I agree with many of the comments so far.
Did not like how much Clara and her story is being emphasized. her relationship with Danny is boring, forced , and uninteresting. She is on scene and taking the lead for to much for a companion.
her relationship with the doctor is lacking any sort of chemistry, possibly due to actual age difference or story driven. either way it is disappointing.
Obviously will keep watching but IMO this season is off to a rocky start and I don’t see it being fixed. but here’s hoping
I am a fan of Capaldi but not many others yet this season

I agree I have watched doctor who since the first episode in 1963 But I think it is on its way down again. Claras character is just not right for the program

The best episode so far this series. I nearly jumped out my chair on the male speaker saying the boy wouldnt make a timelord, with the scene in the barn. Is there more of this to come I wonder?

After watching it again I have a new theory about the boy in the bed at the end, I believe it is the doctor and I think all the children have been collected together ready to be sent to the temporal skism I believe the doctors biggest fear was having to join the army and having to kill people because he hates to hurt people unless to save those he loves.

That was the Doctor, specifically William Hartnell’s Doctor as a child.

Has it occured to anyone that if it’s the same barn as in the 50th Anniversary then why perhaps it was not Gallifray.

In the 50th the area had a blue sky, Gallifray has a burnt orange sky…

It was Gallifrey. It said so in the script.

Well said dalek the supreme couldn’t of put it better myself its the doctors fears that keep him going perhaps its the doctor himself under the bed reassuring people he cares for through out time because he found it so comforting himself when Clara did it to him. As for Missy maybe she is Clara in the future that’s how she knows when to save people. Perhaps pink ends up travelling with them that’s why the comment its in the family.

Well, my opinion has changed toward the episode, and it’s sort of mixed in my opinion, but I’m glad I could articulate your opinion for you. 🙂
