What if missy isn’t really the master, maybe she looked into the doctors mind and chose a name that she knew the doctor would fear the most and so ‘revealed’ herself to be the master. Moffat does lie a lot.

I have a theory that Missy is an anoglamation of the Master, like the Valyard is of the Doctor…

Is it really bad that I really hope people get shot by the cybermen this episode because the army ain’t really that scary unless people actually die to be honest, it’s all good and well jumping on a plane and zooming out of St. Paul’s but that’s not really cutting it for me unless people actually get killed.

One thing I havn’t seen been picked up on yet is : If Danny Pink is dead how can Orson Pink exist as his great grandson? Unless Clara is already pregnant !! or he is brought back from the dead (hope not!!)

In Moffat’s universe (head), people don’t remain dead.

…even the Time Lords. He HAD to bring them back from the dead too!

    Some key questions.

(1)Whilst accepting that the timeline could be charged by the events portrayed in DOTD how does the Master escape from being time locked with Rassilon and the others In “The End Of Time”?

(2)If Missy is the Master and not something like the Rani how does this not revive the controversy that if it’s established in canon that a Timelord can regenerate into a Timelady or vice versa why not have the Doctor regenerate into a woman that I would rather avoid?(Personally think the role of the Doctor should remain a male preserve.)Would rather that Michelle Gomez had been cast as something like the Rani as plays role of a scheming villainess very well.

Unless of course this isn’t the final regenerated form of the Master(It’s been suggested before that Steve John Shepherd who played psycho Michael Moon in “Eastenders” and was in “This Life”might have been in the running to take over from John Simn in the role.)Or he’s taken over a (this time female)body as he’s done before when played by Anthony Ainley.

In ANY EVENT agree with what others have already said about Roger Delgado. He was the Sean Connery of actors to play the Master.First and best!!

I’ve got a feeling that back in galiifrey the time lords may have killed the master (the time locked became unlocked in the end of time) thinking he might just die but then he regenerates into missy and escapes somehow or something. I bet Steven Moffat wont explain any if this he’ll just have missy in the episode just for the sake if it

I am fortunately old enough to have lived through all the doctors from the very start of it all. I have never fallen asleep before through utter boredom. Neither had the rest of my family let alone my daughter. We hate the way the writer has taken solid storylines with David Tennant and trashed them. They are weak and full of dumb riddles and double speak. For gods sake write something that is at least scary and has a really good punch line. Please stop the arguing between clara and the dr. It’s ridiculous. Its like watching east enders instead of good scifi.also the budget used on the episodes seems s bit thin like days of old when the beeb only had card and sellotape to play with. Listen to the people who lived through them all

And who said she wanted to leave? It hasn’t been confirmed, by Moffat, Coleman or otherwise, simply one newspaper said so and everybody believes them. It’s a 50-50 chance. They could have made the story up AND got it right. It could be wrong. Who knows?

If all this turns out to be something akin to “Dallas” and the infamous shower scenario then one will not be amused. However saying that, it should be something more memorable and substantial.
By the way, in case it escaped anyone’s attention the show is being broadcast on the Drama channel at 4:00pm on Sunday. Starting with “The Aztecs”.

    CLARA OSWALD – THAT’S WHO !!.

Come on Moffat, don’t tell us Clara never existed, she’s too well established as a character to not have existed in the first place.

From what i have seen and read, the Cybermen have been created from Clara (The Snowmen), Clara’s late mother, Amy and Rory and assuming many others who have died. I really hope that Clara isnt a villaun as she is one of the best companions ever. Plus loving the scene of Cybermen in front od St. Pauls cathedral. Who the hell is Missy?

After the Doctor left Susan, she married and had a family with David and was participated in the rebuilding of Earth after the Dalek invasion.

20 Years later we know that in the Five Doctors, Borusa captured Susan with a Time Scoop and placed her with the Doctor in the Death Zone on Gallifrey.

Afterwards, Susan and David adopted three war orphans and named them Ian, Barbara and David Campbell Junior; Susan was not able to conceive with David. She worked as a peace officer who made Dalek artefacts safe. The years she spent on Earth caused problems for them. She did not age as fast as humans and was forced to disguise herself to look thirty years older. In 2199, she encountered the Master whilst investigating a Dalek artefact, and was captured by him. Susan was taken in the Master’s TARDIS to the planet Tersurus, where she believed that she killed him. After she took his TARDIS.

A conflicting account held that Susan was able to have a child with David. Her son, Alex Campbell, had only one heart. Susan asked the Doctor if Alex could be educated on Gallifrey. The Doctor expressed doubts about David’s acceptance when told that Alex had only one heart. After David’s death, Susan became one of the leaders of the Earth council to help with the planet’s recovery. She contacted the Guldreasi, a seemingly peaceful race that wanted to help Earth. About this time she met with her grandfather in his eighth incarnation and helped stop the Guldreasi enslaving the human race.

    • the eternal doctor

      October 30th, 2014 - 4:10pm

i think she is river song or rassilon.

the reason why I think river song is because
in the trailer when the cyberman began to attack missy said “you really need to keep up” in the new clip realised by the bbc

the reason I think rassilon is because

in day of the doctor when they froze galifrey, galifrey went outside the universe; so what is outside the universe heaven galifrey ended up in heaven and changed there name to the promise land and when people die they end up in heaven but there is a planet in heaven galifrey.

after wrighting that paragraph I now think it also could be the master because:

promise land is really nice and when people die they end up in the promise land it is only people who work with weapons so maybe the master is gavering an army to go against the doctor, so missy gives them a promise that they are aloud to live in this land if the turn to a cyberman.

maybe they have gone crazy or something

but the master is a bit crazy so I can see him saying that

plus river song could return whos to say river and the 12th doctor never met they are always meeting in the wrong order

her story is not 100% over

    • CJ

      October 30th, 2014 - 6:08pm

Oh its 100% over! River was always meeting the Eleventh Doctor in the wrong order not any of the other Doctors. Also the Master is crazy but I can’t see him saying anything like that…

    • the astronaut of death

      October 30th, 2014 - 6:17pm

steven moffat said that her story is done for now . he said that we wont see her for a while but he is extremely tempted to put her in a story with capaldi .

so I wouldn’t say it is 100% over it is doctor who at not one point did river say that she had never met the 12th doctor so their is always a chance.

and the master could say that

think about it he got sent back in to the time war witch will probably him more crazy

Is she going to be restricted to somewhere or what? Please respond and give your thoughts and theories.
