Just watched Peter Capaldi in Brad Pitt’s World War Z.
Was better than I thought it would be.

I hope that there’s a lot of mysterious things in the first episode, like the dick pond and that, also things that make no sense and make sense like years later, then also a story arc of some kind like the cracks

Hope this series is darker and brings death back to doctor who because to be honest the last time we actually saw the Daleks properly exterminate someone was in 2010 in victory of the Daleks

Yes lets have it that bit darker, scarier and sombre. In the old days people who helped the Doctor tended to end up getting killed.Including now and then the odd companion.

I think it might be an hour because Matt smiths first episode ‘the eleventh hour’was about 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Guys, it is a FAMILY show.

That’s were it’s failing, DOCTOR WHO ONE. I still think of Doctor Who as a show aimed at teenagers and adults. I wouldn’t call some of the more violent classic stories like Vengance on Varos and Attack of the Cybermen as a show aimed at family viewing.

And everyone, I’m really sorry but I have to voice my true opinion on this new teaser trailer. I think it looks like a soap opera. And the title of the episode really is a dissapointment. They must have really thought about that, not.

Sorry if no one on this site likes it, but these are my opinions, and I will stick with them until the 23rd of August.

Me too, I’m all for it being a family show but there are adults as well as children in a family and a lot of season 7 looked as though it had been made for CBBC not BBC . Hopefully with Peter Capaldi the stories will be aimed at the whole family not just the children

I hope they bring back the horror era and I hope the lighting isn’t like what we saw in the trailer and poster; it looks like it’s covering too much up. I also hope Doctor Who always starts at 7:00.

I’m liking this. I’m hoping the Series 8 plot will be about the Doctor rediscovering who he his, with Clara there to help him. It would make sense since the Doctor has post-regeneration amnesia again, and Clara has been through his timestream.

The TARDIS doesn’t seem to be fairing too well!
Well if Capaldi is a “punk rock Doctor”, then maybe he’s crashing the TARDIS for fun, “like hey, #YOLO and all, why not?”
    LOL XD
Cool trailer though, hopefully we’ll get a proper one soon!
And hopefully the new series will be as dark as these teasers make out, it would be a nice change for things to get a little darker and more serious, something I’ve been wanting for a while!

The famous one was Brandon Lee who was shot on set of The Crow. Roy Kinnear also fell from a horse whilst filming a Musketeers film which brought on a fatal heart attack.
