What a fabulous finale! Danny’s story was sad, Clara’s story was sad, The Doctor’s story was well you get the picture. Osgood’s dead, Danny’s dead, Seb’s well you also get that picture. I’m sad that the series is over but I’m looking forward to Frost at Christmas. And the DVD. And the Children in Need bit. And the well…you get the picture. 😉

It wad good, but left a lot of unanswered questions. Eg what happened to the matrix data slice.
It was hinted thst st pauls was a tardis and it was on locked down, is it still on locked down?
Where did the danny cyberman go to? And lots more

it was good but i think it should’ve been better… sorry!
I didn’t see a point in the president thing, it came to nothing.
The Doctor never called missy the master in this ep, i felt that was needed.
that needed for answers, how did she escape? too many loose ends.
i think clara should’ve been with the doctor more.
osgood and kate didn’t do much
    the brigadier thing was weird
the doctor should’ve saved the day
the cybermen didn’t do much, they just stood around.
why did missy do it? to prove a point. i didn’t see the cybermen kill one person.
i just think it could’ve been pushed a lot more, and i think if clara’s really gone, she should’ve had more of a heroic end, and she should’ve said something like: ‘I’m clara oswald, and i saved the doctor.’
i don’t think she should’ve been in the main titles.
    missy should’ve done more.
    seb was wasted.

i think last week had the biggest shocks, and for me, the most memorable scenes (the volcano, the ending)

not sure what to think of christmas to be honest.

also, wouldn’t it be nice to see the master’s tardis which was saint paul’s? what happened to the nether sphere? why did Osgood have to die??
i think clara should’ve committed suicide to be with danny

Yep, I’m going to have to agree with you there. Good, but should have been better. It left me slightly disappointed.

I just think everything should’ve been bigger, and honestly, i found the first half an hour pointless, as everyone flew out the plane, osgood died, and the president thing had nothing in the turn of events.
      Why did Missy choose Clara?

  • The Dark Doctor

    November 8th, 2014 - 9:15pm

    What the hell was that!!!

Osgood killed with no further reference, Cyberment being ‘here to help’ as such, Missy being disintergrated in the blink of an eye and being very poorly used on the whole and a pethetic reference to the Brig at the end!

Why was the Doctor so upset about Gallifrey not being there? He’s not even bothered to look for it since the 50th!

    Just Terrible…

I, too, agree with your comments. This was a RIDICULOUS episode!!! Can’t everyone see it? Or are people so brain-addled that they’ll accept anything? This season will go down as perhaps THE worst in Dr. Who history! From beginning to end, things have gone down hill completely, except for PC ‘s acting. Kudos to him for trying to rise above this muck… And Santa? Come on! You can’t have it both ways: dark series with beloved characters sensesly dying, and Joly Santy Claus for the kids… But it speaks of the directionless mess that this season has suffered. Can you tell I’m just a wee bit upset? Please, please start fresh with the next series… Please!

A brilliantly bleak, well written and well acted episode. I di almost switch off and run out the door screaming after the first two minutes but at least normality was restored after the opening. It was certainly a very ‘grown up’ episode, loved the links to the past and sends the season off on a high – the Christmas one……I think i’ll be looking forward to the next series instead.

Damn that was a sinister episode in places! I enjoyed it but I am in shock that both Osgood and Missy were disintergrated with little mention.

Also miffed about the implication about the Brig at the end… Really miffed…

Take that out and it was an ejoyable episode.

But so was Clara, and Courtney, and the Paternoster Gang, and River Song, and … shall I go on. All rubbish, and none of them die … shame really.

Plutopus. I agree completely. I didnt like them either, though pre this series I did like Clara. Unfortunately Mr Moffat has sought to, for reasons known only to him, completely ruin JLCs character (and the show in general) as he has brought in a pc, soap opera mentality to the show.
I for one, now strongly believe that it is time for Mr Moffat to stand down and have someone new take the reins. This will allow both refreshment for the show, respect for Mr Capaldi and more time for Mr Moffat to concentrate on Sherlock, Hollywood and his many other ventures.

You do realise that she was shot by a Cyberman?

I think we may have seen the end of the Master forever…

    • Tim M

      November 8th, 2014 - 9:33pm

Well, I thought the Master was gone forever in ‘Planet of Fire’ (1984), yet somehow he reappeared in ‘The Mark of the Rani’ (1985). The Master most certainly is NOT gone forever.
