Just how domesticated is the new series. The doctor is powerful isn’t he yet he looks like he taking his orders from Clara.I hoped for so much from this series and I love Peter but the series is becoming a bit twee and it is concentrating on the relationship. It is looking all a bit naff.

If you look behind Missy, there is windows that to me resemble the old Tear Drop Cyberman eyes.

Is she perhaps, inside an older version of a Cyberman or onboard a Cyber ship…

I generally liked episode However Clara
Strutting around thinking she The doctor
was ludicrous. Both Rose and Donna
      Became temporary Time Lords by
absorbing the full power Of the
Time Vortex. Clara had no power at
all. Being clever doesn’t make you
      a Time Lord.

at last a semi decent story/episode,felt like a good 9th or 10th doctor episode with it been set in modern day and on earth.still missing the dr theme music and sadly cant take to this doctor at all, trying to run round the tardis was laughable, thought he was going to fall over.theres no character to him at all.just watched a couple of 11th doc episodes,i wish matt hadn’t finished when he did,he must of known it was getting tired with moff in charge.

Loved Flatline. It’s just getting better and better with each episode.
I thought that the Tardis’ cube actually looked like the Pandorica. Is that a coincidence?

Pretty good – I could almost see Colin Baker’s Dr playing this episode perfectly.

But I’m sorry, Clara has gone beyond the point of being interesting. I just have to see her face now to be irritated. That aside, it is good to see the shrinking TARDIS again (1st time in Logopolis).

Missy? Hmmmmmm. Hope she is the Rani and not the Master (Could be the Valyard….), merely just to bring a new villain into the new series.

Actually, it’s the 3rd time the Tardis has shrunk.

      1)Planet of the Giants.
      2)Logopolis.
      3)Flatline.

Don’t worry, I forgot it shrunk in a William Hartnell story, not that I’ve seen it which I haven’t, it’s just that I learned the Tardis had shrunk in an early 1960’s adventure but forgot myself so I too thought she first shrunk in Logopolis just as you thought.

Possibly the best one of the series. The side character was alright, the villain was threatening, the characters were handled well, and the Doctor’s speech when he destroyed the “Boneless” was epic. Outside of a few nitpicks, I can’t find any faults with this episode.

“Flatline” was really good! Although the episode was mainly centred around Clara, I loved it. I was dreading this episode because I thought there was going to be too much Clara, but I genuinely liked it. I cant wait to see what the connection will be between Missy and Clara, so heres hoping for a great plot twist. Overall, I rate “Flatline”a 9.5/10!

Well fudge me! I really liked this episode. The best one, yet. But that’s not saying much, because I’ve been bashing every episode until now. Clara was actually enjoyable to watch in this one. It’s amazing how good something could be when the pieces come together. But here’s the thing: my expectations were zero. I was actually dreading watching yet another episode of this series. But I’m glad I’ve hung in there… I pray and hope they keep the ball rolling… More, please!

I think missy is the tardis. And I think clara is the doctor somehow

“He can be very mean sometimes. Except to me
of course, because he loves me so much”

It’s a well known fact the doctor loves the tardis

“clara , my clara I have chosen well”

    From the doctors wife:
Idris: did you ever wonder why I chose you all those years ago
The doctor: I chose you. You were unlocked
Idris:Of course I was. I wanted to see the universe, so I stole a timelord and ran away.

Remember it was clara who persuaded the first doctor to take the other tardis instead.

And clara was essentially the doctor in flatline.

As usual we’ll all be wrong but it’s always fun trying to figure it out.

      I’ve just remembered something else.
Remember in listen could that toy solider be a clue too. It was a family air loom handed down generations presumably from clara and danny but at the end when Clara’s on gallifrey under the doctor’s bed in that barn she leaves it with him?

Something about the first sentence is interesting. I could almost see this plot thread playing out. Of course if Clara does turn out to be the Doctor, sadly I think it could be a natural conclusion to my association with the series after 35 years.

Methinks some of you try to look into things too deeply. It reminds me of when I studied A level English lit and am convinced we were being encouraged to read things into some works of lit which weren,t written in by the author. In truth you could do the same with Noddy

Both myself and my 11-year-old son (who was fidgeting with excitement) thought this was the best episode of series 8 so far. Some great comedy moments, (Adams Family) and some great spooky moments as the monsters became three dimensional. Clara was brilliant and some great effects, writing and acting. Now if all the episodes had been this good no-one would be complaining…or would they?

I dont think there has been one bad episode to be honest, this one wasn’t one of my favourites but should have been, probably because of all the wrong reasons

it was new concept with a terrifying monster, seemed like it was a feature film trying to burst out of its very confined filming area and time scale into something much grander

The special effects of the doctor in the shrunk Tardis were really good, normal things like that just dont look right but they were terrific i thought .

      Good resolution as well

A doctor lite episode? Set on a rundown estate, peole disappearing. Thought it might be another ‘Fear her’.I was wrong it surpassed expectations and gave us more light comic relief. The 12th doctor has really come into his own now. Thoroughly enjoyed like last weeks mummisode. So much for my second guessing krynoids for next weeks episode. That tiger in the forest something to do with the kipling poem?

Easily for my money one of the best episodes of what has been the BEST series since the relaunch back in 2005.

We were promised a more darker classic like Who under Peter Capaldi with more actual hide behind the sofa moments and we’ve got it.I think it benefits from being on nearer the watershed although if it’s nearer kiddies bedtimes and clashing with X Factor I hope it is’nt impinging on the viewing figures.

Another good episode I thought. I loved the shrinking Tardis idea, it was very funny seeing the Dr’s face and hand poking out the little doors.

When the Dr gave Clara the big club hammer, it looked like she had a magic bag like Mary Poppins (who Missy dresses and looks like!)

It actually made me jump when the big 3d hand grabbed the bloke in the tunnel. I thought the community service supervisor character was going to turn out to be involved somehow, especially when the psychic paper didn’t work on him.

Would’ve liked a little more deaths and more horror though just to make it even more scary.
