May 3rd, 2013 - 11:08pmThey might be lying, we might have two Doctors for the 50th, or maybe they’ve used old footage of the Classic Doctors. Only the people involved know for sure, and even then they might not be honest with us until the special is broadcast. I read about the Daleks and Cybermen appearing on Wikipedia, but someone (I think booboo) told me it wasn’t so. All we can do is hope, and even if we don’t get Daleks or Classic Doctors, be able to judge the special on what it has rather than what it doesn’t have.

It says ‘Althogh David Tennant has returned to the role of the tenth doctor, the other old doctors will not be taking part.’ At no point in that sentence does it say ‘david tennant has told us that no other doctors will be taking part’. And as i have said, the BBC have not officially announced it. For all we know their scenes could be set all in a studio.

The scenes being filmed at Coal Hill School seemed to be contemporary, with schookids in modern dress. Clara was seen riding her bike into the schoolyard.
Meanwhile, at Totter’s Lane, they filmed a recreation of the very first shot of the very first episode, with a policeman walking past the yard. It’s not clear how far they went with this – the original shot is rather extended and ends up making a journey into the Yard and up to the Tardis.
