Doctor Who – The God Complex

Doctor Who – The God Complex

Saturday 17 September
Time to be confirmed BBC ONE and BBC ONE HD

The TARDIS lands in what looks like an ordinary hotel, as the time-travelling drama continues. But the walls move, corridors twist and rooms vanish.

There is a room for every visitor that contains their deepest, darkest fears. Fears that will kill them. What lies in the Doctor’s room? And when his turn comes, will he welcome death like all the rest?

I bet the weeping angels are going to get very little screen time. They’ll probably appear in Amy’s room.

Cant wait for ‘The God Complex’ ! Hate the name tho, dunno why they have to include God in all this, and even why they need to include hitler. Its kinda controversial. Or is that just me?!
Anyway, Cant wait till the wedding of river song!!!!! 🙂

Read my long comment the one below the one below your comment. It clearly explains why it is called that. Bascically the “God Complex” is a term of arrogancy, if someone thinks they’re better than someone else, as if they were appointed by God, or whatever. I think Gibbis has this complex. But who knows, maybe it’s Joe.

The God Complex. I wonder if this story is centred around a character. The term meaning “the god complex” is a colloquial term used to portray a perceived character flaw as if it was a psychological “complex”. The person who is said to have a “God complex” does not believe he is God, but is said to act so arrogantly that he might as well believe he is God or appointed to act by God. There’s only one character I can think of who has this complex, and that’s David Walliams’ Gibbis.

Is it me, or does anyone else feel the look of the Dummies in this upcoming episode was based on the Dummy from the old R.L. Stine novel ” Goosebumps – Night of the Living Dummy ” ?.

Here’s a link which shows the cover of the novel with the Dummy on it. Does look quite similar. http://goosebumps.wikia.com/wiki/Night_of_the_Living_Dummy
