well so far this series is a bit of a let down the stories premiss’s are all good just by the third act the story dose not quite deliver. this seams to be a common problem when a new doctor is regenerated Matt Smith’s first series was not that great either but the writing got better the characters more engaging i can not see why the Doctor needs Clara she brings very little to the party and should be shown the door a.s.a.p

This one seems to have an excellent premise.
We will see how this one plays out. I also
liked Journey but agree Black Spot was awful.
This episode features more Doctor less
    Clara should be better.

Captain john hart from torchwood played by james marsters. He’s a rogue time agent like captain jack harkness.

I’ve realised from this episode that even though Clara isn’t the “Best” companion, she is definitely the most important in the Doctor’s life.

This episode looks really good.I would love to see the trickster get a full doctor who episode, brilliant in the sja, and definitely a worthy adversary to the doctor or even to gallifrey for that matter. Looking forward to seeing the brilliant keeley hawes as a villan which should be good too.

Would be good if it turned out the whispermen were the dr who version of the trickster, they joined the gi to gain access to the tomb and cause chaos

The creature and the guards and the whole general environment seemed very Star Wars-ish

I love it when they do things like this – It puts closure to some storylines and makes the spinoffs feel connected to the main show, even now that they aren’t airing.

Wow! Cool mugshots! Abslom Daak, a Sensorite, Terreliptil, a Slitheen and even the Trickster! Bet it took a lot to get HIM in the big house… knowing that his antics messed with the lives of Sarah Jane Smith AND Donna Noble.

Not high hopes for this as I had them for Listen, that wasn’t amazing. I think this one is a bit random and it didn’t really do anything for me when I first saw it

I can watch anything with keeley hawes, should be good, though you do wonder about stories that start with the word ‘Time’.This I hope breaks that curse.

Given Steve Tompson’s recent M.O when it comes to Doctor Who, this story doesn’t look like it’s going to be that good. When somebody is brought back for 2 series and in both they wrote the worst story in that series, why would you let them do a third?!

Because it’s written by the same person that wrote Curse of the Black Spot and Journey to the Centre of the Tardis, both terrible scripts in their own right.

The Black Spot was bad, but I quite enjoyed Journey to the Center of the Tardis.
I don’t like what I see in Time Heist though, and I’m not looking forward to it.

I am enjoying Season 8 so far, Episode 2 the most.

But why would the Doctor participate in an apparent crime unless he had another reason for doing this?
