The final three Sarah Jane Adventures Titles

The Final three Sarah Jane Adventures Titles

This months Doctor Who Magazine gives us the final three Sarah Jane Adventures Titles.

These episodes were completed last year and filmed at the same time as series four.

They are as follows…

Sky – Phil Ford
The Curse of Clyde Langer – Phil Ford
The Man Who Wasn’t There – Gareth Roberts.

All titles are subject to change

The BBC confirmed that following the death of Elisabeth Sladen there are no plans to film further episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Elisabeth Sladen first played the role of Sarah Jane in Doctor Who in 1973 and following her return to the show in 2006, played the eponymous lead in the award-winning CBBC series, The Sarah Jane Adventures, from 2007 onwards.

I can’t wait for the Series 5. It’s a shame there is only 3 stories (6 episodes), I hope It’s just as good as ever before. R.I.P Liz Sladen.

sja cant have daleks and cybermen because its hard for the doctor to defeat them himself! they would die if that happend

      September 5th, 2011 - 7:01am

Russell T Davis did write a story in which torchwood went up against a cyberwoman. But bannerman vs dalek like some have said it would be a massacre..

Also if any companion was going to have a series on CBBC it would be Jo Jones as there so many things you could do with her that you couldn’t do with SJA like she can have adventures around the world but no one can replace Sarah Jane or the Brigadier two top Doctor Who characters not many top assistants left just Jo, K9, Tegan, River Song, Amy and Donna left

    • Ricky

      September 4th, 2011 - 9:40pm

No other wise it would be call th martha and Micky show and any
Way no one can replace her

The first title is real simple, which I don’t like, and the second title is kinda ok, but its too much like The Curse of the Black Spot, but I really like the third title 🙂

They could use animation to create the last episodes or a make em into a comic book or audio book. I hope we get to see the last story in some capacity

      June 5th, 2011 - 3:18am

The scripts have every detail in them though, something I don’t think the books would have.

It’s going to be wonderful seeing Elisabeth again on television as Sarah Jane Smith. But also sad knowing that she’s not here anymore. She was truely a wonderful and brillant Actress of playing different roles and including as we know Miss Sarah Jane Smith.
The episode titles sound good can’t wait to see The Sarah Jane Adventures.

      June 3rd, 2011 - 3:30pm

They confirmed at the time it was the first three stories and they have now confirmed it. Which of the “teasers” that were revealed will happen will hopefully be revealed soon.

    • Jonathan Turner

      June 3rd, 2011 - 5:44pm

That’s good news that Luke back for the last one normally episodes 5 and 6 are crossovers so I wonder if any Who assistants will be in it

    • Anonymous

      June 3rd, 2011 - 6:14pm

No, there was apparently going to be a crossover story but it would have been one of the later three as RTD wanted to do it and wouldn’t be free until then.

      July 21st, 2011 - 11:27pm

Boboo, the three filmed stories were production codes 5.1-4/11/12 and the unfilmed trio were to be 5.5-10. The finale was filmed last year due to Tommy Knight’s availablility and to avoid disturbing his A-Level exams this year.

it is going to be sad that the series won’t get a proper farewell these episodes will just end like a normal episode would. i wish they knew these wer to be the last then the final episode could have a real farewell to elizabeth and the show but unfortunately no one will know when death comes knocking
