Does anyone else think that when the doctor gets hit over the head in the cave it could be one of Davros’ earlier experiments in that cave on Skaro? Just an idea

Just watched BBC News talking about some 10 year old Indian boy who’s going to appear in series 9. Never seen him on TV before, but they showed him in a clip of the BBC drama ‘Call the Midwife’.

They showed pictures of him, not in character, inside the Tardis console room, and I think they said he is going to be playing a main character in an upcoming episode.

I have just read and cant believe it, that a someone in america classes Doctor Who as an american series that “also airs in the uk”! Its stupid, its a british show, and in the past, a few bits of merchandise has been released in the us before the uk!

Iconic British Police Box america, dont think i have seen a police box in america!

A theory. At some point in the 12th Doctor’s future, he has to go into hiding (without Clara or the TARDIS). Puts his time lord self into the fob watch after telling Clara to set a random destination in the tardis and then enjoy her life.

The ship is set to aound 50 or 60ad, the now Caecillius version of the doctor meets his wiife, Metella, has two kids Evelina and the lad.

After his former (tenth doctor) self and Donna save him, he has a good life. Assuming some point later in his life, he may find some sort of time travel device and finds himself in the modern day, meets his new wife and has two daughters. But when he is told what he has to do, because of the 456, he does what we heard him do.

But instead of doing it to himself, he (as Frobisher) has a memory of Clara and tries to find her. But fails.

I know thats a bit farfetched, but its just an idea.

That is one hell of a theory and bloody brilliant! Can’t believe I didn’t think of this… It also makes sense and something Moffat would do 😀

    Here’s an idea !! 😀

In ‘Deep Breath’ broadcast a year ago today, the Doctor said to Clara “I’ve made many mistakes, and I think it’s time I did something about that”. He was never specific about what the mistakes was, but assuming they was mistakes made by all his previous selfs, then how about they do a series of Doctor Who where there are 13 individual episodes, and each one sees the current Doctor correct a mistake made by each of the different Doctor’s !! 😀

Episode 1 could be about a mistake made by the 1st Doctor that the current Doctor has to correct, then episode 2 about a mistake made by the 2nd, and so forth and so forth.

They could even do one where the Doctor corrects a mistake made by the War Doctor during the Time War perhaps.

Correcting the mistakes of his past selves 🙂

Do you think when the Doctor grabbed Caecilius’ hand to pull him into the TARDIS in the fires of Pompeii something happened that eventually allowed the twelfth Doctor to take his face. Some physic Vesuvius whatnot

That’s a good theory! Although, I read somewhere that when the Doctor got his new set of regenerations back on Trenzalore, he got that face as a punishment from the Time Lords as he wasn’t suppose to save Caecilius or his family as Pompeii was one of those fix point in time. So the Doctor got that face to remind him that he can’t just interfere in certain events by saving people… Yet, that doesn’t explain his character in Torchwood, but anyway I’m sure we will find out! 🙂

Wow I really like that theory actually, having to essentially wear anothers face to remind you of the mistakes you’ve made that’s kind of creepy

Can we take a moment and realize that nearly every Dalek story since 2005, there has been some sort of good Dalek. Series 1 the Dalek killed himself after essentially turning ‘good’ after his DNA got manipulated, series 3 the hybrid Dalek was the good Dalek, series 4, Dalek Caan was the good Dalek and betrayed Davros. Series 5 the Daleks were pretending to be good (maybe that doesn’t count). Series 6 even that crashed Dalek managed to be useful as the doctor gathered information from its power core and then we had Oswin and then Rusty last year. I’m seeing a trend here

      August 23rd, 2015 - 8:50pm

yes but t wouldn’t make it a good dalek. All the doctor did was capture it and get some information , The dalek didn’t make a good act.

wonder if the Daleks will recognise Clara, seeing as though they converted the Oswin Oswald echo of her and she became a Dalek.

The Clara conversion was in an asylum which was destroyed by the Daleks. The Clara conversion also ran a software update to destroy memories about or associated with the Doctor so there will be no memory of Clara in the Dalek memory noosphere.
This will be the first time that they have met her!

Francis – Your forgetting ‘The Time of the Doctor’, they encountered her in a room with the Doctor and Tasha Lem which Tasha later transmatted the Doctor and Clara down to Trenzalore from the aforementioned room.
