Doctor Who Live – Pictures

Doctor Who Live – Pictures

We were lucky enough to go to the Saturday evening Doctor Who Live show and a few pictures of the event can be seen below. ( Don’t look if you are going or planning to go although we haven’t put in any that would spoil the surprises!)

To book tickets go the the Doctor Who Live website Here

The one thing I would say here is that if you get the chance to go you really should – its great! When they say live, they really mean live, from the Monsters to the music it was clear the thousands in attendance had a brilliant time. Vorgenson – played by Nigel Planer really looked at home in the part.

There were several references to a particular past story and we find out who Vorgenson actually is. Nicholas Briggs makes an appearance – although you might not realise it at first. There are plenty of monsters on show with the weeping Angel sequence being particularly effective.

Ben Foster (and he looked like he was enjoying every minute of it and didn’t want it to end) conducted the live band who played several familiar tunes with montages and clips from the show being shown on the big screen.

We won’t say any more as I don’t want to spoil anything for those already booked or those thinking of going but needless to say you will have great time.

The merchandise shop looked very busy with The Doctor Who live Poster, T Shirt and programme (this is a very well presented, quality programme with plenty of features) selling in abundance.

The Doctor Who Live merchandise ( Poster not on the website at present ) is now available to buy on-line should you be unable to attend the shows.

You can order direct from the dedicated website Here

Before the beginning do they have a video like top 10 monsters or something? They did top 10 worst auditions at the x factor this year?

“does anybody know if you can take your cameras?”

Doctor who live say you can take “amateur still images” No Video. Some venues themselves have their own rules but the NIA Birmingham go by the policy of the show so you should be ok

However If you try to take in a proper video camera or professional looking camera expect to get it confiscated till after the show,

If you have a camera and its ok whatever you turn the flash of during the show.

when we went to London they tried to take out still camera of us because when were honest enough to show it to them rather than walk through with it in our pocket like everyone else was. they did say over the tannoy that there was no photography allowed of any kind but loads of people were taking pictures and videos.

    Terms for Birmingham NIA

    Can I bring my camera?

PLEASE NOTE : The promoters of the concert or event will inform the Arena of their policy regarding the admission of cameras to their shows.

It should not be assumed that any camera will be admitted, as their policy may change at short notice, and without prior notification, at the artists request.

In these cases customers will be required to leave their cameras at the confiscation area, for collection after the show.

Usually, professional type cameras (with interchangeable lenses) are not allowed in, with the exception of officially accredited photographers covering the event. Video cameras and audio recording equipment are very rarely let in, but often the Promoter will allow in small instamatic cameras. It has been known however, for all cameras to be banned at the request of the artiste.

If you are planning to attend a concert in the future and would like to bring a camera with you, we would advise you contact us first, to ascertain what the camera policy will be for that show, to avoid disappointment on the night.

Our wee boy Aaron (5) was totally gobsmacked at the show in GLASGOW last night. If you are going make sure you get a seat by an aisle. Aaron was catalogued by a Judoon Trooper and chased by a scarecrow in the interval. His jaw hit the floor when a Cyberman walked past him.

FANTASTIC SHOW …NOT TO BE MISSED..

What a fantastic colourful spectacular it looks on these wonderful pictures.

Such a shame that the ‘Fatleks’ ( Multi Coloured Recycle Bins) are in evidence.

“You’ve had the ‘Daleks redecorated’, don’t like them”! to misquote the 2nd Doctor from the 5 Doctors story.

why can’t it be televised like the proms, i miss WHO – when is the final adventure game coming out i’m so bored without the Doctor in my life…..
Ordering and watching Classics help ease the pain to wait until XMas, but i want the 11th on my screen instead. At least until next year you don’t have to wait for months until new WHO. and at least sja is on tomorrow (its not the same I want the Doctor). We have to wait until the end of the month for the Doctor – bring back the Doctor.
