I think I remember in a back issue of DWM showed part of a script and it had a mugshot of a Cyberleader in the form of these new Cybermen,I could be wrong however as it may have been a first concept idea, I say the best thing to do is wait and see, as all Doctor Who fans know… time is relative :XD:

I really enjoyed Patrick Troughton,s Invasion story back in 1968 and if this story is a sequel too that one bring it on soon with Peter, can,t wait.

O.k. lets be honest the Cybermen are The Best Monsters in The “Who-niverse” So Good they were and let’s be kind here, “copied” by Star Trek, i.e. The Borg, and Better than the much over used Daleks (Yawn!!)
      End of!

Let’s just hope they’re at their Sneaky Best and not being despatched in some oh so lame way as in the past.

I am sure Peter Capaldi will be an Excellent Doctor,

Glad to see they’ve gone for someone older with some gravity and personality this time around.

O.k. Let’s be perfectly clear about this,

There is No chance of this ever happening in the near future but?…

I do think it would have been Great to see Benedict Cumberbatch as The Doctor and Tom Hiddlston as The Master I think they would definately be a Fantastic combination!

Bring back Sutekh all is Forgiven!

      “Who Rocks!”
      Peace Out

Tom Hiddleston as the Master! Are you mad? Yes, you clearly are, but in a and visionary kind of way. What an excellent idea.

As in the original Invasion I do hope they are actually up to no good here and not just helping the Doctor as some have thought from the other photos. It really shouldn’t be much of a choice between being cyberised or exterminated.

“Aah, at last, no one can stop us now!
It only took us 47 years, 8 design overhauls, and a load of time travel since our first try to succeed!
You don’t see The Daleks with those stats now do you!?
      Now… hang on… who’s that old guy?Carrying that old Cyber-head?
      *GASP* NOOO! IT’S HIM!”

      @Dalek The Supreme
If you’re referring to Victory of The Daleks, then I don’t really count that as a victory, more of a successful escape and the chance to rebuild
I see a victory for them as a successful conquest, or Exterminating one of their enemies, such as the entire Time Lord race, or even better, THE DOCTOR!

A modern Special Weapons Gunner Dalek, and the Slitheen, cos they was dead funny back in series 1, and they to me are a classic monster in their own right from the early days of modern Doctor Who.

Raston Warrior Robot, more Zygons, the Rani or Master, Davros, Autons, Special Weapon Dalek, SERIOUS Sontarans and other surprise classic monsters (i.e. Sea Devils, the Mara, etc.)

    • The Surgeon

      July 21st, 2014 - 4:08pm

I’d like to see the Rutans appear, and I think it could be cool if the Blathereen turned up. I know that sounds stupid, but I think a visit to Raxacoricofalapatorius with the Slitheen and Blathereen could be good.

I’d like to see a singular villain return, someone who doesn’t appear in masses like the Daleks, even though I am suffering from the disease we all know as “Dalekmania” :XD:, I think it’d be cool as a one off to see a baddie like Meglos return or maybe have a strand off an original monster like we did with the Silurians, It’d be cool to see what they’d do with a monster like the Mara, I mean I got into classic Who after Eccleston stepped to the console (first classic story Remembrance of the Daleks) and I enjoyed learning about the old show and all the old monsters. I can just imagine if there were a cult dedicated to the Mara where the people mutate into snakes… that would really up the creepy factor.

    • DOCTOR WHO ONE

      July 20th, 2014 - 7:32am

Astronaut of Death – I’d rather not know what happened during filming, cos if Doctor Simeon starts blabbering about what he saw when they was filming that it might only spoil it, not just for me, but for others as if it wasn’t bad enough having 5 scripts posted online and an edited version of ‘Deep Breath’ also posted online as well which has no doubt made Moffat and everyone who works on the show extremely annoyed already.

Still, if he got Capaldi’s Autograph – lucky man !! 😀

I didn’t see too much, nothing with plot details anyway. Just lots of Cybermen marching around.

I did indeed get a photo with him and his autograph on the 12th Doctor DWM Art Card.

I also met and had photos with Steven Moffat, Michelle Gomez, Ailsa Berk, Tracie Simpson and Peter Bennett. And Moffat signed my Day of the Doctor print.

‘The Invasion’ was aired in 1968, by the way.

The Invasion was definitely one of the second Doctor’s more dramatic and cohesive stories, excellently delivered… It would be a shame to meddle with it. Just my opinion, though.

No they won’t, ans they can’t anyway, cos since the 1968 Cybermen walked down the steps outside St Paul’s filmed there years ago, the so called ‘Wobbly Bridge’ was built in between St Paul’s and the Tate Modern art gallery, so instead of them going down them steps, they may as well be walking over the bridge.
