Doctor Who – The Rebel Flesh

Doctor Who – The Rebel Flesh
Saturday 21 May BBC One

Time to be confirmed

A solar tsunami sends the TARDIS hurtling towards a futuristic factory on Earth, where human doppelgangers are used to mine dangerous acid, as the time-travelling adventures continue.

A second wave hits and the “Gangers” separate. They can remember every second of their “original’s” life and feel every emotion they’ve ever experienced. But are these memories stolen or have they been bequeathed? Are the Gangers merely faulty machinery that must be shut down or are they living, breathing, sentient beings? Can the Doctor convince the terrified humans to accept these “almost people” and prevent an all-out civil war before the factory explodes?

The Doctor is played by Matt Smith, Amy by Karen Gillan and Rory by Arthur Darvill.

Im glad that they changed Gangers to The Almost People because when the BBC released The Rebel Flesh synpnosis there is that bit when it says can the Doctor convice the humans to accept these almost people because thats what clones are really like. Both these episodes Im looking forward to seeing them.

I like Alien Invasions aswell! But why would every being in the universe, want to just invade Earth! Moffat should make more interesting Daleks stories on 2013, I want more exterminations! I reckon the next major alien invasion should be by the Daleks, i know they’re common, and they’re the colourful Daleks but they are just sooooo interesting! Or the CIA, coverin up the existence of Silurians (not an alien species, but still awesome, i don’t care if they’re the classic series or new series style Silurian)!

“Good old fashioned”? Originally competorary stories were very rare, Moffat is taking us back to a more traditional version of the show without all the stereotypes created during the RTD era.

I miss such alien invasions such as Rose, Aliens of London/World War 3, Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways, The Christmas Invasion, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, The Last of the Timelords/The Sound of Drums, Partners of Crime, The sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky and lastly The Stolen Earth/Journeys End.

I Know the The Impossible Astronaught/Day of the Moon
When I say Alain invasion I mean ships in the sky countless deaths ,British gouvermen covering up and all that, I WANT ALL THAT BACK
