Clara receives a letter summoning her to a mysterious meeting, where she is given a message for the Doctor.

The meaning is uncertain, but when an enemy strikes the Time Lord is left with no choice but to travel to the one place in time and space he should never go – into a deadly trap that threatens to unravel his past, present and future.

I have a theory on tonight’s episode although i’m unsure how accurate this may be as I missed a couple of episodes this series. The leaf in ep 2 could have been stronger memories than the doctor’s if clara actually turned out to be his saviour throughout all of time and his incarnations as the trailers and pics would suggest.

I have an episode idea for the 50th.

Perhaps if John Simm came back and reprised his role of the master, it would explain why Doctors 4-7 have aged. The master could have used his laser screwdriver and aged them, thus far having Doctors 1-3 dead because of aging them too much.

This idea would fit perfectly into the actual actors nowadays and justifies why they have aged instead of bringing them back with no explanation. It would be a great way to bring back Doctors and even possibly past companions aswell.

Can you all please let me know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated!

That’s actually a really good idea. I’d love to see the John Simm’s master regenerate though. I want Steve John Shepherd to be the next master.

if the master went back and killed the first doctor, then there would be no more doctors. plus everything he’s done since would no longer have happened

From what I’ve seen in the next time trailer and from the Strax field report it looks as if Strax’s punishment as a nurse is over and it looks like he’s going to betray the others and then Vastra kills him?

The Doctor has been shown to cry afew times in the past.

The first time on screen that the Doctor is show shedding a tear goes all the way back to Series 1 of the new series, when a character called Jabe reveals to the Doctor that she knows where he comes from, that she is sorry for his lose, which we later discover to be the Time War and everything that happened during it.

He looks at her for afew seconds, and a tear can be seen dripping down one of his eyes.

I’d imagine it’s like the letter ment for Marty McFly at the end of one of the ‘Back to the Future’ films where the Doc makes sure that someone meets Marty at a curtain location at a curtain date and time, so it seems that it has taken this letter ages to arrive to Clara before she was even more.

And people think the Royal Mail dilivering the post is bad 😀

The only thing that bothers me about this summons from Vastra, Jenny and Strax is how on Earth is Clara supposed to meet them them on Trenzalore when she don’t even have a Tardis, let alone fly one, cos if the Doctor was not around then sending someone a message and expecting them to travel back in time without a Time Machine would be pretty stupid.

Yea but remember the Doctor arrives on Wednesdays, she just needs to wait till then. My guess is that coincidentally, its a Wednesday!
