Journey to the Centre of the Tardis
Ashley Walters on his Doctor Who role: you’ll see more of the Tardis than ever before…
From www.radiotimes.com
Speaking to RadioTimes.com, Ashley revealed he finished filming his episode – Journey to the Centre of the Tardis – two weeks ago. “You can’t beat being in Doctor Who – it’s something I’ve grown up with my whole life and working with Matt Smith was amazing. He’s a really, really good actor and just being a part of that huge BBC franchise was an incredible thing. And Jenna Louise Coleman is really good at what she does – it seems like she’s enjoying her job and I loved working with her.”

October 25th, 2012 - 4:45pmI wonder if Jenna Louise Colman
will be playing the same character as Oswin in asylum of the Daleks . Pls inform me before I waste a fortune on phsycoligy!
doctorwhoone
November 5th, 2012 - 10:11amNo, she is not playing Oswin Oswald, as that character was mutated into a Dalek and later destroyed along with all the other Daleks when the Asylum planet was destroyed.
This time she is playing Clara Oswin, a woman from the Victorian era, who maybe related in someway to Oswin Oswald, perhaps as Oswin’s great great [several times great] grandmother or some other sort of family relation.
Think of Adeola and her cousin Martha Jones, 2 completely different women, but both played by one actress.
Fields of Trenzalore fall of the elevent silence will fall the question dr who
October 24th, 2012 - 5:45pmI think this will be good I love to see more tardis rooms maybe the centre is the eye of harmony or some dark terrible secret, maybe an unknown force is at the heart of the tardis, dream lord or omega

October 24th, 2012 - 10:06amGreat news ! I was just thinking they should use the Tardis corridors (seen in the Doctor’s wife) in episodes.
But Steven Moffat isn’t keen on having “The tardis reduced to a bunch of corridors”.
So I don’t think we’ll be getting an episode like the start of Terminus where the tardis crew are just strolling down the corridors.

October 23rd, 2012 - 4:09pmWell, let’s see… they’ve been basing all the Christmas specials on other stories recently…
doctorwhoone
October 24th, 2012 - 9:09amOr rather Steven Moffat has been basing the past 2 Christmas Specials on 2 well known stories recently.
Maybe his become lazy and decided that every Christmas story he writes should just be a well known Christmas story with the Doctor involved, like saying ‘I wounder what would happen if the Doctor was involved in ‘A Christmas Carol’ ?”, and then he just goes and does it, change the names of the main characters from the story his basing it on, and that’s that.
Sheer Laziness.

October 24th, 2012 - 10:04amI read that his years christmas special (no doubt christmassier than ever, which is what they have said for every Matt Smith christmas special so far) will be based on the snowman.
WHEN, when I ask, are they going to do one about the grinch who stole christmas ?! ❗

October 23rd, 2012 - 8:34amSeems to me like their going to be doing their own version of ‘The Invasion of Time’ where they featured various parts of the Tardis not seen before such as the swimming pool and a sickbay.
Actually, does the Tardis really have a centre ? cos considering it’s been said to constantly expand well beyond the main console room, it can’t surely therefore have a centre.
Who know, just have to wait and see.

October 23rd, 2012 - 3:08pmYeah, it’s likely to one of the series 7 part 2 episodes in early 2013 or whenever likely the rest of series 7 is to be broadcast, hopefully not too long after Christmas.
That Cherub over there
October 23rd, 2012 - 4:30pmI’m afraid there will be quite a wait after Christmas. Part 2 doesn’t start till Spring. 🙂

December 20th, 2012 - 6:06amProof that the Tardis would have a center even if it expanded infinitely:
On a piece of paper draw a circle and draw a dot in the center. Expand the circle, equally around the center by one inch. The dot you drew previously is still the center. Expand the circle equally around the center again by another inch. The dot you drew is still the center of the new circle. Now expand equally around the center taking the limit to infinity. Despite an infinitely large circle, the dot is still the one and only one center point of the circle. QED

RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
October 22nd, 2012 - 7:09pmi loved that one!! wait… the doctors wife right?
Esterath
October 22nd, 2012 - 8:25pmYeah, I loved it. But hardly any new TARDIS rooms just sopme corridors, plus it would’ve been better if there was a classic TARDIS, don’t like David’s TARDIS.
MasterKasterborous
October 22nd, 2012 - 10:48pmIt would have had more TARDIS rooms but the budget wouldn’t stretch…
doctorwhoone
October 23rd, 2012 - 8:28amEsterath – Actually the previous version of the Tardis belonged to the 9th Doctor, but fan’s more associate it with the 10th cos he had way more stories then the 9th with the previous version of the Tardis console room.
Esterath
October 23rd, 2012 - 6:12pmI know, but TDW was meant to feature Rory trapped in the Zero Room and Amy swimming in the swimming pool!!
Whovian
October 25th, 2012 - 11:21amThat would have made a great episode amazong!
Tardis’nt
October 22nd, 2012 - 6:22pmyay!
The TARDIS
October 22nd, 2012 - 6:19pmYay! Finally, we get to see more of the indise of the TARDIS! It’s something the new series has shied away from, and the classic series did too much – hopefully this will sit somewhere in between. Really emphasise that the interior of the TARDIS goes on forever, but not go on about it.
crazy guy
October 22nd, 2012 - 6:02pmi hope this is true this would be a awesome episode to watch
