The new K9 series will start in the UK on Saturday/Sunday 3rd/4th April at 4.00pm

The programme, which is being shown on Disney XD, has already started to air in several European countries.

Disney XD Scandinavia have started airing the K9 series Weekdays at 6:30pm.

Disney XD Poland and Turkey will start airing the series with the first 2 episodes, ‘Regeneration’ and ‘Liberation’.

For those who are interested in the New K9 series here’s a new trailer, you may not understand a word of it but there are lots of new clips and it does look rather good.

If anyone knows what it says we would appreciate a translation!

To coincide with the episode “Regeneration” we have revamped our K9 section with images and Videos from the up-coming series. Screenshots from “Regeneration” have now been added to the gallery along with new images of the classic K9.

01/11/09 update The trailer that was shown on the Disney XD channel and website was from episode 7 “Fall of the house of Gryffen”. A last minute decision was made to show episode 1 “Regeneration”. That’s what caused the confusion.

If you missed the episode, you’ll have another chance to catch it early next year when the full series will be shown.

Don’t forget that you can meet the new K9 along with Bob Baker and Paul Tams at Galaxy 4 in Sheffield from 12 noon on Saturday 28th November.

K9 – FIRST LOOK AT MIPCOM

The long-awaited television series K9, featuring everyone’s favourite robot dog, is in post-production. Episodes are now being delivered and will be shown to TV buyers at MIPCOM in October.

Originally created for the 1970s DOCTOR WHO series by Bob Baker and Dave Martin, K9 has long been an iconic television character. K9 is a children’s sci-fi/adventure series combining comedy, action and suspense – “X Files” meets “Men in Black” with a zany dash of “Ghostbusters”. K9 mixes live action characters with stunning visual-effects.

K9 and his three teenage companions become the earth’s front line defence against dangers threatening from anywhere and anytime in the galaxy. They will have a lot of fun, action, adventure, and some scares along the way, saving the earth from alien creatures, monsters and more than a few human threats.
