My son spends 24/7 writing about Dr Who, namely a Dr Who Jnr, son of Dr Who as he explains it, weiting stories about what he could get up to, any idea’s on how i can explain to him that he can’t write stories on Dr Who Jnr as Dr Who or anything to do with Dr Who is c/w protected.

Seems to me that his writing up harmless fantasy stories about having adventures with the Doctor, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

For all we know, your son might grow up to be a famous writer, writing Doctor Who novels one day 😉

Writers like RTD ans Stevan Moffat started out like that. If your worried about copyright don’t be as DOCTOR WHO ONE said its just harmless fun as long as he does not profet or sell those storys the BBC don’t care. Sadley there are reall good fan scripts sent into the BBC but there never looked at

      Cheers Anonymous 😉

Anonymous is quite right, after all, look at the various Doctor Who fan’s who produce those Doctor Who Action Figure Adventures on YouTube, has the BBC ever tried to stop children from producing their own Doctor Who stories using action figures ? . . . . absolutely NOT . . . . cos they don’t care, so they won’t care if your son is writing his own fan fiction.

Fan fiction is a part of life for many Sci-Fi fan’s. Deviant Art for example features all kinds of fan fiction if you look it up.

If anything, I’d say it’s best for your son to continue to create his own Doctor Who stories, so that when his older, and maybe ends up working on Doctor Who in the future, then he can look back at the stories his writing now for inspiration for stories that might some day end up on screen 🙂

I don’t know if anyone will agree with me about this, but Ive come across an American actor when I was looking at the London MCM Expo website called Raphael Sbarge who looks like he could play Peter Davison’s 5th Doctor for an 11 Doctors story IF it was to happen. Look up on Google –

Raphael Sbarge Once Upon a Time

And then check out the picture of him wearing glasses and holding an umbrella. He does sort of look like the 5th Doctor wearing his glasses in my opinion.

Aint gonna happen mate. That’s just a fantasy that sadly will never become a reality. I wish fan’s would get over the idea and just accept it will never happen. The first three actors to play the Doctor are dead, whoever could play their Doctors obviously won’t be that convincing, the Baker Doctors are sadly overweight and look nothing like they did in the 70’s and 80’s, and Christopher Eccleston want’s NOTHING to do with Doctor Who these days, yet it seems no one ever listens to him.

And please, don’t tell his changed his mind, cos Ive found no proof on the Internet that says otherwise. Every interview involving Doctor Who with Chris, he always says he does not wish to return, yet still, no body listens carefully to what he is saying, except me offcourse.

Well in time crash because two doctors were together the 5th doctor aged prahaps that can be the explanation for tom and the others getting old. Plus we have pretty much perfected CGI so we can use CGI to animated the fiest three doctors. As for chris well at the end of rose the TARDIS leaves but just a second later it returns wirh the doctor explaineing that it is a time machine well what happond impertween. They could just do what they did with tom bakee in the five doctors

Recasting the Doctor’s would be hard but i had to do it i’d pick:
1: William Hartnell – David Bradley
2: Patrick Troughton – Daniel Radcliffe
3: Jon Pertwee – Ian McKellen
4: Tom Baker – Benedict Cumberbatch
5: Peter Davison – Rupert Graves
6: Colin Baker – Rupert Grint
7: Sylvester McCoy – Mark Sheppard
      8: Paul McGann
      9: Christopher Eccelston
      10: David Tennant
      11: Matt Smith

Luckly i’ve actually meet Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann and Mark Sheppard and soon going to meet Peter and Colin!

So the Ice Warriors ARE being brought back ? Or to be more accurate, being “Revitalised”.

I told myself not o believe it until I saw concrete evidence, but there you have it. Hope they’re atleast green, and Mark Gatiss hasn’t buggerd them up as he did the Daleks, but from what Moffat has said it looks to be a success ❗

The new series of doctor who is not very good. The writeing is terrible and it is to comedic. The companions are pompus and rude, the story lines are complicated and the doctor is less mysteryous. I want dr who to return to the classic fotmat with violant storys, horrific monsters and the cartmel masterplan

Hey, some people actually enjoy the writing. I might not be to huge a fan of the RTD era (Though it was still good when the writers were thinking straight), the Steven Moffat era has introduced my favorite Doctor, my favorite Daleks, and my favorite episode. The storylines make you think. I like storylines that make you think than give a rushed, tacked on explanation. The Doctor is perfectly mysterious. The mystery of his name is even greater now. Actually, he’s more mysterious now than in the Classic Series because we don’t have other Time Lords to tell us about his past. If the Silents aren’t horrific, than I’m a goldfish named Colin.

When amy asks if the doctor had children he does not reply. We all know he had children. He has mentiond it hundreds of times and of course theres susan you know his granddaughter. When I mean I want mystery back into the doctor I mean things like is he more than just a time lord is id god or something you know the doctor being master of his own destiney like the seventh doctor

    • DalekTheSupreme

      February 22nd, 2013 - 4:05pm

It’s been proved he’s more than just another Time Lord now, what with the question and all that. Maybe RTD took away some mystery about the Doctor, but Steven Moffat seems to be giving it back. And I agree about the Seventh Doctor being great because of the level of mystery he had.

Anonymous – Well I’m sure the answer to your question is so obvious that you wouldn’t have needed to ask – their all dead 😛

Plus don’t forget, the Doctor lost everyone on Gallifrey [“There all gone now . . my family . . my friends, even that sky”] and the Doctor is a very private person, which I myself and a lot of people can understand, cos sometimes I lie in order to protect myself for some reason or other cos if you miss someone who for example is dead that you loved so much and your never going to see again, then obviously it hurts.

It’s supposed to be a family show, and if it feels Americanized, that’s because Moffat is trying to appeal to American viewers. The only companions I recall being pompous and full of themselves were Rose and occasionally Donna. Doctor Who is a family show, and while it would be nice to have slightly more violent episodes, it is still a family show.

    • McGann is the Doctor.

      February 22nd, 2013 - 6:15pm

I doubt that Moffat is trying to appeal to americans, he certainly wouln’t change the style of the show just to get americans to like it, Doctor Who is successful partly because of it’s british style, specially in America ! The favourite Doctor was Tom Baker in America, was that because he was “AMERICANISED” ? 😛

I don’t think the show is to American actually I think the doctor who movie was very American and torchwood was also Americanise and now I think where heading up to the 50th I think we will have it back to 95% British and 5% alien

    • DalekTheSupreme

      February 22nd, 2013 - 1:27pm

I really actually enjoyed nearly all the Masters. I’m not sure about Geofforey Beavers because I haven’t watched The Keeper of Trakken in years, but Peter Pratt was amazing in the role. I’ve seen three stories with Roger Delgado, and he’s quickly becoming my favorite Master. Anthony Ainley was pretty good too, Derek Jacobi should’ve been around for longer, John Simm wasn’t the best but was pretty entertaining. Eric Roberts is the only one I don’t like.

I do like the Master, but I don’t see why fan’s keep wanting him back when they know all about his backstory now to why he became evil, the man was a victim since the age of 8, and now that he had redeemed himself, his now resting in peace, so why can’t fan’s just leave him alone ?.

It’s Cumberbatch I can’t stand, just looking at him irritates me, and what kind of surname is Cumberbatch anyway ? something that rhymes with Cucumber –

      Benedict Cucumberbatch !!:P

i just read some rumors that kind of tie in with ones we have hear before that the eye of harmony is seen in journey to the center of the tardis and in the finale we see river songs gravestone and there was some more but i don’t want to spoil it too much

    • DOCTOR WHO ONE

      February 21st, 2013 - 3:09pm

I thought the Eye of Harmony [or rather the Tardis’ link to the Eye of Harmony back on Gallifrey] would no longer be inside the Tardis.

Cos considering that the Eye of Harmony itself no longer exists since Gallifrey is destroyed, and the Tardis’ link to the Eye of Harmony seen in the TV Movie surely no longer exists either, then the only way for the Doctor to now refuel the Tardis herself is that rift in Cardiff as seen in Series 1 [Boomtown] and Series 3 [Utopia].

But since you just mentioned that this is a rumour, it may not be the Eye of Harmony in the Tardis.

As for River’s Gravestone, I doubt it, cos since her body burnt up when she sacrificed herself inside the Library, there would be no body to bury, so a Gravestone would be a bit pointless, since she’s ment to live on in that virtual world.

Personally, I wish fan’s would just get over the Master already. His dead now, and we all know his backstory on why he became evil, ALL because of Rassilon, it was Rassilon who turned in an innocent 8 year old boy into a heartless Psychopath as part of a plan to return Gallifrey and the Time Lords to the Universe out of that Time Lock, and the Master offcourse re-deemed himself, he turned good again, he saved his old friend-turned-enemy-turned-friend the Doctor, and then fired blasts of energy at Rassilon, sending himself, Rassilon and the other Time Lords and Gallifrey back into hell and died with them as a good man who redeemed himself, so he had a happy ending, so I wish fan’s would let him rest in peace [R.I.P. No, he should remain dead, theres no need to bring him back, we know why he became the Master, he was a victim all along, and now that victim has been laid to rest.

And as for that Benedict Cumberbatch – no thanks, I can’t stand him.

John Simm’s Master was awesome, but now the Master is deceased forever and has redeemed himself for the evil man he became because of Rassilon, his now resting in peace, and god I wish fan’s would leave him too.

Davros may as well be viewed as the arch-nemesis of the Doctor now.

    • John Smith

      February 22nd, 2013 - 10:49am

I really don’t want the Master to go! He’s been the essential Doctor Who enemy since the 70’s onwards. His body slowly decayed and he found a way to come back, he got slowly disintegrated and STILL he found a way to come back, he was executed by the Dalek’s and he wriggled his way into a human body, he got shot by his own wife and once again, CAME BACK! What does that say? The Master always finds a way TO COME BACK!

    • DalekTheSupreme

      February 22nd, 2013 - 1:32pm

Thanks! My only regret is the Master will never encounter my favorite incarnation of the Doctor (Matt Smith). And Davros should definately return. Actually, to be honest, I’d love to see an episode where he returns, but is somehow possessed by Fenric. Unlikely, but one can always hope
