8 million is good figure,we should not worry and having seen vieweing figures for previous seasons this is comparable,we need to lighten up and enjoy the show.

i think less and less people are watching doctor who, the overnight figures for the eleventh hour was 10.8 milon, look at this, i still love doctor who, but i think some familys don’t like theway it has been spread out, on the virginmedia webpage they even said that they had lost the plot, with this series they find out something then go off on more adventures, like the pirate ep, whereas series 5, the crack in time was constantly there, it made sense, what do you think?

As we have said all season, you cant call the viewing figures till the full figures are in and that wont be till next weekend. With more people using iplayer and digital recordings people choose when to watch shows now. This is even more true for Drama and Factual shows. Comparing overnights is pointless and are only used either as intentionally warped stats on some newspapers with axes to grind or bad journos who know nothing about what they are reporting. As we have seen all season, the final figures athis year are very comparable with previous years. Best thing to do when you see articles analysing overnights against the past is to just ignore them.

Too much worry on viewing figures this year. Too many bad articles. Dr Who is not in danger of being cancelled so lets enjoy the shows and stop worrying on overnights. Does Xfactor become quality because it attracts more than a
Shakespeare play? Quality matters, not quantity. So far this season has been fun and hardly too complicated

Although Doctor Who should have been the most watched. All the X Factor is is just a talent show! Doctor Who is better than that!

See…..! Putting it on at a slightly later time increases the audience figures. A brilliantly well written episode tying up quite a few story lines from the last 2 series. 🙂

I agree that it wasnt the best. Cant believe how people think it was the best episode ever, too complex and too many questions again. the story arc goes on and on and on…
Question, how did Rory and Amy get back to Earth from Demons Run? Still no explaination for what created the cracks in time last season. Hmmm. Too many plot holes unexplained. Im a long term Who fan but i long for stand alone stories.

The x factor is rubbish compared to Doctor Who. Last nights episoe(DW) was awsome. (Apart from it being called Let’s Kill Hitler)
