April 29th, 2018 - 7:53pmAlan Davis? Awesome as a slightly cynical, down to earth companion maybe.
I’m very hopeful for 13. If only for the chance that Bella Ramsey might be 15 ish ( y’know when she’s done her schooling and uni or what ever). GOT & TWW have made me a huge fan. If anyone can sell a 2000 plus alien, this is the girl. Amazing.
That said, I am super excited to see what Jodie does with the Doctor. Every Doctor is a risk & this one more than ever. I just hope she is given a chance to shine. Her little smile in OUAT was fabulous. Brilliant, one might say. How long ’til we actually find out? (It’s a sport year I think – a few months then.)

February 3rd, 2018 - 3:18amWhen I first here the new Doctor would be a woman I was genuinely disappointed. Why? When they named Jodie Whitteger I was exceedingly surprised and truly excited. Can’t wait ! She can pull this off. The Doctor has been women before, we just never saw that part. Well we saw Doctor Donna for a few minutes . Lol. It’ll be great since the reboot they’ve all been brilliant!

January 23rd, 2018 - 8:21amNot happy with the idea of a female doctor. It just doesn’t feel right. He wouldn’t have the right chromosomes when he regenerated
A
January 23rd, 2018 - 6:40pmI think regeneration is slightly beyond mere biology. If it was simply a matter of chromosomes, all Doctors would look like Hartnell. I assume all chromosomes change in the process, meaning it is possible for the “y” chromosome to become an “x”.

January 20th, 2018 - 6:12pmA women in charge of the Tardis – brilliant, cant wait for the next series.

July 23rd, 2018 - 1:15pmWhen does it start? I am looking forward to it
The Outcast
July 23rd, 2018 - 2:34pmI’d like to know that too. The BBC have yet to announce it. Current estimates are sometime in September/early October.

January 19th, 2018 - 8:26pmA female Doctor is the last thing we need
T.A
January 21st, 2018 - 11:44amBlame chibnall and the bbc. By doing this they have shown they don’t have much respect for the fan base, and just want to seem progressive to new fans, who just care about being pc.
The Living Shadow
January 21st, 2018 - 7:12pmWell we don’t “need” a female doctor. We don’t “need” a male Doctor either. You mean you don’t want a Doctor who is female.
Honestly, the writing is the most worrying thing at this point. The casting has given Doctor Who publicity -possibly the most publicity since the show’s revival- now it’s crucial that Chibnall can get people on board with his (hopefully good) writing.

May 28th, 2018 - 4:04amI can’t believe that the female fan base is against a female Doctor. The Master turned female, why can’t the Doctor? Seriously people? It’s not about being pc, it’s about who can pull the roll off. And frankly, none of the males mentioned as possibilities strike me as someone who could pull it off. If we had to lose Peter Capaldi we need someone who can fill his shoes. And gender is not an issue when it comes to the ability to play the roll. Get over yourselves and have open minds.
T.A
May 28th, 2018 - 12:37pmIt’s not about the gender, it’s about the un subtle political bias, the bbc has implanted in to doctor who recently. The fans are worried
T.A
May 28th, 2018 - 12:43pmSorry I pressed enter by mistake. What I was saying is that the fans are worried that this is stunt casting, and more biased lines like in hell bent will come in to the show. I personal don’t mind a male or female doctor, or political episodes such as the zygote two parter, but I don’t political lines that are biased and make certain people seem lower, but if the roles were reversed it would be made out like that person is hating.

January 17th, 2018 - 7:20pmNo More Woman’s Doctor, Next Doctor Male Doctor and not a Woman
