Bonhams – Imperial Dalek sells for £15,600

Today saw various Doctor Who costumes and memorabilia from the BBC Archive go under the hammer at Bonhams Auction house.

One of the most anticipated lots, An Imperial Dalek from Remembrance of the Daleks which had an estimate of £5,000 – 7,000 sold for £15,600

    Most of this lot went way over estimate what astonishing times when a bashed up Dalek is worth more then a suv

    I can’t belive it! Because I mean I think a dalek was sold for 20 thousand quid but on the 50th birthday of doctor who the should like try and sale the first doctor’s outfit that would be worth loads. But wait also Susan foreman’s outfit might be work one thousand pounds. Jon Pertwee”s suit would be worth LOADS because he was very popular. Tom baker’s scarf and hat would be worth LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAADS
    beacuase he was EXTREMLY popular. But K-9 from the year he was introduced would be worth LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDS! because he from loads of parents now really really really really really really popular!
