Brrr. I’ve just watched the preview clip for tomorrow’s episode. I’ve got the shivers. I think the BBC’s ruling that the Mummy isn’t shown on the main trailer. It’s truly creepy. So very creepy. Very much looking forward to it. Could be the top episode of the series (beating Kill The Moon). Soooo spooky…

Frank skinner lol. Remember him fondly when he used to do fantasy football with david baddiel. Would actually like to see him as a motd pundit replacing that black & white clown shearer (i’m a sunderland fan).

Why does the clock start on 62?
Looks like a great one. If it’s as good as Kill the Moon was I’ll be impressed.
The first four episodes I thought were kind of… Just below average. Then Time Heist was brilliant, The Caretaker was abismal, and Kill the Moon was fantastic. I hope the episodes will got consistently better. I don’t want Capaldi’s first season to be remembered for being a bit rubbish. I think he’s brilliant, but most of the episodes so far haven’t suited him.

I love how the guy doing the electronic voice with the thumbs up symbol is speaking calmly and even says “Isn’t this exciting?” when the Mummy is attacking and being shot at! LOL!

P.S: Anyone have any thoughts on wat the Mummy might be?

    WOW!
Now THAT is a scary Doctor Who monster!
It’s probably the most visually scary monster I’ve seen in Who for ages!
It genuinly wouldn’t look out of place in something like ‘The Walking Dead’ (a great show for my fellow older ones out there)
    And Foxes + Frank Skinner!
And The Doctor taking centre stage at last!
Hopefully the ep lives up to it! (although based on the series so far I’m sure it will)

Looks great, but every trailer is spoiled by the hideous music at the end. It really is dreadful, this is not an exaggeration, I honestly do have to cover my ears at the start of every episode.

The music is THE BEST theme since 2005! (along with series 4 + specials)

I agree. The squeeling tune is unbearable. Please change it before my ears start bleeding!!!!!!

Thus far, here are my favorite eps of this season:
    1) Kill the Moon
    2) Time Heist
    3) Into the Dalek
    4) Deep breath
    5) The Caretaker
    6) Listen
    7) Robots of Sherwood
While i have been able to decide which eps i favor and which ones i dont this episode seems to be one i may struggle to judge. I mean, if this ep doesnt seem bizzare than i dont know wat will

    1. Some wild facial hair coming up
    2. No Clara in the trailer however Google images seems to contain evidence that she’s in it.
    3. The Doctor is ditching the Crombie (or is this more deep cover?)
    4. Some wonderful space shots of the train – looking forward to that
    5. The Mummy is as scary as hell.
    6. Frank Skinner and Foxes!

Well one of them seems to be fretting going “oh get it off” – something a cat hater might say if it were to jump on their laps.

Indeed, though if I am honest, this might be the typical character who believes the creature isn’t dangerous and doesn’t know she’s about to die in 66 seconds. The way she says that it looks like it.

Love the weeping angels! Don’t bring Amy back though, we need someone new and fresh to go with the new doctor. Btw who likes Peter Capaldi?!?! X

Heres the real version of the synopsis…

Aboard the most beautiful train in history speeding along the stars of the future, a legend is stalking the passengers. Once you see the Mummy, you have 66 seconds to live. No exceptions, no reprieve.

As the Doctor races against the clock to defeat this mythical foe, Clara sees him at his deadliest and most ruthless and finally realises she has made the right decision.

Because this is their last adventure: it’s time to say goodbye to the Time Lord

In SFX magazine, Steven Moffat said it would be fun to follow up that reference, so he gave the idea to Jamie Mathieson for episode 8.

In DWM they said the mummy was so scary they couldn’t put it in the trailer. yeah, I don’t think it’s a robot.
