The Latest Stunning Doctor Who Trailer!
The Latest Stunning Doctor Who Trailer!
The latest trailer for episodes 8 – 13 of the current series has been released, and it was worth waiting for!
The second half of the series begins with Let’s Kill Hitler, written by Steven Moffat and directed by Richard Senior. And judging from the snippets we’ve seen so far, future adventures will feature Cybermen, the Silence plus the return of River, looking a little different…
And in case you missed it there is a steam train heading for the pyramid!…
Which has area 52 and the American flag on it!…

August 7th, 2011 - 9:55pmA lot of people have been saying that the pyramid and the train has something to do with the Egyptian Godess on the Orient Express, but I think it might have something to do with the Dream Lord’s “teasers” from The Brilliant Book 2011 about deserts.
Mind you, it did say that most of them were a load of nonsense to trick the fans (but nobody apears to have paid any attention to that).

August 9th, 2011 - 3:55amim confused because on the 1st episode of series 6 when the doctor gets killed it looks like hes asking her to kill him because he talks to her and she looks like shes upset and i think that the doctor does something to block river’s bullets from hitting her

August 9th, 2011 - 5:16pmYou’re assuming the Astronaut is female. The Astronaut is a robot that can hold a human occupant but we have no way of telling who was inside it (if there was anyone).

August 11th, 2011 - 8:21pmyou r right but what if it was a remote controll? and it might had been amy’s doughter just guessing

I have a TARDIS now, TARDISes are cool!
August 16th, 2011 - 1:31pmI’d love if tht is the first seen of LKH! because of the second half begging lol
Intergalactic
August 7th, 2011 - 5:44pmI bet the next half will come before August 27 by at least a week, as we always get Doctor Who before America gets it, as Doctor Who is a British programme.
American Doctor Who Fan
August 7th, 2011 - 7:49pmIntergalactic, BBC America has been airing Doctor Who episodes on the same day they are being broadcast in the UK regularly since series six started. BBC America also made it possible to film the opening two parter for season six in the US. You would be surprised how large the fan base is here in the US. We have the world’s largest and longest running Doctor Who fan convention and very dedicated fans. Doctor Who was the bestselling show on the American itunes charts. We got record ratings on BBC America for Doctor Who. Doctor Who and Torchwood are very popular here in America and other spin-offs like K9 and the Sara Jane Adventures are becoming of interest for some fans.
WOWHO
August 7th, 2011 - 8:08pmI reckon it will come on the 27th of August, so america gets it just a few hours after us, like it was during part 1 of series 6
Anonymous
August 7th, 2011 - 10:53pmIt has to be the 27th of August, the schedules up to the 26th have ben announced so this has to follow on that date unless BBC America have a last minute shift in their schedules because the BBC push it back.
Besides, there are more viewers in the UK than in the US, Moffat would want as few potential spoilers getting out as possible.
Intergalactic
August 8th, 2011 - 10:11amRight. Although we should still have it before those Americans. Doctor Who is British, not American. It’s like Star Trek, they get it before us. So we should get Doctor Who before then. Americans always think they’re better than everyone else.

August 8th, 2011 - 3:16pmNo they don’t, just their TV executives.
TheNextDoctor
August 7th, 2011 - 9:16amYou are both right and wrong. David most people wouldnt say that we are in series 32, they would say we are in Series 6 . Series and season have different meaning ONLY when season means ‘Summer’.
Randomizer
August 6th, 2011 - 11:05pmMatt should stay but I think Moffat should go. To be honest, its a family TV show and its way too complex for little kids to understand. Its all very well him defeating the bad guys but if they don’t get why they are back or something then its pointless. They will lose half there viewing figures because its too grown up. Plus, what kid will want an action figure from a monster they don’t understand why its there…

August 6th, 2011 - 7:24pmThe Date for Doctor Who in the UK should be the 3rd September

August 7th, 2011 - 8:52ami swear its 27th august! the day after my birthday! please tell me its not september 3rd.
SamBentley12
August 7th, 2011 - 12:14pmIt’s starts on the 27th august! Why should England have it after America? It’s an english show! America (and everywhere else) should have it on the 3rd of september not England! Honestly I dont care wen it starts anywhere else just as long as its not before England thats fine!
Anonymous
August 7th, 2011 - 2:18pmActually the show is made a produced in Wales and has a Scottish head writer so I don’t think it’s right to credit it to any of the nation states within the UK.
Intergalactic
August 8th, 2011 - 10:12amI don’t think so. That’s a week after America gets it. Which would be ridiculous. It should be 20th August.
SamBentley12
August 9th, 2011 - 11:24amSorry when I said that Dr Who is an English show I meant British sorry! I dont care that we get it on the same day as america as long as they don’t get it before us like torchwood! yes I understand Torchwood was made by the americans this time but even John barrowman said Torchwood is still british! Does anyone understand wat I mean??

August 6th, 2011 - 12:27pmWhen I watched the trailer i kept on watching it i thought it was wicked I know why the wepping angels came BACK because you kinow they got but in the cracks in time the cracks never happend so they surived !
SamBentley12
August 6th, 2011 - 12:37pmAnd the episode is set in a hotel which shows peoples nightmares and Amy’s nightmares ovbiously are about the weeping angels!
jimbob
August 6th, 2011 - 8:53amits series 1 2005 series 2 2006 series 3 2007 series 4 2008 speacials 2009 series 5 2010 series 6 2011 SERIES and SEASON have different meaning.
jedijim
August 6th, 2011 - 1:31amI am proud to be American but this idea is RUBBISH!! The Doctor is a British icon, and, besides, we have Captain Kirk! Although Picard’s pretty cool too. I can’t see Fillon as anyone but Mal!!
DoctorWho4Eva
August 5th, 2011 - 9:30pmMadame Kovarian: And this is where it begins. (What begins?)
And also who is that guy with the eyepatch, friend/guard/henchman of Kovarian. This trailer looks epic, why can’t the 27th get here already?

August 6th, 2011 - 8:29pmstupid question 27Th in Scotland as well right
booboo
August 6th, 2011 - 8:56pmwe hope everywhere
Anonymous
August 7th, 2011 - 1:07pmDue to time zone differences it would be the 28th in Australia and New Zealand though even if it was simulcast, that’s why Australia has a week long delay in broadcast, it could have got it on the Sunday but thinks that a Saturday broadcast is better for ratings.
DoctorWho4Eva
August 5th, 2011 - 9:19pmHas anyone noticed on ‘The Impossible Astronaut’that little figure that sticks out from behind the shack, watch and when they are by the lake, look up to the top right corner of the screen, at the shack. When Old Canton arrives the figure arrives and then when the doctor is shot, the figure disappears, perhaps this has something to do with something in the next part of the series. Tell me what you think.
TARDIS
August 5th, 2011 - 4:12pmr u kidding tenant i understand but RTD i would complain to the bbc

August 5th, 2011 - 2:28pmwe need the gods of dr who back! (tennant and r.t. davis)
David
August 5th, 2011 - 2:12pmCGI hadn’t been invented when series 2 was transmitted (oh yes I remember hiding behind the sofa with my cap gun when the daleks appeared!) You must mean the 28th series.
😉
2doctors2000
August 5th, 2011 - 1:48pmA massive mistake in the Pterosaurs! They are all flapping there wings constantly, they were so light weight they only really had to glide, and occasionally flap there wings! I knew doctor who would do rubbish effects if prehistoric creatures were in it. The should get the help of impossible pictures! There animations are so realistic!
Anonymous
August 7th, 2011 - 12:29pmIt depends what kind of pterosaurs they are. If they’re just small ones (like pterodactylus) then they would flap their wings most of the time. The effects are done by the Mill, who made the new series of Primeval, which, in my opinion, had the best effects of any creature/monster show ever. Even better than Jurassic Park. I hope they can pull it off with Doctor Who this year 🙂
Intergalactic
August 8th, 2011 - 10:14am2doctors2000, this is Doctor Who, anything can happen (with a hard to understand scientific explanation). Perhaps something happened to them. Or perhaps they are an alien species in disguise or whatever.
thedoctorinafez123456789987654321
August 5th, 2011 - 1:43pmi mean america has taken over torchwood they get two episodes a week and get one they will not take DOCTOR WHO
2doctors2000
August 5th, 2011 - 1:37pmBefore anyone else says Pterosaurs are Dinosaurs I am going to put this. They are not Dinosaurs!. They are flying reptiles that lived at the same time as Dinosaurs!
2doctors2000
August 5th, 2011 - 1:37pmThat dosen’t mean that Dinosaurs aren’t in the ep though!
Jak
August 6th, 2011 - 12:54pmyeah i love dinosaurs so if there’s Pterosaurs there’s bound to be other dinos… if Hitler says in the other new trailer ‘something has happened to time’ maybe the Pterosaurs have something to do wwith it they might not have been extinct or something…
WOWHO
August 7th, 2011 - 8:16pmMatt Smith said he wanted to take plate shots from america to do an episode with dinosaurs so…

Dalek Sec
August 5th, 2011 - 9:54amWhoever said that,i don’t think so! Its tooooooo unlikely! The Ganger Doctor died and that is defiantly the Doctor! But I think the TARDIS will clone his genetic material, or something! Also River has some of the DNA from the Eye Patch Lady, Thats why they look so alike!
jake
August 5th, 2011 - 9:23amthey have needed dinosaurs in doctor who for ages and im glad they choose petroasaurs!

August 8th, 2011 - 10:15amI don’t think it is. Because that story would have to take place after The Big Bang, and that would be a complete mess of continuity.
