    Not long now 🙂

  • The Moffat Paradox

    July 14th, 2014 - 9:30pm

Heres a thought I’ve had for a while. In the comic book universe and it’s Animation/TV/Movie adaptations you can have the enemies of Superman/Batman/Spiderman working together against them.
So why not have Davros (minus Daleks),the Master, the Great Intelligence and maybe even Madam Korvarian (assuming the’ve all survived) acting in unison to do what the’ve failed to do alone: bring down the Doctor!

  • 100,000BC

    July 14th, 2014 - 7:28pm

A weeping angel at 0:06 at the end of the corridor, perhaps? The silhouette does remind me of them, and it would explain the flickering lights…

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 10:39pm

Could be a TARDIS corridor flickering becaus the TARDIS is kind of exploding

    July 14th, 2014 - 6:42pm

    Hey, I’ve just noticed . . . .

The 12th Doctor’s wearing a black tie on, in the picture where he is look at us.

    • the astronaut of death

      July 14th, 2014 - 6:51pm

yeah I imagine they are tempory clothes maybe given to him by vastra strax or jenny

because the ones he is whering now don’t look very victorican

    • Obsie

      July 14th, 2014 - 8:03pm

And seemingly no white shirt in the second to last photo.

  • Daveroper00

    July 14th, 2014 - 5:25pm

Has anyone realised that the upper levels of the tardis have some chalkboards and lamps and tables on it?

    • Daveroper00

      July 14th, 2014 - 5:32pm

      And bookshelves?

      July 14th, 2014 - 5:44pm

Yes. There is also a new set of steps in the Tardis console room which has been added as revealed by it’s designer, Michael Pickwoad, in the new ‘The Essential Doctor Who – The Tardis’.

He said that the latest design was ment to have two sets of steps leading up to the balcony around the room, but back in 2012 when it was being made, they had to design it with just 1 set of steps instead of 2 for budgetary reasons or something like that.

    • the astronaut of death

      July 14th, 2014 - 5:52pm

DOCTOR WHO ONE in the esstential guide are there more images of this orange tardis

      July 14th, 2014 - 6:26pm

No sorry, just images of the modern version during Matt’s time are shown.

  • The Pandorica

    July 14th, 2014 - 4:46pm

Has anyone noticed the T-Rex next to big ben within the night shot of London? You can see it within the eighth screenshot?

  • Dalek1234

    July 14th, 2014 - 4:41pm

I spy danny! at about 00.29 he’s jumping away from an explosion!

    • Dalek1234

      July 14th, 2014 - 4:43pm

      and unit at 00.30!

  • George Falconer

    July 14th, 2014 - 3:49pm

I am looking forward to a darker more disturbing doctor. One who has a different relationship to the companion.

    July 14th, 2014 - 3:35pm

Just read every other comment, and I’m surprised no one has mentioned that we see the following during the trailers from the shows recent past –

0.05/1.05: Corridor inside the Tescelecta Robot from series 6.

0.22/1.05: The Tardis flies past us at high speed, but not sure which story this scene has been shown before.

0.30/1.05: Shot of London at night from ‘The Name of the Doctor’ just before the guy in prison goes “Do you hear the Whisper Men, the Whisper Men are near’.

0.47/1.05: The Tardis possessed by the House entity returning into our universe through the bubble universe in Neil Gaiman’s ‘The Doctor’s Wife’.

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 4:00pm

There’s no proof that the TARDIS had been possessed by house and I did think that corridor looked a bit like the teselecta but I thought it was just the doctors eye

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 4:00pm

Dalek eye not the doctors I mean

    • Dalek1234

      July 14th, 2014 - 4:42pm

the London shot has some sort of giant creature.

    • 100,000BC

      July 14th, 2014 - 7:20pm

0.45 looks similar to the spaceship from Flesh and Stone, even with anti gravity.

Also there are of course Invasion of the Dinosaurs, someone dressed a little like a Fires of Pompeii soothsayer and Clara’s Sarah Jane-style outfit…

“I’ve made many mistakes, and it’s about time I did something about that” – maybe he is briefly revisiting a few scenarios from his past…

  • The Moffat Paradox

    July 14th, 2014 - 12:40pm

If they are also going wheel out Skaro’s finest again so soon lets see them that bit more originally and intrigingly used and not so easily beaten in the end so that it’s closer to (If not actually) a draw.

      July 14th, 2014 - 1:35pm

I hope they don’t use the “blow the daleks up” ending again

    • MyLittleTripod

      July 14th, 2014 - 1:43pm

Or the “Steven Moffat” approach to the Daleks aka Asylum of the Daleks aka THE WORST DALEK EPISODE OF THE MATT SMITH ERA IF NOT THE WHOLE SERIES!

  • the astronaut of death

    July 14th, 2014 - 12:20pm

This’d is the first ever proper Dr who trailer for the past 4 years that dose not include matt smith

      July 14th, 2014 - 3:17pm

Sounds to me like your glad his gone.

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 3:43pm

No they’re just saying that it’s the first proper trailer in a long time that doesn’t feature matt smith. Similar to what you’d say for the first matt smith trailer as it would of been the first proper trailer for doctor who without David tenant

    • the astronaut of death

      July 14th, 2014 - 3:49pm

      No I loved smiths doctor

      He was my best

    July 14th, 2014 - 10:23am

Btw do you think they will release a extended trailer!!!? I remember they did that once, which series was it for?

    • Obsie

      July 14th, 2014 - 12:11pm

I’ve gone past extended trailers after (cough! cough!) years and count the new series as an extended pleasure.

    July 14th, 2014 - 10:07am

That dalek at the beginning with the purple eye and silver armor maybe some sort of time controller / psychic dalek which brings the doctor to them. I just hope that they have something new with the gold daleks unlike the last episodes they’ve been in where they seem to charge on screen then just get blown up/ knocked by over by the tardis.

      July 14th, 2014 - 3:18pm

Looks more like a metallic blue armour with a blueish purpleish light inside it’s camera eye to me.

  • Dalek1234

    July 14th, 2014 - 9:06am

that man with half robot face has some thing on his right shoulder? a hand?

    • Dalek1234

      July 14th, 2014 - 9:52am

no its a silent hand!!!!! look at the screen shot!

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 3:56pm

      Fingers are too short

    • timelord 013

      July 14th, 2014 - 6:53pm

Its not a silent hand its a human hand from a large person. well u will find out lol

  • Obsie

    July 14th, 2014 - 8:14am

    I might watch it!

  • doctor3000

    July 14th, 2014 - 7:44am

can not wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait to see the new monsters in action

    July 14th, 2014 - 7:27am

    😀 BRING – IT – ON !! 😀

  • Doctor Stu

    July 14th, 2014 - 3:58am

Hope that dinosaur is actually part of a story and doesn’t just appear on screen for a second because most things that have been on doctor who trailers in recent years look amazing until the episode actually airs and something that looks significant in the trailer has little or no relevance in the actual episode and isn’t as cool as it first looks in the trailer if u no what I mean

    • timelord013

      July 14th, 2014 - 11:24pm

Yes the Dinosaur is part of the story if i told u i would spoile it for u.:)

  • The Other

    July 14th, 2014 - 2:24am

Everyone seems to be missing what appears to be a very philisophical Dalek (that sounds just like the teaser voice, so as I suspected, not Davros) at the beginning, stating: “Life returns, life prevails”
    Wonder what it means…

    • The Big Friendly Button

      July 14th, 2014 - 9:27am

I wonder if life returns refers to the Time Lords.

  • Doctor Stu

    July 14th, 2014 - 1:49am

    The graphics look better anyway

  • James A

    July 14th, 2014 - 1:46am

Clara’s outfit in the last screenshot looks similar to Sarah Jane Smith’s from SJA’s Prisoner of the Judoon.

Also funny because Clara was named in honour of Elisabeth Sladen.

  • i love jenna louise coleman

    July 14th, 2014 - 12:29am

this so amazing soo excited cant wait

  • the astronaut of death

    July 14th, 2014 - 12:07am

In this trailer alone the twelfth Dr has wore 4 different costums

  • Jordan

    July 13th, 2014 - 11:45pm

I can’t help but wonder if one of the main villains might have found a way to repeat some of the doctor’s greatest challenges? Eg the dinosaur invasion and the cyber man invasion of canary wharf? (The finale episode is meant to be a cyberman invasion as stated by Moffatt)… Maybe the doctor has to face them again and change something… Who knows!

    • Some bloke

      July 14th, 2014 - 10:35am

the cyberman invasion is supposed to feature outside and around st pauls cathedral… atleast that’s what I’ve read

  • Some bloke

    July 13th, 2014 - 10:58pm

I think the android (Half-face-man) was rumoured to be jack the ripper…? But I’m not sure 🙂

  • Doctor Who Crazy Ross

    July 13th, 2014 - 10:36pm

    Oh. My. Stars.

I actually have a feeling that he is going to become my favourite Doctor. What happened to the scottish accent?

    • Doctor Stu

      July 14th, 2014 - 1:48am

      He had a Scottish accent

  • matt9982

    July 13th, 2014 - 10:18pm

This is just great! Although where the Doctor says ‘into darknes’ it makes me laugh a bit. A one hand it shows he will be much darker which I am really looking forward to but on the other, it is really over the top.

  • Oodkind25

    July 13th, 2014 - 10:08pm

the two tardis VFX shots have been used before in the doctors wife and in the day of the doctor!!

    Don’t cheat me BBC!

      July 13th, 2014 - 11:55pm

i thought i had seen it before, i stopped to even get a closer look its the exact same scene, maybe house returns which wouldn’t be great but on the other hand would mean that the ending of house when the TARDIS ‘eats’ him wouldn’t look to bad, it was a bit, eh at the end of that episode so maybe, bu definately cheated, want to see new TARDIS shots

  • dan23uk

    July 13th, 2014 - 9:57pm
