The Doctor receives a distress signal from an old friend. Could there really be another living Time Lord out there? Hopes raised, he follows the signal to a junkyard planet sitting upon a mysterious asteroid in a Bubble universe, populated by a very strange family, as the time-travelling drama continues.
The Doctor, Amy and Rory are given the warmest of welcomes by Auntie, Uncle and Nephew. But the beautiful and insane Idris greets them in a more unusual fashion – what is she trying to tell the Doctor? As the Doctor investigates, he unwittingly puts his friends in the gravest danger.
The Doctor is played by Matt Smith, Amy by Karen Gillan, Rory by Arthur Darvill and Idris by Suranne Jones.

I have also read that she could be the personification of the TARDIS, Although, I don’t know how they’d begin to write that.

Anywho, I’d love it to be Romana, but if it isn’t I won’t mind, there’s always fanfic!

April 29th, 2011 - 8:18amWhy not Romana ?, she may have left back in the 70’s, but Big Finish [ or whoever it was ] brought Romana out of E-Space with K9 MkII, returned to Gallifrey and ended up as Madame President of the Time Lords of Gallifrey, and possibly survived the Time War [ Chameleon Arch converting her into a Human or a Human looking Alien ] so she could be alive.

April 29th, 2011 - 8:00amWell Romana or not. I remember 2 actress Mary Tamm & Lalla Ward played role. Lalla Ward was married to Tom Baker 30 year ago before he decide to leave the Dr Who series. After that their Marriage broke up. Now married to different people. I would love to see Romana return but like this. A New actress should be in Consideration.
