Doctor Who Lands on New Year’s Day with “Spyfall”

The Thirteenth Doctor is in her TARDIS on her way back to BBC One for a thrilling ten-part series which will land on New Year’s Day 2020, with subsequent episodes airing on Sundays.

Starting with a blockbuster action packed two-part episode entitled Spyfall, the Thirteenth Doctor is well and truly back with a bang. As Jodie Whittaker takes charge of the TARDIS once again, the Doctor will be joined by her friends Tosin Cole (Ryan), Mandip Gill (Yaz) and Bradley Walsh (Graham). The twelfth series will also welcome a host of famous faces including Stephen Fry, Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Robert Glenister and Goran Višnjić to name just a few.

Add to that some familiar faces including the Judoon and the Cybermen, series twelve is set to be an epic action packed rollercoaster for everyone, just don’t stray too far from behind the sofa…

Spyfall has been written by Chris Chibnall, Showrunner.

I’m trying to not read many comments. I loved it, that’s all that matters to me. Some people just seem determined to hate it.

The early reviews sound promising without giving anything away. And new title Orphan 55 is intriguing introducing terrifying new enemies. Just going on what i,ve read.

I,ve just seen The Radio Times Cover with them all on. Now if i knew we,d be getting a season episode by Episode synopsis like they used to, i might buy. But nearly £3 is too much for a similar summing up in a lot cheaper TV guide. I,ll sneak a look through before i decide.

So glad its going back to two parters. Miss those cliffhangers. From whats shown, i assume the bulk of that trailer is episode one with Lenny and Stephen. Mr. fry i,m going to have a guess is some kind of ‘M’ figure for some undercover organization filling in for the absense of UNIT who needs the doctors help.
