This series looks excellent and exciting with so many enemies, a new companion and different planets and situations , I think this will be one of the best season with the 12 th doctor.

Well then…. Bill, Nardole, new Missy costume, Emoji bots, the Landlord, the Monks, Mondasian Cybermen, Ice Warrior women, Daleks and a Serpent under the Thames.

Well Character Options, dont even think about saying that there isnt many options for 5 inch action figures, cus there is going to be, i would imagine, a lot of demand for figures!

And it would be really good, i know its a stretch, but a Twelfth Doctor TARDIS interior playset WITH the light/sound fx.

    2005-2010 good figures and merchandise.
2011-2016 an absolute abysmal display of rubbish. The only good thing that came from all the past year or so, the 5.5 inch Missy, 12th Doctors, Clara Oswald and the 10th Doctor i tuxedo and the LEGO ideas TARDIS playset.

The reason they can’t do this is because of money reasons. The figures haven’t been selling well since series 5 due to a combination of factors e.g. Woolworth’s dying, the series 5 style guide and perhaps even the popularity of the series in the UK. They don’t want to end up making something that won’t sell, if it would sell, they would have made it (and by sell, I mean they need to get enough sales to make a profit, something which they don’t think they’ll get).

Don,t hold your breath for 5 inch aside from the obligatory doctor and companion releases. eaglemoss could mine a few potential figurines from this series.

      March 19th, 2017 - 6:04pm

Maybe this could be cut down for the trailer and the actual episode it’d be like:

      Bill: It’s like a…

Doctor: Spaceship! It’s also bigger on the inside.

Bill: So is there.. a kitchen?

      Doctor: Ah what?

Depends though, I could be missing the ball entirely 🙂

    • Doctor Stu

      March 19th, 2017 - 10:36pm

Or maybe that’s just the whole episode…

      Titles role

      Bill: it’s like a….

      Doctor: spaceship?

      Bill: kitchen

      Doctor: yes……correct

      End credits role

Or maybe I’m really tired and I’m being stupid

    • The Outcast

      March 20th, 2017 - 7:37am

Hopefully its what you said Endless. That line is a bit annoying, in no way does the TARDIS look like a kitchen.

    • Borg

      March 27th, 2017 - 1:36am

Remember, the Eleventh Doctor TARDIS had ketchup and mustard dispensers 🙂

    • The Outcast

      March 27th, 2017 - 10:03am

But it didn’t look like a kitchen other than that. Did the 1983-1989 interior look like a kitchen? did the 1996 interior. No, they didn’t. I think what Endless said is how it will be in the story, the Doctor being caught out because it doesn’t have a kitchen, only a food machine.

With the Mondasian Cybermen returning, I really hope they haven’t got the ability to fly like the Cybermen Missy brought into the series. Just so long as ththey are the same genuinely creepy, scary voiced monsters I remember seeing in old clips. Although I do hope Missy is still the hilariously insanely, mental crackpot that Michelle Gomez portrays so perfectly.

If Missy was just a human then she would be regarded as a crackpot and sent to the asylum.

Yes looks fab, but then again so have the last few series and they turned out to be total garbage (particularly last season)
Poor writing from a very poor showrunner, I can pretty much guarantee this series will be as poor as the last and who knows how much more damage Moffat will inflict on the shows cannon and mythology.
Confidence has gone for me and I fear he has caused too much damage, I know the fan base is split because of him and what makes it worse is it was unavoidable.

It says comments above, not positive comments only, as long as pats86 keeps within the rules he has every right to be unhappy if that is the way he feels. I certainly preferred the RTD days and hope that way of doing it comes back with the new Show Runner but i don’t hate the way Moffatt has done it, just don’t like it as much.
Don’t like the comments then stay away and don’t read them, simple.

    • The Outcast

      March 15th, 2017 - 6:58am

I really do agree with this comment. Personally, storywise, I think the overarching plots have hit rock bottom since series 5. Moffat is a good standalone story writer, but in my opinion, most of his series arcs (series 7 and series 9) have been the worst of Doctor Who as a whole.

      March 15th, 2017 - 6:58am

I’m here because I am a life long fan and want the show to survive, I couldn’t care less if you don’t like my views. I don’t like yours but I’m not saying clear off.
This is a site where we can all have a say is it not? As Mick 181 says it’s not positive coments only. Someone has to speak up for those who expect better and if I am one of them then so be it.
I am not rude, just simply having my say and will continue to do so until the show becomes great again, and under Moffat it won’t.

It does appear that more from the Doctors past is creeping into this series. As to if it will work, only time will tell. But I can’t help thinking it’s a show going into itself, and repeating it’s past to please the fans. They did much the same when Colin Baker was the Doctor…the series didn’t survive long after that.

Whilst never having warmed to the 12th. Doctor & Moffat’s recent work, having seen the Trailer it all look’s quite fun again! But let’s not all get too excited just yet as looks can (As usual) be deceiving. I’ll go into Season 10 with my eyes wide open & see what I shall see..

Exterminator yes let’s name a new monster after Moffat….how about “Moffat Thatcher”? Like the namesake, Someone else who, did what they wanted without regard to others, caused untold damage to things we love, outstayed their welcome, and caused people to fall out rather nastily when once friends.
