Miracle Day USA Premiere Date and Poster Revealed!

Torchwood: Miracle Day Premiere Date and Poster Revealed!

Exclusively revealed today at www.tvline.com

Get ready for some serious fireworks this July.

TVLine can exclusively reveal that Torchwood: Miracle Day — the rapturously anticipated fourth season of the UK phenom — will make its stateside debut on Starz on Friday, July 8.

“Not a single person on Earth dies” Torchwood boss Russell T. Davies recently explained. “The old stay old. It’s great news for some people, but globally it’s an instant population boom. Earth relies on people dying. Suddenly you’re affecting everyone on the planet. That’s where the Torchwood team comes in.”

I’m from the US. Not all of us are terrible.
I despise the poster. It’s cheesy and way to much of a spoiler.
Also, it’s obviously not a STARZ ORIGINAL. Stupid channel. Hate them. -_-
I think it should have stayed in the UK, in my opinion. It makes now sense to take the WHOLE show and move it to the US.
We’re boring over here anyways. Haha.

Also, there are alot of shows I have heard about or seen clips that we dont get in America. One movie I would have loved to have seen was Beyond the Rave. I played the online games from day 1 and was one of about 300 people in the US that begged to get the movie, but they wont send it to the US. Its not a one way deal guys.

Trying to get my head around the god awful poster.. I see the Americans have screwed that up too.. This is what happens when you let them in on stuff… The BBC still own it so how the feck can it be an ‘ordinal series’

Yes again the BBC have failed the UK fans by being utter rubbish at giving up updates. So while we all sit here in the UK scathing out butt’s our American cousins get to see preview clips and get air dates! What do the loyal UK fans get? A flipping head ache! Come on BBC get off your butts and do your damn job.

I am really very cross because I am a long term fan, and I expect us UK fans to be treated with some respect but as normal we get second hand news and no air date as of yet. This had best be shown at or around the same day as the states or I am going to complain and you know what, I don’t think I’d be the only one from the UK contingent who would go after the BBC with pith forks… This is not good enough. Its meant to be a collaboration between the lot, I see Starz don’t play by the rules.. What a shocker.. not..

    Sort it out.

Well said.. I think the whole original series is a bit of dupe by them, I hope the BBC have a better poster because that is kinda lazy and very obvious… Also while I am on my soap box about this, why have Starz not even given the BBC a mention? The BBC funded a sizable chunk so what’s that about? Its still owned by the BBC, Starz just came in to help them out so it’s rubbish the poster has no BBC mention..

We should have known by now that the BBC don’t give a hoot what we think after they just ignored our concerns about the states colab… I should hope our air date is the same as theirs… But as the BBC have told us diddly squat, we know nothing… Typical…

Why on earth are Starz referring to it as an ‘ ‘starz original series’ its not is it? Also its a collaboration right with BBC Wales and Starz so does that mean we get it aried at the same time, or do they get it first? Surely its a collaborative thing then we should get it at the same time on the bbc.. Not being funny I don’t even think we have starz in the UK… W

Why has the BBC not released any trailers of there own, its a collaborative, they banged on enough about that fact… I thank the UK fans should be given just as much news as the State fans since it is still being made with BBC Wales and Starz… I can’t be the only who thinks its nor fair us UK fans know hardly anything…

I dont like the Title, what on Earth was wrong with calling it Torchwood – the New World ?, it just sounds so much better, and for Torchwood, it would in away be a new World, since Jack and Gwen are ment to have new team members and a new Hub built under the famous Hollywood sign.

It won’t be the same date here. Because it is being promoted in the US, they will get it first – then we will get it.

Well that sucks… Its not fair on the loyal UK based fans that have been there since the start… Its annoying we get little or no news what so ever and its being made by both the BBC and Starz… Urgh…. I hope they don’t take to long to let us see it in the UK… 🙁

I think maybe Starz need reminding what a collaboration means…

Hey now I have been a fan since it came out, but we (“US”) are usually the last ones to know anything. And it being on STARZ means that most of us wont get to see it at all. Unless you will pay the extra money for that channel. I only hope they play it on other channels or on hulu so we can see it! I DO agree though, the American designers of the poster did do a horrible job and I also agree it would be better managed by BBC. But atleast its coming back at all. So many good shows like that are just cancelled and never thought of again!

Stephanie, it might be on Netflix. They play a lot of the Starz shows.
