I loved it. It was exciting and interesting, had an unexpected appearance of a classic villain, it starts a mysterious story arc, and it really has that Christmas feeling, besides making the TARDIS console room good for the first time since 1989. Lots of compliments, no complaints!

Brilliant episode. It was exciting, fast moving and “Cristmassy” all at the same time. Matt Smith keeps getting better and Jenna-Louise Coleman is going to be a fantastic companion. Another BBC masterpiece. Roll on the resumption of the series

Wow what an episode, I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to seeing how and why she becomes a level 1 bad ass darlek. As I say that I’m also still morning the loss of pond, her and her story line wore so captivating. I hope you intend to blow my mind with an equally intensive thought provoking story line! I’m 37 and mat was my first doctor (since the old crusty stuff from my childhood, that never stole my imagination) and I love him as the doctor, I’m a Shakespeare actor, and love what he’s done to this English iconic man!

I think it was amazing, I really like the fact that they did not release any news or images of the title so it was a big surprise. Also I thought the effects for the snowmen were great! I think it was the best christmas special, it was really funny as well!

and another thing that really bugged me, when the doctor first met clara and asked what her name was, when she said it you couldn’t see her face! Terrible! if i were j-lou i would be extremely angry!

I thought the Christmas special was really quite poor and muddled albeit that Clara may become more interesting as time goes on. I am more interested in good well planned storylines than fresh Tardis designs.

I am very worried that standards are slipping as the only story I have really enjoyed recently was Oswin as a Dalek unbeknowest to her- very disturbing and sad.

I love the programme and was 6 when it started and yes I do have an array of Who memorabilia -how sad or perhaps I should say how sane!

I enjoyed The Snowmen it had a few flaws but at least it was more better than The Doctor The Widow And The Wardrobe.

    My Rate 7/10

As things stand nobody knows if it will be out on DVD, although it most likely will be.

They had to change it because they were moving set. And the old tardis would remind the doctor. Of amy and rory leaving him.

There DEFINITELY has to be a spin off of Vastra and Jenny. I loved Doctor Who’s casual support for equality. No need to make a big deal out of it. I like how it was just a normal relationship and was treated accordingly! Hopefully in the future, intergalactic relationships won’t face the same hardships as same sex couples do!

Also, quite frankly think that the new companion is stunning!

Loved the new opening theme and titles, and the story started off well enough but, as is becoming alarmingly more common with the series in general since series 6 began, the final resolution with the Snow was just a completely garbled, too easily won, badly acted, and overloud mess that undid everything else for me. Seriously losing faith in the series and was hoping after the return to form in Angels Take Manhattan that things would start to change but, alas, no.

I like the look of this Christmas Special though “A Christmas Carol” was my favourate. It has given me a real taste for the season to come though and I’m very exited about it.

The new title sequence looked messy but so did the last one but the face was good. The new music was the best so far. Jenna was excellent and the Clara has a cool centre of universe plot line. The doctor needs tweed not an 8th doctor attire. The TARDIS was a-maz-ing, loved it. Rock on year 50, the cybermen look cool and clara is going to be great.

Am I missing a subtle reference to something? 23 November was the first air date wasn’t it?

I liked it how the main enemy was the Great Intelligence, who we haven’t seen since the 60s and it was really clever they put in the part of the London Underground from the Web Of Fear.

Oh no, not another new companion who just so happens to be the most important person blah blah blah, cliche, cliche, cliche. Didn’t like Clara, she was a terrible actress whoever she is, and the story was extremely boring. From the small preview we were shown I am not expecting much from what was supposed to be a brilliant 50th anniversary year. If they muck this up then I probably won’t bother with another season.

Obviously you are a modern day Who Fan.
You need to appreciate the face that Doctor Who isn’t about explosions. It’s about mystery.
