Cheap looking effects , boring script, terrible acting. Welcome to Torchwood.

Oh yeah…and since when has Capt Jack been American? Last I heard he was from the planet Boeshane Peninsula…mind you at the point he shouted “I’m American too…!”, he could have been pretending but at that point I’d given up trying to concentrate.

Too much like 24…. too slow for a weekly story I would like more action… too much padding

Too much doctors and hospitals and not enough of the Torchwood team. Not sure if it can keep my attention for the next two months if it keeps this pace, we’ll see.

I’m not enjoying it as much as previous series of Torchwood. I prefer the old cast and I loved it being set in Cardiff…

RTD said in an interview that The Doctor is mentioned and their is a nod to Sarah Jane as well. Did not see the reference to the Doctor in part one, but maybe it was him that got the computers to highlight Torchwood?

I thought the first episode as a whole was excellent, and the chase on the beach was very Bond.

I cannot help but feel though how many more changes can Torchwood take before its to late and it all ends.

Here’s to more Torchwood, although from interviews it would appear this will be RTD’s last 🙁

Hope there is a series 5, the doctor will be mentioned eventually , your wrong they would never add the doctor as a major plot point in an American Show (yes I know it’s British but it’s aimed at Americans)

It was way better than the first episode , abit more character developement going on. But Oswald is still a boring villian , he brings nothing to the role hopefully as the series progresses he will get better.

The BBC have just cut most ‘graphic’ scenes from the new episodes of torchwood meaning the usa are seeing a slightly different verson to us in the uk.
