What Did You Think of The Angels Take Manhattan?

What Did You Think of The Angels Take Manhattan?

The final episode of series 7a has aired so what did you think?, was it the best episode ever or just average.

The Doctor’s heart-breaking farewell to Amy and Rory – a race against time through the streets of Manhattan, as New York’s statues come to life around them…

With Rory’s life in danger, the Doctor and Amy must locate him before it’s too late! Luckily, an old friend helps them and guides the way.

The future-chapter Amy reads was that the Doctor breaks something… but technically River broke her own wrist. So how does that work?

No, she read a conversation between the doctor and a female character (the pronoun ‘she’ was used – the name is not given), and we all automatically presumed that the female was Amy; it was in fact River.

Here’s my review for The Angels Take Manhattan, With the Depature of Amelia (Amy) Jessica Pond (Williams) and Rory Arthur Williams (Pond)and the Return of the Weeping Angels many people were anticipating this episode, but did it live up to it’s standards? Well t start off with – WHAT ON EARTH WAS THE WEEPING STATUE OF LIBERTY ANGEL SUPPOSED TO BE DOING? All it did there was walk, be a giant angel and make funny faces at people – no i have said something negative of the episode lets look at it so far: 9/10
something positive: Alex Kingston was amazing as River Song and she played the part perfectly: 10/10
Something Negative: When Amy and Rory were on the Roof – (by the way while i’m on the subject of the roof scene – BEST MUSIC EVER!!!) – o.k. back to the subject who was looking at the giant Weeping Statue of Liberty Angel right behind them: 9/10
Positive: MATT SMITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was Amazing! The tears i produced at the end of the episode when Amy left, OMG that was amazing acting – even my Nan who absolutly hates the Eleventh Doctor said that was the best episode she’s seen and she’s seen: The Eleventh Hour * Closing Time * Asylum of the Daleks * Dinosaurs on a Spaceship * The Angels Take Manhattan: 10/10
NEGATIVE TIME!: GRAYLE! what was that man’s problem? a fat, old, grumpy, near-bald man who just happens to come across the Weeping Angels and keeps one in his lounge and tortures it just to see if it can feel pain? I mean what on earth was his moral?
Grayle’s thoughts: I just want to collect Weeping Angels so i can torture it send random people to investigate the Angels when already i know mostly everything about it then try to kill someone because i can get knoced up wake up 10 minutes later then suddenly get killed off.
    9/10
And finally- the Depature of Amy and Rory-
    Is it positive or negative?
POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE AT THE SAME TIME!
Positive: Amy and Rory’s departure was amazing and was very very very very very very very very VERY VERY VVVVEEEERRRRYYYY touching – i had tears in my eyes at the end of the episode – i just wish i had meet Karen Gillan before she left and Arthur Darvill – speaking of Mr Darvill – his middle name is Arthur look at this:
Rory ARTHUR Williams played by ARTHUR Williams

NEGATIVE: Amy’s name is Amelia Jessica Pond if you want her last name to be Williams then call her Amelia Jessica Williams not Amelia Williams also who else died? the other Gravestones have no names on them and why did Rory have such a bad good-bye? – anyway i finally rate this episode: 10/10 or as the Doctor would say 11/10

    AFTERWORD
    BY AMELIA WILLIAMS
Hello Old Friend and here we are you and me on the last page, by the time you read these words Rory and Me will be long gone so know that we lived well and were very happy, and over all else know that we will love you always, sometimes i do worry about you though i think once we’re gone you won’t be coming back here for a while, and you might be alone. which you should never be. Don’t be alone Doctor, and do one more thing for me. There’s a little girl waiting in a garden, She’s going to wait a long while, so she’s going to need a lot of hope, go to her, tell her a story. Tell here if she’s paitent the days will come that she’ll never forget, tell her she’ll go to see and fight pirates, she’ll fall in love with a man who’ll wait 2,000 years to keep her safe, tell her she’ll give hope to the greates t painter who ever lived and save a whale in outer space, tell her this is the story of Amelia Pond and this is how it ends.
