From The BBC…

Her first episode will be the Xmas special.

There will be 6 episodes this year, including the Xmas Special. Then 8 next year. Jenna’s character will first be seen at Xmas.

Steven Moffat “Amy & Rory will leave in a final encounter with the Weeping Angels in ep 5. Not everyone gets out alive and I mean it this time

i have a great theory (well i think it is anyway):

the weeping angels will send amy and rory back in time so they sort of die but not actually, like rose did

Forgot to mention that they could be sent to where melody pond is in America as then they can bring her up themselves as I think is isnt very good that Amy and Rory have a child and lose them, especially on a family show

Not happy. I know Moffat said that there would be no Who until autumn, but I reeeeaaally hoped that the theories about series 7 split over two years would come out false. You’ve let us down, BBC…

Look at the ‘Death’ of a character with Donna Noble: She didn’t really die it was the ‘Death’ of that personality. I wouldn’t get hung up on the ‘Death’ angle…

    Quote form Steven Moffat

“Who she’s playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl.”

almost sound like we have met her before

She could be Jenny, the doctors daughter as at the end she said something about it isn’t the last time he meets her and he will have to meet her again soon or she will have been forgotten about

      Who agrees?

    • Anonymous

      March 22nd, 2012 - 7:23pm

Jenny was kept alive at the personal request of Moffat as a back up plan in csae whoever would be eventually cast as Amy Pond left after one series and he needed another explanation for who River Song was.

One good theory that I’ve heard is that the Doctor finds out that Amy killed Madame Kovarian and, even though it was in an alternative timeline, turns his back on her and sends her and Rory home.

      March 21st, 2012 - 6:19pm

I know that most people want the Ponds to stay with us, but I do think that big, emotional exits are far more effective than just suddenly leaving at the end of an episode. Deaths are very effective – killing off Adric actually made people care about him, and with such popular companions as the Ponds would, if done well(which it will be, being written by Moffat) could be brilliant. My only problem would be it is a story mid-way through a series, which means we are not left on it for a long time to feel sad until the Doctor returns.

    • booboo

if its one continuous series then it has to be November – there is nothing at the moment which says any of this will be part of the 5oth anniversary

    • Anonymous

      March 21st, 2012 - 7:03pm

Apparently Steven Moffat has confirmed that it will be the series after this that includes the 50th anniversary, although how it will work is of course completely unknown.

Although there is an advantage to this type of broadcasting, we can estimate that the show will be returning about the 17th of November.

it says on the official website that the doctor meets her in a dramatic turn of events. wonder what it is. heres some off my ideas:
    Shes a robot
    She kills amy and rory
    Shes susan
    Shes Romana 3
Any one else got any ideas

and the new compaingion first apperence is in the xmas special so by then amy and rory would have alredy left

I thought the angels sent you back in time – to quote the Doctor..

“The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely. No mess, no fuss, they just zap you into the past and let you live to death.”

Nice thought though…suitably dark for my taste 🙂

The good news: That this was published in the lunchbreak so I could spend a 10 minuts to find out what the h… their thinking about.

The bad news: Its only bad news…. Seems like they just thinking “we never going to top Karen anyway, so lets just find someone who makes the Doctor look good and dont steal all the attention.”

But this is just my reaction. And I know that redheads/blondes with a decent height just like ms. Gillan is just my type of girls. After all, it has a few benefits to watch DW with a partner who can identify herself with ms. Gillan. But his girl? No offence, but I probably wouldnt noticed her at all. And I’m afraid that the comments at home will be even less flattering. So this is bad, bad news….
