(since no-one is talking about the next companion, ) I think the Tetraps would make an excellent monster/character to use in the series , they could be done WAY better than Time and the Rani (“The mistress will be over…………joyed.” Don’t count on it, she’s the Rani, crazy talking animal 😆 )

Their voices were great monster-voices, although the dialogue they got, wasn’t quite so great in that story. ❗ And they can see in all directions, what a great character to use ! 😀

I thought The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone was ok but the Angels lost their touch a bit (no pun intended!). Matt, Karen and Alex saved the show though.
I’m looking forward to their appearance in Series 7! Can’t wait to see what happens!

I think they will to be honest. Who else would die. In a way I want them to die so it isn’t all happy ending, and we know they are leaving anyway, however they are great actors and characters, so I don’t want them to die there. I still think people who die gives a lot more atmosphere to a show.

I’m sad that Amy and Rory are gonna die. It is good to see them leave, as everyone has in the past, but them dying is gonna be sad. The Weeping Angels’ return is something I knew they were gonna do. As for the Daleks, I am praying that Moffat does something good with them. As good as Victory of the Daleks was, it could have been a lot better. All hail the new Daleks!

I liked series 6… probably not as much (overall) as series 5, but I still liked it.

“The Doctor’s Wife” I think now is my all-time favourite episode, and I loved “The Almost People” too. (How could you not love a Ganger Doctor?) XD

      March 23rd, 2012 - 6:27am

same. I think the reason people didn’t lke series 6 was because they didn’t like the scilence plot line and say the series was bad rather than that. The only episodes i didn’t like were lets kill hitler, curse of the black spot and some of the rebel flesh but hay, every series has its bad episodes. the overall series was exellent with some clever episodes such as the opening 2 parts, the doctors wife, and night terrors. blimey this is a long comment!

Of course the Doctor married River. He had parental consent from Amy and Rory, but it is not legally documented. The Doctor will not “manifest” into the Valeyard. The Valeyard is a part of the Doctor that manifests itself into a separate form. It is unknown if/when the Valeyard will make an appearance. The Daleks are in the space/time continuum – although an exact trace cannot be matched. They will return in Series 7 (my money’s on Episode 4). We do not know what was in the Doctor’s room – nobody does apart from Toby Whithouse and Steven Moffat, given they have spoken of it.

The “Marmite” series – series 6 will split fans down the middle for decades. Personally, I thought it was one of the most imaginative series in DW history and not just drew on the wealth of DW mythology but actually added to it in a signficant way. I loved the dark elements and the more mature story lines. It did hurt my brain a little though so I am more than happy for series 7 to be 14 seperate adventures without a major arc….but Series 6 was, for me, a rollacoster ride – loved it!

I know they were Moffat’s creation and Blink possibly the story that made his name but maybe the Angels should have just stopped in Wester Drumlins. Its not that I don’t think they’re a good monster its just that I think they’ve been a bit overused and its said that Amy and Rory’s last story will be with them.

      March 22nd, 2012 - 3:18am

I acually disagree, yes if they were brought back they would be overused. But those were good episodes, and to new fans, these monsters are as iconic as the Cyberman, Yeti, or Daleks are they used to be. Also the crack closed so the Angels had nothing to defeat them. A mirror perhaps? Anyway if he shows them again, show the Angels that were in the timeline where there was no crack. I think Moffat ruined River abit through.

I totally agree with Tardistik. Hopefully this will be the last time we see them. I think they are really clever monsters but i do also think that have been overused

      March 22nd, 2012 - 10:42am

As far as I’m concerned the angel 2-parter in series 5 was amazing. In reality the angels have only appeared in Blink, a two-parter and in a tiny cameo in The God Complex. If you think how many times true greats like the cybermen and daleks have appeared, this is a tiny amount indeed next to them! They’re great monsters and i hope they keep coming back…
