I feel like it damages a doctors legacy, it’s sad to see the doctor regenerate and that’s good because we need that emotional impact of an era being left behind and a new one begining. If the Doctor were to leave but ‘don’t worry because they’ll be back for an episode next series’ it’d ruin the impact for me. But that’s just me I like an emotional impact that’s why Moffat gets on my nerves because he just refuses to kill anyone properly and all jeopardy has been lost from DW

They should do a multi doctor story more often. I’m sure the actors who have played the doctor will be up for it. This episode looks great!

Sometimes, when you’re burgled, your house gets messy, as they’ve pulled stuff up, looking for something expensive. That’s probably what he means.

If you walked into your house, and everything looked different, and it had all moved, that would probably be your first response.

You would think that the First Doctor would look at Twelves and wonder why there is so much MORE in the Tardis

Yeah but what was that line all about? I mean what exactly has been burgled? The clock? The Chair? What? I don,t get that? Its been enhanced. Somebody explain.

Also, it’d be great if they don’t reveal the villain before the episode.

Great clip! Hopefully the rest of the episode will be just as good or perhaps even better.

“Have I been burgled? ” Loved the 1st doctor’s comment at the new tardis interior

Its wild, his hair. Its starting to resemble that malus figurine.

They might have something prepared, however brief, Knowing full well that to reel new and old audiences they will want something to wet their appetite in anticipation for next autumn. Like for example with series 5 they briefly showed the silurian mask in its trailer.

I thought that the trailer for the christmas espiode was very exciting and excellent, for it was interesting to see the 1st doctor expressing his disapproval of the tardis interior. The soldier commenting that he could not believe the size of the tardis and that he is from world war one.

Oh my bad, I just read that they’ve started filming….so we MIGHT get like a 10 second teaser….

Probably won’t get a coming soon. seeing as they haven’t even started filming Series 11 lol

If we get a coming soon it will probably be brief but it would be nice as we don’t usually get one if the series isn’t until August. I hope they do something clever with the regenerations both at the end of the episode as its not an opportunity they’ve had before. My one concern is that the episode will be too busy and one of the characters or the main plot will be lost. Also its interesting that they’re not revealing much about the villain so with any luck it’ll be a returning villain.

Its the regeneration(s) and hopefully ‘coming soon’ for series 11 that i,m most looking forward to.

How’s the Christmas special going to end

  • Aaron Beavis

    November 17th, 2017 - 9:34pm

That would be a cool idea as there are rumours that Matt and / or David are returning so maybe it takes their form to toy with the doctor. Maybe it has no physical form, just projections. I hope it’s a new villain or a returning classic series villain we haven’t met.

An alien that has frozen time? Could this alien be disguising itself as Bill to lure the Doctor into the trap, or even Clara or do we think it’s actually the genuine companions returning?

He wouldn’t do that he’s too stubborn he’d end up watching CIN first and ruining it for himself. It’s stubbornness that’s left him months and months after the series ended with two episodes left to watch

  • whovian

    November 17th, 2017 - 7:17pm

Why not record children in need, encourage him to watch the finale, then watch CiN afterwards? That way there wont be any spoilers

  • Doctor Stu

    November 17th, 2017 - 9:52am

My brother watches children in need but hasn’t watched the last two episodes of S10 yet, I keep trying to tell him he’s going to get everything spoiled for himself. There’s no way to explain that even a slight glance at the screen during the children in need segment will ruin the whole thing for him because he won’t understand what the hell im going on about
