I wonder if the Eternal Dalek, that as yet has no purpose, will be behind this revival of every single variant? Food for thought…

I always thought it’s purpose was time-travel. Maybe the Eternal’s pulling all these Daleks out of time, to make the ultimate Dalek army!

      Just on the subject
maybe the Eternal is for replacing the supreme if it blows up or something, so it changes its casing and a new special kind of Dalek mutant takes its place and so on….

I always think eternal is abit like the cult of skaro find anyway to make sure the daleks survive. The eternals purpose is to make sure when all else fails to survive !!!

      April 5th, 2012 - 8:26am

Well, Skaro has never been seen depicted with snow covered all over it’s surface, plus Skaro is said to be completely destroyed, unless they’ve gone back to a time before it’s destruction. On the other hand, it may not be Skaro, could be right here on Earth in the Antartic. Then again [ and I’m not being serious, just saying this for a laugh ], it could be the ice planet Hoth from Star Wars – Episode V : The Empire Strikes Back !! 😀

    • Jason doctorwhoone

      April 5th, 2012 - 8:28am

Talking of Hoth, imagine a paradigm Dalek being squashed to death by an AT-AT Walker from The Empire Strikes Back . . . . SPLAT !! 😛 . . . . could explain the Eyestalk in the snow in the Series 7 trailer.

Good idea for an episode, even though the Flood scare me. But I think I’m starting to think they aren’t scary anymore, as everyday I wake up and I find them less scary. Finally I can watch it-in a few months. 😀

  • The 14th Doctor

    April 2nd, 2012 - 5:09pm

The Doctor lands on a snowy planet, where he discovers the Paradigm Dalek’s are mining through the crust of the planet (ring any bells) in order to reach a tomb of ancient Daleks (60’s and 70’s most likely.) They are doing this in order to obtain Daleks which do two things. Give them information and secrets about the Dalek past and act as their slaves (as the Paradigm Daleks are pure, it is logical that the classics would obey them.) The Doctor is worried that the old Daleks will reveal something that he does not want revealed like how to revive Davros or prevent the Doctor from altering their creation. In order to ensure that they do not do this, he travels back in time to enlist the help of the RTD Daleks, who arrive on the planet and launch a surprise attack on the Paradigm and classic Daleks.

    My evidence:
1: the new picture of Matt and Karen with a 60’s dalek shows that dalek to be covered in cobwebs, indicating that it could be buried and neglected.

2: The eye that comes out of the snow is a paradigm eye, indicating that whatever operation is being carried out on the planet, it is the paradigm daleks behind it.

3: It is illogical that the classic daleks would be hostile towards the new paradigm as the new paradigm daleks are both pure, and miles more powerful than them.

rtd daleks are pure in some eps SO THEY WOULD WORK WITH THE NEW DALEKS AND OLD DALEKS but in afew they are uncean and if they were unclean tey would demand to be EXETERMINATED!

I’ve just realised: The Ponds won’t die! Stven Moffat is tricky, like what he did with River. 😉

My theory is that the Weeping Angels turn them in to stone. I know it’s horrible, but what else?

Or else Moffat hasn’t got a trick this time, they do die. It’ll probably be something like Rose. Save the world and they die or save them and the world is doomed.

    Any other theories?? 😀

weeping angels can send people back in time so maybe the angels send The Ponds to the past.

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      March 31st, 2012 - 5:10pm

Yes, but in The Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, the Angels had evolved into sadistic killers. If they’re constantly evolving then it’s possible they could turn people into stone.

    • Mr who 63

      March 31st, 2012 - 5:39pm

Yeh, but Karen Gillan said she wanted to be out for good, and Steve Moffat, that is the man who turned doctor who upside down, he could do anything!
Maybe Rory leaves Amy for Jenna Louise Colmens’ character.

    • Anonymous

      March 31st, 2012 - 6:12pm

Steven Moffat isn’t really into killing people, so as he has pointed out he really needs to start making up for years of neglecdting it.

    • The Stetson of Chaos

      March 31st, 2012 - 6:36pm

Turning them in to stone won’t kill them, as they will then become Angels (that’s my theory). There are so many ways:

      1) My theory.
      2) Get killed by one.
      3) Go to the past.
      4) Leave the Doctor in a “heartbreaking” way.

Guys, heartbreaking doesn’t mean only DEATH!

Ooh, now that I said Death, I’d love a story with Death in it. 8)
And also who else would love a Halloween Special, cause I would! 😀 😀

    • GreenAnchorRedWaterfall

      April 1st, 2012 - 3:54pm

I think the way to depart the Ponds is:

      1) Torture them by the Weeping Angels departing Rory and Amy with a touch. Rory dies before Amy is even born! Mind-twisting!

      2) The Weeping Angels snap their necks. OW!

      3) The Weeping Angels are not the only monster there; all of the Doctor’s foes are there to preserve a crystal (like Doctor Who: Worlds In Time) and use it to wipe out all life on Earth. The Daleks succeed in the plan and Rory is left on Earth while Amy is shopping on Starship UK.

    • Give me a Dalek any day

      April 1st, 2012 - 4:07pm

Why would Amy be on Starship UK?

    • cyber contoller

star ship uk is a death trap and its not a ship its a space whale with a star ship shell.its a death trap because of the smielers
