’s possible return)?

Has anyone seen anything of the filming yet? Like a glimpse of Capaldi or Coleman on set? Maybe a sighting of Moffat drawing the name of the next character to be killed off out of a hat?

    doctor who series 10 idea

its present day and in a London hospital a woman is lying there in her room the a terminal illness and she knows she only has weeks left to live… then the doctor shows up and others her the best possible final weeks of her life. and as the series goes on she becomes more and more ill until she dies in the finale.

    what does everyone think ?

Sad, but brilliant. Of course this does beg the question ‘how does the Doctor know who she is?’ and ‘why is he doing this?’. I would say that she might be the daughter or descendant of one of his former companions(maybe Ian and Barbara). This would be a perfect story arc and I suggest you send it to the BBC. Who knows? Maybe they’ll use it. πŸ™‚

Let’s hope it’s better than the last series. I still haven’t warmed to Capaldi yet & I’m bored of Jenna. Hopefully Muffet won’t write too much garbage for Season 9 & we can get some decent writers in.

Quite… No-one is looking forward to another season of Doctor Whosquarestreetfarmokenders!!! Let there be a return to classic excitement, thrills, sciency stuff and possibly a few gripping cliff-hangers to keep the aspidistra flying…!!!

I like to see the Doctor get a new Sonic Screwdriver and maybe a new TARDIS look

New screwdriver? Yeah I’d like to see that. Though keep in mind both Eccleston and Tennant had the same one except for a few minor alterations. New TARDIS interior? Hmmm… I don’t know… I like this design. More machine like than the previous ones. Though Capaldi wants a classic style interior and would love to see that.

While I like the new TARDIS, it’s too spaceship-y for a machine that was grown, not built.

Comedian and actor Paul Kaye has been cast in Series 9 of Doctor Who. he will play a character called β€˜Prentis’ .

hmmm that name seems a bit fishy as the title of episode one in the magicians apprentice

Hopefully we’ll get the arc we SHOULD have gotten for Series 8, with the Doctor having to find Gallifrey. I’d also like to see the New Dalek Paradigm in action for once.

Yes, series 8’s storyline should have been about finding Gallifrey.

I doubt the [now old and not really new now what so ever] Paradigm Daleks will be seen again. They was very unpopular with a lot of us fan’s, and seem to have left quietly too.

I feel every living Paradigm Dalek was onboard the Dalek ship destroyed by Matt Smith’s Doctor in ‘The Time of the Doctor’ just after he says “Love from Gallifrey boys !!” and blows up their ship using regeneration energy, only we don’t see them getting destroyed, and since noe of them appeared in ‘Into the Dalek’ it seems the Paradigm Daleks have gone for good.

      January 6th, 2015 - 4:41pm

It would have made for a far more interesting season.

Possibly. Still, with all the off-screen ideas they wanted to incorporate into them, I think they had a good deal of potential. Oh well.

      January 6th, 2015 - 5:11pm

New Paradigm Daleks are personally my favorite Dalek design. Their design makes them look like they’re lurching forward, which is intimidating. I hope they weren’t destroyed.

      January 7th, 2015 - 2:34am

I’d love to see Davros return again and he is working with the Paradigm Daleks to stop the Dr and Missy (who now has a Tardis of her own) from finding Gallifrey.

    • yognot

      January 7th, 2015 - 4:42pm

I don’t think they’ve gotten rid of the New Paradigm. Because if they did then that would mean that the entire redesign and every episode and cameo they make would have been pointless.

      January 7th, 2015 - 7:42pm

I’d like a mysterious arc where some unknown force gives small clues to the TARDIS crew through some kind of communication device across the series, which are clues to gallifreys location…..the force is revealed to be the timelords

    • yognot

      January 8th, 2015 - 6:52pm

Am I the only one who thinks it would be awesome if the Daleks added Timelord DNA to their casings? They could say Regenerate in the same way as Exterminate and their destroyed casings just heal up.

      January 9th, 2015 - 5:55pm

Please do NOT bring back the Paradigm Daleks… We saw how they sort of ruined Victory of the Daleks.

    • Dalek Supreme

      January 10th, 2015 - 4:46pm

I’ve got some bad news, but it seems the new Paradigm have been written out of existence, mainly for the reason the fans didn’t like them. Some design aspects are nice, but overall the design is quite ugly and chunky.

Steven Moffat reckons the series nine finale will be shocking, and we won’t see it coming. Although perhaps, as filming has begun two days earlier than it did last year, we’ll see it a tad earlier than we did…

Moffat think’s EVERYTHING he writes is shocking. And to be honest, Clara actually dying (no for reals this time, 100% not coming back, R.I.P, bye bye forever) for real won’t have any weight because she’s done every possible death or leave, and she’s still here.

Looking forward to this next series. I think Capaldi had finally warmed to me following the christmad episode.

I also have a strong feeling that Shona will be a new addition to the TARDIS! Which i look forward to! Thats if it actually happens! Who knows!

Yeah, I noticed the Shona character seemed popular with fan’s, I’d like to see her replace Clara as companion when the time comes, maybe for series 10.

Course, if Shona does replace Clara, it will feel like De’ja’vu with how it was with Jenna-Louise Coleman as Oswin Oswald in ‘Asylum of the Daleks’ seeing per predecessors Amy and Rory before the Doctor meets the real Clara herself in ‘The Bell’s of St.John’.

In other words, Clara has met her successor, Shona, before Shona replaces Clara as the companion, IF that does turn out to be the case off course. It may, it may not πŸ™‚

      January 5th, 2015 - 5:16pm

She was a favourite from the episode. She also had a lot of hints to being seen in the future.
      1. How the Doctor remarked how ‘good’ she was. Asking all the questions etc.
      2. She had a very likeable character.
      3. She was alone. And the Doctor would most likely be attracted to her. They seem similar yet different.
      4. A subtle yet obvious hint. She kept calling the Doctor the Magician. And series 9 episode 1 is called The Magician’s Apprentice. Many have thought when the name was announced it sounded like a companion introductory episode. And this is just adding to that theory.

      January 5th, 2015 - 5:18pm

I personally would like to see her introduced as a second companion. To jazz up the TARDIS a bit. I prefer a TARDIS trio over a duo.

I really liked Shona, but I think I’d prefer Ashley. Well, Ashley when she was a scientist. I feel like we need a very intelligent companion again like in the Classic Era (LIZ SHAW!). πŸ˜€
