In the trailer for next time, there’s a regeneration- is it ashildr or Clara who regenerates. If so is one of them River?

    Hope not, though

River used all of her regeneration energy saving the Doctor, so it couldn’t be her.

Was watching this with my parents and they (not watching the show as religiously as I do) had no bloody idea what was going on at any point through the whole episode

Absolutely awesome. Peter C should get an award for this season.
I think I saw a ring on the vail’s left hand at one of the earliest appearances. Anyone else spot it? Could be my imagination. Looked like the masters old ring.

At last Moffet has finally wrote a good story almost as good as the Weeping Angles (Blink) story. And the Doctor is the Hybrid how is he going to explain that? but a good story any way

If Ashildr had the confession dial then how did the doctor get into it and how did it end up at galifrey?

      Hmm. Good Question Anonymous

    • A

      November 29th, 2015 - 10:08am

Presumably Ashildr’s sinister protection racket style “employers” (the Time Lords) had her transport the dial separately to Gallifrey so the Doctor could be teleported into it. Maybe if he had made the confession they wanted he would have been released in the city (probably in a cell), but by escaping on his own terms he has some distance to make a plan.

    • Jammy2305

      November 29th, 2015 - 9:26pm

The confession dial that Ashildr has already contains the confession that the Doctor made whilst in there. Thus at some point he is going to lose it, Missy will find it and the whole sequence of events will start again… (Hope that makes sense?)

  • daleksean

    November 28th, 2015 - 9:46pm

WOW that episode was amazing but I couldn’t help but thinking of how Gallifrey was going to come back throughout the episode since I already knew Gallifrey was coming back thanks to the synopsis by the BBC and I guessed Gallifrey was on the other side of the wall. Cant wait for next weeks series finale.

A brilliant episode it was interesting, suspenseful and scary. Capaldi’s performance was excellent. The scene where the doctor punched the wall was powerful and the I know this might sound stupid but I actually thought the doctor lost very clever plot twist. The monster was good it always made a good and scary entrance and it was creepy how it slowly followed the doctor.

This episode was really good and I cant wait for the next episode. I think this one will be remembered as “the one were the doctor gets followed by a creepy monster” or “the one were the doctor nearly broke his hand by punching a wall”

he is I think the same age as he was in the last episode it was the same day repeated for him I think.

    • Dalekparadigm2

      November 28th, 2015 - 10:36pm

This is correct. A current version of him was stored in the computor bank. It was only the castle that became that old.

    • A

      November 29th, 2015 - 9:51am

Physically the same age, yes, but as he remembers his past attempts when he reaches the wall his memory is surely billions of years old. The same day added to second by second as he punches through the wall.

    • mick181

      November 30th, 2015 - 9:19pm

I don’t think he does remember his past attempts, i think he works out what has been going on by the time he gets to the wall. One thing we don’t know is how long each body’s story lasts for is it weeks, months or even years. As he comes out of the chamber he doesn’t seem to know where he is or what is going on. Don’t forget its already been 7000 yrs the first time we see him.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. We were on the edge of our seats when we realised the doctor was trapped in his own causality loop ( it’s a timey wimey thing) , a very exciting finish also. The next time trailer has our whole household jumping up and down speculating about what’s going to happen. These next 7 days hopefully, will pass quickly . We cannot wait for the finale….

Unfortunately there is one rather large plot hole. If the rooms all reset themselves then how did the crystal wall not unbreak? Capaldi would’ve had no chance of getting through that. Anyway, I’ve decided to brush it under the Carpet. Capaldi’s acting was SUPERB! Absolutely amazing from start to end.

      1. Heaven Sent
      2. The Zygon Inversion
      3. Under the Lake
      4. Face the Raven
      5. Before the Flood
      6. The Zygon Invasion
      7. The Magician’s Apprentice
      8. The Witch’s Familiar
      9. The Woman Who Lived
      10. Sleep No More
      11. The Girl Who Died

I reckon next week’s episode will probably top that list. One Hellofa series!
