Oh the good old days even in the modern era of RTD/Moffat when with out too overt an attempt at being didactic we could just enjoy Daleks exterminating everything in sight before being stopped.

The latest trailer with the Cybermen looks better but as ever the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

In response to Lorraine you nailed my feelings exactly. So glad I’m not alone in how I feel. Also will not buy last season or this on blu ray. We are not moaners. I think our criticism is out of genuine concern about the quality of Chibnall’s DW and the woeful casting of the lead role

The BBC and their tick-box culture. Seemingly they refuse to listen even though figures are diving down. The only point of real interest for me was Jo Martin who nailed it as a doctor albeit only seeing her act over a short time but I have grave concerns with the affect on canon. Really just cannot take Whittaker either acting or vocally and boy have I tried having been a fan since 1963 (okay boomer before anyone else throws that at me)! She uses “me sonic” as if it is a wand and she is at Hogwarts. Do not like the writing over all. When Jodie is off-screen very slightly better so basically I miss having a good Doctor. If I were flying with her in her somewhat revoltingly designed Tardis I do not think I would have any trust that she would get me out of a tight corner. or have a clue what is going on. I am not moaning guys I am just sad. Series 12 is a tad better that series 11 but again will not be added to my Who DVDs. I am of course jealous of those who genuinely seem to like this pap I just don’t understand why. I live still constantly in hope and do await the Cybermen at series end.

It looks like episode 8 will be another Earth locked episode.

I’ll probably get criticised for criticising…But once upon a time this show was about an adventure in time and space…not anymore!
It’s now just an adventure in box ticking and preaching down to the lower masses. People are tired of being preached at…hence the dwindling viewers.

I really don’t mind being described as a “moaner” I will continue to criticise when necessary and for me last season was the worst but we have seen an improvement this season although not much.

I do explain why I don’t like Jodie’s portrayal of the Doctor, this season or last week we have seen a major improvement with Jo Martin.

I see nothing wrong with “moaning ” because I and others expect better and we are not getting better other than the new Doctor we were introduced to last week and the new Master.
Graham has always been of high standard though.

So there you go, I have been positive and would love to be so more often.

I mean, I liked it, all the companions finally got something to do. It was a solid story, but I just felt it was a bit bland. No moment sticks out to me right now that I loved. Good story altogether though, at leas the message was more subtle than Orphan 55.

This Episode was just about watchable.

Scenery was nice, Graham was good as ever.

    Jodie was as expected…poor.
20 mins of Jo Martin is still superior to anything Jodie has done as the Doctor! The authority Jo`s Doctor holds is something I am holding onto as a massive possitive.

Hope we get some more teasers for the finale next week?

    3/10

That’s a pretty good description actually… Praxeus showed how you can right an Eco story without it coming over as preachy and annoying. Praxeus reminded me of The Green Death in many ways.

Don’t get the criticism at all. Felt this was the best episode of the season so far, after Spy Fall.

Hint to agenda peddlers at the BBC based on events in Blighty and the USA. If as judged by declining viewing figures a self styled Liberal Elitist Condiscendente alienates too many viewers of a programme that’s meant to have mass appeal populism in the end ALWAYS wins. Even if that means outright cancellation..

“Surely all opinions of the EPISODE should be respected and accepted, yet despite best efforts by this site to minimise attacks on people’s opinions, it’s still going on.

I suppose that is the nature of the world now, on this site, Twiiter, Forums, FB – any where people can spew personal hate from behind their screens without being held to account.

That’s why I now never post under my name on here (or anywhere), for fear of personal attacks.”

If anyone really tries to attack ANYONE here boobo will come down on it.And rightly so.

The question is “What Did You Think of Praxeus?” NOT “What Do You Think Of Other People’s Opinions”

Some hated it, some loved it and some are somewhere in the middle. Pretty much like every episode ever made.

What is more awful than any episode could ever be is when people can not deal with others having different opinions to theirs – there is a name for that.

I know it goes both ways but it seems to be the very vocal haters (the same few people) that really have a big problem with this. They even go as far as trying to put the voting results and the comments down as some kind of hidden agenda rather than accept that people have a different opinion to theirs.
