‘WHY is your comment so long, James?’
But anyway, how does the pandorica open?
And who, or what is being held inside the pandorica? (besides, the cybermen, daleks, sycorax, cheoloian, but the rest I can’t remember.)

when the cracks have opened all over space and time, it has allowed part of the doctor in the pandorica to escape – in the episode about the dreams. he escaped the pandorica and tormented our doctor.

I THINK I might have come up with something as regards the mysterious “Big” being lurking within the Pandorica (and believe me, I think there IS one) but we’ll see; Bear with me here I May be/Probably AM wrong but as far as I can work it out thus far (and All the clues are there – you just have to Look for them) I THINK it goes something like This; Do you remember the odious “Timelord Victorious” personality story that appeared VERY late in Tennant’s run (although there were Hints of it before)? Well I Think Moffat Might be bringing that back now but with a difference – Whereas with Tennant it was just another side to his character? With Smith? I think it might be a whole other Doctor that MS’s Doctor HAS to fight in the finale – But this “Big Bad” that MS has to face will be not just ANY Dr, oh no – but HIM. I think it will basically turn out to be a clone of MS but with the worst traits of the Timelord Victorious, the Dreamlord AND all the other Dr’s mixed in and it will be Supremely in command of it’s powers as well – Allow me to explain.
I think the explosion of the Tardis in the finale might just split off the Timelord Victorious part of his personality from the REAL Dr and That Dr has somehow reached the peak of his powers and is now going off ahead of MS’s Dr having his OWN adventures, destroying all manner of civilisations (eventually leading to His imprisonment in the Pandorica) and setting all sorts of traps for MS as well; That would explain just WHAT happened to MS Sonic Screwdriver in TEH when it ended up in Prisoner Zero’s room looking like it had been in a battle/killing of some sort- We never DID see the answer to that did we? More importantly, such a storyline would also explain just WHO came back to persuade Amy to Trust him in F & S And it would explain just what he said to her in TEH when she was 7 which we didn’t see…..(And I’m not talking about MS’s Dr when I say “he”, not the good one anyway). Maybe THAT Dr is the One that MS has to fight at the end? The clues all point to it – Consider River Song said to him his life and Particularly the Opening of the Pandorica “has to be lived through” with No “sneak previews” or nearly none – who else could “live” through that of which she speaks except the ONE person for whom the Pandorica is NOT meant to open? She’s said to have killed “the best man I’ve ever known” And learned from the VERY best how to fly the Tardis – Who else could that be but MS Dr at the very HEIGHT of his powers? (and if you Don’t believe me? Just look at How reverential of him, Father Octavian and his troops were – They treated him like a human ICBM just Waiting to go off and were Most worshipful/in awe of him – they even called him ‘sir’ I Think they might have mixed the two Dr’s up)
As to other things? Well, The Pandorica itself is said to be a Fairytale – It CLEARLY refers to Pandora’s box (capable of unleashing Hell on Earth and terrors beyond imagining) and what about just How close to the word Paradox it is? What else is a bigger paradox than making the Dr fight…….Himself. He also said in AC something like the “one enemy he was afraid of” was the Dream Lord who WAS him – The Dream Lord’s face appeared to him briefly at the end After he retreated and finally – along with the Dr Himself saying that it is going on all around him without him knowing – how COULD he know if his own timeline is being unwritten or REwritten by the Evil MS Dr (IF it exists?) He couldn’t – Amy didn’t know when Her own timeline wrote out Rory nor did the Soldiers in F&S know after the others walked into the light and this would explain a lot of just Why MS isn’t that aware of exactly What is going on around him as it’s HIS timeline being rewritten. Finally, there is I think, THE most significant clue of all; I think the Biggest clue is that both ‘Angel Bob’ AND ‘Prisoner Zero’ speak of the “Doctor in the Tardis” not knowing what is happening – What if maybe, just maybe there was another, unspoken part to that sentence? Like perhaps – What if there was a “Doctor in the Tardis” AND a “Doctor in the Pandorica”? TWO Doctors – a sufficient space time event to cause an explosion big enough to destroy the Tardis and end the universe or at least START such an explosion no? I think The most dangerous enemy MS must fight in this series by Far is the one he’ll have to face Right at the end………………Himself. What’s more I don’t think he’ll win either – I think he’ll have to rely on the ONE woman he trusts River Song (who he Asks if he can trust in F&S) to kill this “bad” him and thus earn herself time in a Storm Cage for killing a man who was in Father Octavian’s words “a hero to many”.
As to the rest? I think what might happen is that Amy will prove to be the most important being in the universe (as MS himself said in F&S) because she will help CAUSE the explosion and cracks by maybe Forcing the Dr into allowing her to meet Rory again after she realises just Who he is/What he means to her and? As he should technically should no longer exist in HER life (rules of being unwritten by the crack vs Love that Lasts a thousand years maybe?), THAT causes a paradox Big enough to force open the Pandorica, release the Evil Dr and Start the Explosion to end ALL explosions as well as leading to a fight to the Death between the two Dr’s. The paradox might not kill Amy or Rory and WOULD allow them to meet as well as don’t forget in Last of the Timelords a Similar Paradox allowed the Toclafane to slaughter their ancestors – After That? Allowing Amy to meet a man who should not exist for her would be Child’s play. I also think that if the above isn’t true about the Pandorica being Forced open by Amy “forcing” a meeting with Rory when she shouldn’t?
THEN maybe Moffat will follow the line of Amy Herself Being the Paradox. Maybe the fact Amy’s name changed from Amelia to Amy AND that the Duck Pond in Leadworth is Empty AND that Amelia/Amy has no family AND that the Dr’s Sonic Screwdriver mysteriously found it’s way into Prisoner Zero’s room for no Apparent reason in TEH AND looked like it had just been in a battle are ALL significant and maybe if That line is taken, the story will go thus; What if AMY is the paradox? What if Amelia WAS killed by Prisoner Zero or one version of her was but the Future/Bad MS Dr went back early enough in her life to Make her trust him at the age of 7 and thereby obey him and live – Something he refers Again to in F&S to reinforce that trust? (and conveniently make her and the Cracks in time following her follow HIM and destroy his foes like the Vampires or Angels?) Anyway, What if in doing that and saving Amy, he STOPPED the universe killing her when it HAD to and thus helped trigger the explosion on her wedding day? (Maybe in THE and CB – Amy and Rory, then Amy are waving in a warning to her to get AWAY from the Dr as He is the feared inhabitant of the Pandorica? Or at least Looks like him). Anyway, with her Alive and Meeting Rory when she never must AFTER he’s been wiped out of her timeline? A woman who should have been long dead meeting a man who should never have existed – in HER life anyway and then growing to love him? What if THAT causes the explosion which in turn leads to the Tardis’ destruction which in turn leads to Two Doctors then to a fight to the Death between them that destroys most of the known universe in it’s aftermath?
All conjecture and good fun I know but I’m Convinced the finale will play out something like what I’ve just listed with almost certainly an evil Dr version of MS SOMEWHERE In the mix and Amy either forcing the good Dr’s hand and precipitating the explosion by meeting Rory due to this OR by her living due to the evil Dr’s actions when she SHOULD have died with her family and the ducks (LOL) but instead she lives on as a living anamoly which the universe is constantly trying to correct (remember the reapers in “Fathers Day”? Like that but FAR more powerful due to Amy’s role in the Tardis’ Destruction) – then? Her not only living a ‘forbidden’ life but meeting a man who SHOULD not be part of it due to him being unwritten would cause the dreaded final explosion of the Tardis if she doesn’t force the Dr’s hand on meeting Rory herself that is…. I might be right in some of that, I might equally be talking a load of rubbish, who knows? Still, either way, we’ll find out soon enough won’t we? All in Good Time…………………………

I bet a jammie dodger that its a Graske inside the Pandorica.
    It resembles a Goblin.
And has worked with the Trickster.
If this is true then this could possibly be the best season finalé this year.

The pandorica is a device The Doctor created; it keeps the time vortex in a stable stance but somehow it is opening, causing splits in walls of the universe. When the vortex gets to a point in which it is uncontainable and all of time and space explode – a big bang!

I think either Omega or The Master. Notice the amount of characters reappearing for a second time in the series: Liz 10, Winston Churchill, River Song, Silurans, Daleks (maybe Rory the Clerics from The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone with Father Octavian, Craig and Sophie from The Lodger and Vincent Van Gogh) and that all of these people/monsters have all had the crack appear at least once in their episodes.

Here’s an unlikely, daft, subversive idea…
Could it be Love? The cybermen, at least, would argue, “Emotions destroy you”. And indeed Amy almost did destroy herself when she lost Rory. Still think it’s the Doc himself. But all ideas count at this stage…Even if they’re a bit far fetched…

Hmmm…Reckon no one can answer my question (below). I would be very suprised if it wasn’t the Doctor or something about his personality at the lest, concealed in the pandorica. Think about it- and the end of Amy’s choice we perhaps were given a hint by the docs’ ‘evil’ side being reflected to him by the tardis console. Well, we shall see…but it is very unlikely that any force in the universe aside from himself, could be more powerful than the daleks or cybermen!

what about the most feared being the doctors real name, as river song alludes to in silence in the library. this could be the progression from the original series.

Oh c’mon guys the truth has been out there all season.

“There was a goblin. Or a trickster, or a warrior. A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. Nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it – one day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.”

Now who does that sound like to you?. Looking from both sides of the fence..

Besides, concept art has foolishly been made available online in advance of next week which merely confirms..

Is the Moff an athiest like Russel T? Cos, is it just me, or have there been loads of religious and atheist metaphors throughout the series? Angels, priests, faith, a white light (spelling non existence rather than Heaven)…and more…
Hmmm, maybe I’m on the wrong track? Whatever is in the Pandorica (which I think shall be something about the Doc himself!) will certainly bring all the series’ themes together in to one whole. Whever my insight is correct or not.
Oh, and can’t wait for the return of the cybermen!!!! They rock!!!! And I hope they win…which is kind of like me supporting Leeds Untd cos they never do. Shame.

And I think when the Panorica opens, there will be no inside, but a doorway to the other doctor. At this point the Red Bowtie Doctor and Blue Bowtie doctor will see each other. They will realize what is happening and try to get away from each other, but theie enemies will throw them both in and they will touch. The two doctors touching will cause an explosion tearing the two timelines apart, and destroy one of the Tardis’s. The only way to close the rift, and seal it forever is to throw one of the two Doctors in. And that’s a job for River, because a future Doctor told her. So she will murder A Doctor, but leave one alive for next season.
NOTE: The Doctor and River are completely opposite. When the Doctor (Tennant) 1st meets her, it is the last time she meets him. Presumably, the last time the Doctor meets her, will be the 1st time she meets him.
Thus, when River 1st met the Doctor, it was the his last incarnation.
