Doctor Who – New Series Six Images
The BBC have released several new images from Series Six of Doctor Who which include Cybermen, Astronauts, The Doctors Wife and The silence. The official site also has a Matt Smith Video and New Series Overview.

tjmov you are a genius now we can finally believe these are mondas cybermen for 3 big reasons in the episode rise of the cybermen the 10th doctor said these cybermen were just a parralel version which mean these cybermen would look identical but not exactly also the army of ghosts they had guns built on there arms but these dont just like the mondas cybemen and i think this will be an episode what their up to for like 30 seconds then cliffhanger and if they are mondas cybermen they would have never met auton rory maybe they are going to war with the parralel cybermen because they think that they are not pure cybermen just robots with a human mind

i think river is going to die.
on the trailer we see rory and amy in different episodes such as the doll and ood episodes.
but all the costumes we see river wearing are from episode one and possibly two.
could this change timelines and make something big happen because river is supposed to die in the libary.

These Cybermen are *slightly* different so guessing they are meant to be “our universe” Cybermen? They don’t have the Cybus “C” on their Chest Hatches – it’s just blank (the Blood of the Cybermen Game models didn’t have the hatches at all, just an inscribed sort of face plate emblem?). Was hoping for a more 80′s design but still can’t wait to see them!!! 8-|

Thats a good possibility, plus from what ive been told, the Alliance from Series 5 is said to still exist, so maybe Auton Rory is back and his going to meet the real Rory.
Well, Rory saw 2 Amy’s [ technically 3 when she saw another one with him ] in the recent Red Nose Day ” Space ” and ” Time ” Adventures, so it would be fun for Amy to see both Rory and Auton Rory at the same time.

How can the Auton Rory Return!!? That never happened, it ll got erased from in the big bang! The doctor blew up iside the pandorica so things went back 2 normal that’s why Amy had 2 remember the doctor in order 4 him to come back!

The reason the Mondas/Telos Cybermen look similar to the Cybusmen is probably down to the BBC budget. It’s a pretty good design nevertheless. Maybe the limbs could be less angular?

Mondas cybermen or cybus cybermen? They could easily look the same- they’re parallel versions of eachother. It’s a great design anyway so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I’m sure Moffat will redesign them (which, when it comes, will be lovely and exciting). In the meantime I’m happy to watch these ones…And will miss the stomp when it will, one day, go…

It’s interesting as you stare more and more at that pic the more you notice: new logo, they’re holding guns, they appear to have some of their wires protruding out a bit more around their stomach…

cybermen with guns, the pete’s world cybermen had them built into their arms so these must be from mondass (even though for some reason they used them in Doomsday) – but also in blood of the cybermen they had a different chest plate and the cybermats were different to this episode

The Cybermen Head design of the Cybus Industries / Pete’s World Cybermen hasint changed, it’s simply the Cyberleader Head from the 2008 Special ” the Next Doctor ” just being re-used for another Cyberleader. I must admit thou, i never really expected to see that version of the Cyberleader Head ever again, i thought it was going to be used just the one time and never again, just like the Cybercontroller from 2006.

No Cybus Logo eh ? . . . . but surely these are still the Cybus Industries / Pete’s World Cybermen we’ve had since 2006 ? cos i would hate it if our Cybermen share the same look as the Pete’s World versions, but the only difference in the lack of the Cybus Logo. Pete’s World’s Cybermen are, and lets be honest about it, PRIMITIVE compared to the many Cybermen we’ve seen from our own Universe, so the above picture is Cybermen from Pete’s World who have ” deleted ” the Cybus logo, ours will return with a new design

Well for one thing, i really dont like the idea of our Cybermen looking like their Parallel selfs, like i said, Pete’s World Cybermen are primative compared to the many designs of our Cybermen who unlike the parallels have indeed evolved over the years between 66 and 88 during the good old days of the Classic Series.
As for the new Cybermat, it’s possible that the parallel Cybermen have either A) incountered or Cybermen and attempted to create their own Cybermat’s, or B) didint meet our Cybermen, but just came across a Cybermat belonging to ours and then decided to design one of their own making.
