Starz’ “Torchwood” reboot will be titled “Torchwood: The New World” and creator Russell T Davies gave some insight into the storyline.

The new story will follow a CIA agent (Rex) and analyst (Ester) who tackle an alien-related global issue. I don’t care what the new Torchwood storyline is. Just as long as Eve Miles is there.

I imaged Daleks on the new torchwood episodes! But Daleks are Doctor Who enemies. They could probably fight Silurians or Sea Devils!

The new title is good. Makes an impression of a ‘New World’ and possibly a new ‘Torchwood’

The Series had the problem that the story arcs and character stories were quiet important so by killing Tosh, Owen and Ianto but keeping Gwen with the simplest story and revamping the series so new viewers can jump on. It’s a good move in my opinion

i’ve only started to watch torchwood this year, but since it is kind of a revamp i would like to enjoy to watch – the amercian take would not ruin the series RTD was good at bringing back doctor who to the 21st century and SM is a great choice of the executive producer and head writer. there’s plently of time to watch series 2 and children of earth series before this airs in 2011 and can’t wait for matt smith in the sja with jo grant and written by RTD – ohhhh.

Is this all true? I’m not sure I liked what Russell T Davies did to Torchwood…

Dr Who spin offs are so good. It’s amazing how one program (all be it the best one in the World) can spawn spin offs that are worth while creations by themselves. Incredible. and all this from a series people not so long ago thought was “dead”.
