[Makes comparisons with images on Google from both episodes] Well I’ll be damned, so it is !!. Well spotted Dalek Skittles, you’ve just earned yourself a weekend trip into time and space with Clara and the new Doctor 😀

But Annnonymous, that doesn’t provide any evidence. Just because there is a correlation does not imply causation. Where has this ‘rule’ been said?

It seems all Whovians are on the same wavelength for once!!

Raston Warrior Robot = pure win! 😀 You can’t have the Whispermen without the Great Intelligence, though, as they are one and the same.

I wouldn’t object to new titles or Axos returning, but I don’t think a new TARDIS interior/exterior is necessary.

I’d prefer a male companion like Rory, actually, or a companion that’s either from another time, planet, or is an android.

    I want to see:
    New Paradigm Daleks
    The Valeyard
    More two-parters
A Sontaran story where Strax has to chose between the Paternoster Gang and other Sontarans
    Autons
    Gallifrey + Time Lords
    The Master
    Rassilon

  • Dalek the Supreme

    January 14th, 2014 - 2:21pm

No need, we already have Daleks from the Time War ruled over by the New Paradigm, the Master presumably was sent back to Gallifrey with Rassilon in The End of Time, and the Rani could have been anywhere, they just need to explain her presence. It would be interesting, though, to see a few of the horrors of the Time War beyond the Daleks and corrupt Time Lords.

The dropping of the bow tie was symbolic of the end of Matt’s era, and while it did suit the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor needs to develop his own style.

  • Dalek the Supreme

    January 14th, 2014 - 2:18pm

The fez and other such eccentric hats were an attribute of Matt’s Doctor. Peter Capaldi, like any new Doctor before him, is playing a new Doctor. He’s still the Doctor, but he also has elements of his own added to the mix.

    January 14th, 2014 - 2:14pm

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Daleks again if they can still come up with something new to do with them or add to the characters’ mythology, like in Asylum of the Daleks. I have to admit, I’d like to see Julian Bleach return as Davros, too, as long as his presence doesn’t outshine that of the Daleks themselves. What I really want to see most of all is the New Paradigm Daleks used to their full extent. While the design is extremely controversial, it’s hard to deny the hidden weapon, color-coded ranks, and the mysterious purpose of the Eternal Dalek hold some potential.

But as stated, Rory was another boyfriend character… We need another Jamie!

Essentially you just summed up McCoy – The cane being his umbrella (Didn’t have a sonic)and his personality being a mix of kindess toward Ace, but manipulation and ruthlessness towards his enemies. Plus, they’ll both have scottish accents!

Nope. The 4th Doctors question marks were gold and the shirt had stretched out collars, The Fifth Doctor’s question marks were red with a plain shirt, The Sixth Doctor’s shirt had red question marks with a chequered stripe down the middle of the buttons, and The a Seventh Doctor’s shirt didn’t have any question marks on it. Hope this helps

All of these ideas are great, and I hope Capaldi is like these ideas.

And Heres his loving Side So the Doctor could be a nightmare for his enemies, what about his companions? This is where he can show his loving side. While there should be no making out with other companions (I think I’ve seen enough of that from the past few Doctors), I still think he can show his love for humans. I believe that when it comes to his companions, he should act as if he was a father taking his son out on a day trip. The companions are almost like his family and thus, I think we should see that. If a Dalek so much as looks at a companion, I want to see the Doctor go into a powerful rage and destroy the Dalek. Shouting at his companions because they won’t listen to his instructions is another way to show this love. Even if it hurts their feelings, the Time Lord is only trying to protect them from disaster.

I also thought he might have a dark side! I mean If Matt was the man child, Capaldi should be the polar opposite. After his regeneration and during his scene in The Day of the Doctor, we saw something daring, something bold. Capaldi looked like a hunter, his anger aimed at anyone in his way. While the Doctor would never use a gun or hurt the innocent, he can still be angry. If you make the wrong move, this Doctor should hunt you down and turn you into dust. He could even start to show signs of the Valeyard, but if so, should keep it down to a minimum.
