well that was embarassing…just 1 question, as a fan of the original TORCHWOOD , and of Dr Who…the question…HOW? Rex is immoratl because of an infusion of Jacks blood? HOW? Jack’s blood has nothing to do with his immortality, you could have drainded it all and replaced it with 10w30 and he would still live. The Tardis and Rose, made him immortal, that was lazy storytelling

because the tardis made his blood immortal and when jack gave his blood to rex in miricale day, that made him immortal, and kept jack immortal too

It was NOT Torchwood is was simply another example of what happens when americans get their hands on British Television, just like the 1996 Doctor Who disaster with Paul Mcgann. Americans should never be allowed to have any sort of executive control of ANY British series. They simply can’t comprehend what made them so popular and successful and inevitably just screw them up.

I disagree, good writing is good writing wherever you find it. As is good acting for the matter. A strong script and a strong cast make for a great tale. To my mind Bill Pullman deserves an Oscar for his performance, particularly the final episode. Cometh the play, cometh the man.
