This was a great episode, with moments of real peril and horror. I liked the idea that a company in the future would charge its employees for the oxygen they breathe.

Poor Bill being exposed to the vacuum of space was horrible and the dr giving her his helmet was just the sort of heroic thing he’d do, even though it cost him his sight. I think his body is now shutting down from here on and this is the start of his eventual regeneration.

I literally can’t wait to see Missy next week. I hope she explains what happened the last time we saw her on Skaro surrounded by Daleks.

I remember the Anthony ainley returns where it was never explained how he survived being pretty much definitely Killed! So don’t mind if she doesn’t explain but it would be nice. Oh, one thing, I saw an image of the exclusive art cards from the series 10 dvd release which are supposed to feature characters relating to series 10. One of them featured the daleks and davros… hmm, davros in the vault?

Davros in the vault, I doubt he’d be able to play a piano.

Michelle Gomez is leaving at the end of Moffs run too!!!! 🙁

Also, I can’t see Davros eating Mexican food. Lol. It’s bound to be Simms master.

Missy is in the Vault. Who else would like children getting eaten. I mean, shes in the next episode and the Vault is opened then, sooooo…

I reckon the Vault is only a factor or a diversion from the main story arc. What if its been something else this whole time, like a small piece of writing or a message that no one has noticed yet?

I wouldn’t look int it that much, it’s probably just a simpler one compared to the confusing hybrid plot from last year

Stop that TARDIS the hybrid nonsense was 2015, we were denied a full series last year.

I was looking forward to this episode, but was a tad underwhelmed with it.
Nardole is a waste of space, a vehicle for – what or who is in that silly vault, and for grounding The Doctor to guarding it. I don’t care for it at all.

What annoyed me about this, was good sci-fi drama was undermined with comic relief, please, just leave it out.
And also the anti-capitalism statement per-mutating throughout – is the show gonna counter balance it with Unions in charge going on strike and show long walls of 6 foot high piles of rubbish across the galaxy and rats just as big, because of – I think not …

Capaldi is always great, and the story was alright, on the whole. An O’K episode, in an O’K series to date.

Just rewatched and now I love it even more! This is Doctor Who at its best and unlike series 9, I would recommend anyone to watch it – had something for everyone in there!

Seems in the poll’s above, Oxygen is the only one to have a high vote for ‘brilliant television’ which I am not surprised with as it was a really good episode

Why didn’t he just use regeneration energy on his eyes? How has he got old sonics in a jar when some of them have been destroyed in past stories!

He can’t just use his regeneration energy to heal himself willy-nilly! He probably just remade them with new software, or it’s just a jar full of empty spare sonic screwdriver ‘cases’ (excluding the model he gave Nardole)

He healed Rivers hand in the angels take manhatten and that was before he got a new regeneration cycle and he had all that energy extracted from him by Davros so if it’s that easy for it to be utilized I don’t understand why he can’t just heal himself up

River said it was a stupid thing to do and highly risky and not something which Time Lords should do. He got the new regeneration cycle from the Time Lords in the Time of the Doctor. Davros didn’t manage to go through with his plan, so the regeneration energy was never actually used (so I assume it goes back to the Doctor).

Did think not being able to use any regenarative energy when he’s got a whole new cycle is a bit plot daft.

      May 15th, 2017 - 1:21pm

It may be because the doctor is in the midst of a much longer regeneration, like how 10 had time to see all his old companions. And because he is in the middle of a regeneration his energy could be ‘locked’ so he can’t use it. But the only problem with this is wouldn’t being in the middle of a regeneration heal him, like how ten healed his hands in teot2? Please help with this theory because I do like it!

    • The Outcast

      May 16th, 2017 - 11:28am

I reckon 11 was using some of the Regenerative energy he got from River in ‘Lets kill Hitler’. But lets face it, ever since series 4, Regeneration energy has become a plot device with no consistent logic.

Thought this was a bit like “Under The Lake/Before The Flood” set in space but it was good as well.Best Series 10 episode yet.
